  • How to change the brakes to a 1st generation Toyota Venza!
    Tool List:
    - metric socket set and socket wrench or equivalent tool
    - car jack and jack stands
    - brake cleaner spray
    - brake grease
    - needle nose pliers
    - torque wrench
    - large C-clamp or brake tool kit
    - brake quiet gel/spray (only needed if new pads do not have anti-squeal backing pad)
    Torque Specs:
    - caliper guide pin bolts = 24 ft-lbs
    - wheel lug nuts = 76 ft-lbs

      I got this done without issue! Thank you for your video. I still need to do the back pads. Is it the same 12mm and torque?

    Toyotas do best with Toyota parts. It's also a good idea to put a dab of copper anti seize in the pad guide groove (top/bottom) and smear some disc quiet on the backside of pads.

    Original brake pads are made by Akebono. I recommend.

    Good Video! Can I ask you where did you find the repair manual for the 2014 Venza? I have a 2014 XLE AWD V6 and my daughter has a 2015 XLE 4 cyl.

      My local Toyota dealership allows me to view sections of the factory service manual as long as I buy the repair parts from them. Also, there are manuals floating online or snips of the manual you can view
