I am just starting in pilates and your videos are truly my favorite!! I had tried following someone else's video and it did not leave me wanting more like your work outs, I had to stop it and go back to yours!! I have bad lower back pain and your work outs are helping me get back into exercise in such a healthy way that has me looking forward to my pilates! YOU ARE AMAZING. THANK YOU!!
This was a perfect reset class after a few week hiatus from a regular workout/Pilates routine. I’d love more 25 min-30 min Pilates classes like this. Thank you Jessica 🙌🏻
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does someone know a trick to log back into an instagram account? I stupidly lost the login password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me!
Hi jessica 💗 i started doing your beginner pilates about 6 weeks ago to relieve pain ive been having months now in my neck back and pelvic area . And this is has been the only thing that has helped me ! this very video i followed this morning after a walk and some tightness in my thoracic area released and i can actually feel each vertebrae move with the pelvic tilts now (i didn’t realize that i wasnt feeling it before ) im also feeling so much stronger as i progress from beginner to intermediate i am so proud of myself and my pain is almost gone . Im a real fan girl and absolutely feel like i know you 😄. Thank you so much 🙏🏽
Started doing these videos in the new year (it's lockdown no. 3 in the UK so needed something to keep me moving and sane). At first, I was a complete beginner, I couldn't do wheel at all the first time I tried this video but today I'm proud to say I actually did it and held it! Thank you Jessica! X
Been using ur videos since the beginning of this year. When I was looking for an intro to Pilates u were the best instructor who actually started with the foundations. Now I’m on an intermediate level and I love how all the videos in a series lowkey prioritize a specific body region besides the core ofc. This one was really good for back, and others are arm intensive vs glute intensive. Anyways I love your videos and I tell all my friends! You’ve become a staple part in my daily routine. I cannot start my day without Jessica Valant Pilates!
Lol-I have been following you for a long time and found this older video. I could tell you were in a different space and working it out. Thanks, I needed that.
I've tried a few different instructors and, for me, yours is the most inspiring to keep going. Explaining the benefits and modifications gives me the grace to just "do what I can" and know I am making progress. One week later I already have better mobility, flexibity and am getting out of my own head! THANK YOU!
Great workout. It is the first time in a long time that I dare to work more intensely again and that is a very pleasant workout to continue to longer workouts. Just love it! Thank you Jessica.
Would you please do a tutorial on this tree thing, please? I've never seen it before and it's working on the stretch I'm trying to prioritize! also I LOVE the longer class!
Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful, powerful workout! It is less than 30 minutes but effective enough to give my whole body strength!!! Really enjoyed this sequence of movements, Jessica.
Thank you. The wheel was great, though I grunted and groaned while doing it. The skies are smoky from nearby fires and this workout (and your comments) lifted my spirits.
Jessica, I am in managed isolation (quarantine) after returning home to NZ. I started Pilates only 3 weeks ago in a reformer studio, and when I came to isolation, I wanted to do something each day in the hotel so subscribed to your channel. This is just brilliant, and I'm so grateful for this. Thank You x
Haven’t done bridge in a few years. It was very cool to witness my body doing one again and after class I felt more open in my chest and heart💜 like I could breathe fully! Thank you
Thankyou Jessica for this just getting back into Pilates just what I needed as I don’t seem to have time to workout much due to work. But this is great Thankyou.
Wow I really enjoyed this! Thank you. I am recovering from an injury and this feels good and safe for me to do. I usually am doing weight training but my knee cant take it. This was a great change.
You do count. I appreciate your videos, found them during the lockdown. And now after knee surgery they are helping getting my body and knee moving again. Thank you.
I have to tell you...I have osteoarthritis in both knees and I've been doing knee friendly workouts and strengthening workouts with weights for about a month. Lately, I've had less motivation to do those and high anxiety. This was just what I needed today! It feels like a combo of strengthening and yoga! 💜💜💜
This was a great workout Jessica. Just getting back into a more stable workout routine (life just got hectic after having my baby). Your routines have helped me before and I look forward to the results now that I have more time to dedicate to myself.
Thanks for this! I'm somewhat new to pilates and am enjoying your channel. I have had lower back pain ever since my last pregnancy. But, I know that strengthening my core is slowly helping, and your pilates videos are the favorites that I've tried. Do you have any sequences aimed at the core and hips where none of the positions put pressure on the wrists? I have very bad pains in my wrists when I put pressure on them in a bent position (like push up, plank, side plank, wheel, etc. positions). I can do some positions on my fists instead, keeping my wrists straight, but sometimes this is just too much pressure on the small joints of my fingers. I've found both yoga and pilates difficult for this reason. Thanks again!
Thank you for this wonderful workout! Any tips for how to slowly get back into a workout routine after surgery? I’m having a surgery in a few months and was wondering how I should plan on recovering (I’m thinking of scheduling a visit with a PT beforehand)
Hi Jessica... Thank you it is a good work out... Some exercise I've never done before... It is normal that I feel a bit of pain in my knee when I cross the leg at the end can I just do with bended legs? Thank you.. I'll definitely repeat this workout.. Thank you!
Hi Jessica just wanted to know if it can be done 3 months after hysterectomy as some exercises involve lifting head and legs at the same time like bicycle crunches,V's etc Please reply
I am simply devouring these video's and so far I've been able to follow in everything, but that wheel had me stumped. And I mean completely! I must have tried it ten times but I never even came close to lifting myself off. I might as well have tried to move a solid wall, and I'm not weak in my arms at all. Does anyone know if there's a technique to it that may not be as obvious?
I just want to say I love your workouts I’ve been following you and doing your videos for a few years now I also have endometriosis and I took a year off but I’ve kept up with my workout for two years now I know this is long and im sorry but I do have a question when it’s comes to working out I can’t workout every day due to my schedule so I can get 3-4 workouts in a week is ok. And some workouts such as this one are only 20-25 and some are 45 some are an hour long and I feel great afterwards but and I doing any good for my body this way please let me know thanks 😊 your fan Nicky
I couldn't lift my head off the floor while trying to do wheel pose I am 15 months post laparoscopic Hysterectomy Feeling tight in upper thoracic How to progress further
Anyone else feel this feels really rushed. I thought Pilates was all about concentrating on the detail of the movement, core stability so you don’t injure yourself. I’ve been doing Pilates for over ten years and it’s never been about flinging about like this
If you watch footage of Joseph Pilates teaching you will find he moved extremely fast! He used Pilates for cardio and taught precision with quite a bit of speed. We have slowed it down over the years which is fabulous but there is nothing wrong with teaching or doing a little quicker as long as your movements are controlled. We teach different speed in order to train the body differently. If it doesn't work for you I highly recommend finding a slower speed that does!
I like the exercises you do however you chat so much it’s distracting from the exercises. And without counting you do uneven exercises for each side of body, I’ve noticed this in many of your videos.
I am just starting in pilates and your videos are truly my favorite!! Just did this one the best I could. Holy moly, I have a long way to go, but I am thrilled to challenge myself and have new goals to reach for!
I just so appreciate your relaxed & compassionate guidance. Really helps me do my best while respecting my body’s limitations. ❤🙏🏻
This was a good step up from your 20 min classes. It's surprising how much more effort an extra 5 min requires ;) Thank you, Jessica!
This was a perfect reset class after a few week hiatus from a regular workout/Pilates routine. I’d love more 25 min-30 min Pilates classes like this. Thank you Jessica 🙌🏻
I guess Im asking the wrong place but does someone know a trick to log back into an instagram account?

I’d love more 25-30 minutes classes! This was perfect!

I really liked this workout. Challenged me with more hip strengthening. Good abs. Lots of bridges to massage the spine in between.

Jessia, love your pilates videos, but adds in the middle of them are frustrating. at the beginning, or end is fine...

You're very beautiful, Jessica xoxo
I like the exercises you do however you chat so much it’s distracting from the exercises. And without counting you do uneven exercises for each side of body, I’ve noticed this in many of your videos.
Hi like the exercises but feel that you talk incessantly. There is no quiet moments in the move or in between!
Thank you. 💕
What a great workout thank you!
