Actually turn sequins are what the ALDC is the best at and club dance isn't as focused on turns because they like to focus on flexibility and natural looking movement.
+SPRINKLES M What you should really focus at, by the way. Focusing on turns is a wrong thing for a dance teacher to do and that also shows that she is or he is a bad choreographer. A turn sequence is taking a few seconds from the dance, which makes sure that the teacher won't have to "waste her time" on real choreography.

Yes! Abby fills the dances with front ariels and turns like where is the actual dance that shows us the flexibility and the quality of the movement of the dancer

Yes Kalani Yes! FINALLY! A dance that shows what this girl can really do! Honestly I think Kalani is the best on the team her musicality is do die for! She is such a gorgeous girl I hope she makes it far in her career!
***** Her choreography was good, but the only "Kalani face" I saw was a boring one. She literally had THE SAME facial expression the whole time! Maddie would have danced this better AND had real facials to go with it, not just one pained look like Kalani had.
yanarlee yeah right! I don't think Maddie could do this dance. She's a good dancer but it wouldn't be as good as kalani just did it.

It's amazing to hear Alexa say that Kalani was regressing bc, with Alexa's choreography, you can see that she's struggling a bit. This vs. her her at TDA also shows you that.

Also giving Kalani a flattering costume instead of those tinier ones which isn't the most flattering on older girls whoever going through changes. I loved this whole solo down to every detail

Kalani is, in my opinion, the best dancer on the team. She is just so beautiful when she dances and her technique is flawless. Honestly I feel she could beat Maddie, there hasn't been a dance I haven't loved.

It's interesting how this solo that seems "simple" or "easy" was the hardest for Kalani. Alexa is an amazing choreographer and I'll never get tired of seeing her choreos

Alexa's choreography never disappoints! She truly showcases what Kalani can do. I only wish that Kalani comes back to Club Dance where she really belongs. It's not that I don't like her on DM, but because if she were at CD, she will continuously flourish as an even better dancer.
Myah Crisostomo She leaves ALDC after nationals, Kira stated it on her twitter account. Kalani is now back with Club dance studio as we speak.

AngieCarribbean club dance'a teachers and choreographers just train their students better. Making them flexible and learn control and technique: WITH FACIALS. Kalani still trains with them when the show is not filming.
Exactly! This is a dance that isn’t filled with one turn after another and it’s more controlled. Gianna isn’t a bad choreographer she just does what Abby gives her to teach so over all Abby is a bad choreographer and not Gianna because you can see when Abby choreographs it’s way different from gianna
i found this dance quite boring and i think that it doesn't show of even half of Kalani's skill set it has just a bunch of the same stuff over and over again i know this is unpopular but kalani can and has had much better choreo so you know like say somthing say anything and also kalani solos aren't normally filled with turns maddie gets the most turns because she is good at then and it is her strong point. However in sure the Alexa is a great choreographer but this dance just didnt do it for me. :)

Alexas choreography beats Abby's any day
There's nothing better than watching a dance choreographed by someone who ACTUALLY UNDERSTANDS THE DANCER
FRRR I feel Abby didn’t know Heidi to do justice for kalani and showing what she could actually do.
This shows how choreography matters. And having another choreographer who isn't baby and knows Kalani, makes her shine. It's not bendy or theatrical and filled with turns. It's tailored and honestly, Kalani killed it. And it's not like she never could before. She just needed a teacher who was as dedicated to HER as Abby is to maddie.
This is my favorite solo from Kalani :) i truly feel that this really reveals who she really is both inside and out; beautiful and mature

If you watch her other dances by Alexa you could see she executed all the tilts and extension pauses with so much ease. But in this solos you can she her struggling a bit. I guess she really wasn't getting proper training at aldc.
Alexa's little smirk/smile thing at the end, haha! Loved this so much! Finally shows the mature Kalani and not the acro-y girl that Abby wants her to be!
Out off all the dances throughout the seasons of dance moms, Kalani took my breath away. I'm glad Kalani took control of the situation and is doing her thing, it shows her maturity as dancer. Kalani is a gorgeous and talented dancer, the show just never displayed her talent by herself.
Y'all are forgetting abby is more of an acro teacher and gia is lyrical, also Alexa has worked with kalani since she was a child, she built kalani and she knows the perfect choreography for her.
You can also tell which studio has the best teaching methods. Every kid on dance moms from club dance came in with the best technique and it slowly regressed because Abby didn’t know what to do with them.

Oh my God - Alexa is an AMAZING choreographer!!! Kalani was so beautiful to watch and she conveyed so much emotion. Enchanting, captivating, haunting, beautiful, soulful.... So many ways and words can be used to describe it.
In the episode, Alexa says Kalani’s dancing and technique, is definitely not up where it was, when she was with her in Arizona. If that’s the case, you can only imagine how amazing she was before!!!

Kalani was born naturally flexible and with high arched feet. She was definitely born to be a dancer. Dancers with flat feet (like Nia) have to work extra extra hard to get that Kalani arch.
No way Maddie could have done this at her age. She’s so elegant and talented
This makes Abby look like she can’t even do good choreography. This is what I look for when I watch people Kalanis age dancing. Abby really should of brought other choreographers in to teach the girls cause all she does is predictable acro routines
Abby can actually do brilliant choreography. The issue is that she’s lazy and had Gianna do most of it, as well as like 7-8 other dances at the same time each week. That’s why the choreography at the ALDC always suffered. Even Christi stated that Abby’s work is amazing, it’s just rarely seen because she has Gianna do everything.
I like to see Maddie go up against Kalani with the solo like this and not performing one that Abby purposely designed to lose, don't give me wrong Maddie is a beautiful dancer but she does not have the Grace and fluidity that Kalani has
Kalani was such a fantastic dancer and Abby really dimmed her light in order to have Madi stand out. She always categorize the girls and Maddie was her lyrical girl Kalani was acro, Nia was hip-hop, even though she could do lyrical really well

This is my favorite dance, just the technique and the song and the costume was brilliant and I love that Abby didn’t choreograph this, also the message is so smart!!
Favorite solo!!!!! I like some solos that Abby gives her, but Alexia's coreo is something else! This is what kalani is best at and I really hope abby stops with all the acro solos. In Abby's mind, if you're flexible, you're automatically an acro dancer and nothing else. That will hurt kalani if she stays. She's so much more than that.
Kalani is amazing, this is one of here best performances on the show. Kalani has what all the girls on Alec doesn’t have, control and maturity. The way her body moves is so mature and controlling,I love it❤️she is sooo underrated , I wish Abby actually gave her competitive good choreography not that same old acro😡anyways I loveee Kalani and honestly I think she’s better than maddie

Omg chills!! You can tell kalani felt the music and told a story. This solo was so different than the ones Abby gave her and I feel like Alexa did such a good job I honestly prefer this choreography over abbys. I know kalani enjoyed that solo than anything. ❤

Kalani is such an amazing dancer her transition were so graceful and her musicality were stunning I don't know why Abby took her out of the group the group got 1st place and 1st overall they still would have won just in the " teen category "

One of my favorite solos that Kalani has done on dance moms! Alexa's chereo is unique and tells a story, it's more technical. Alexa's contemporary solos are amazing! Kalani excellent work! Finally seeing full capability of the amazing young lady. She does well with Abby's chereo but I feel like there's just something that cliques when she's doing Alexa's chereo.😊😍😘💥🔥

In Gianna and Abby’s defense, they are entertainment choreographers so they’re going to be a lot of tricks and turns while Alexa is a competition choreographer meaning her choreography will be challenging and not have as many tricks and turns
Kalani is the most mezmerizing dancer! I love this choreography because it alternates between fast and slow, drawn out movements - with pauses you can "hang" on. I find with Abby's choreography it's always so fluid - nothing slows down when you watch it. This was just beautiful.

Jill your daughter doesn’t get a “week” of praise and glory. Not a parade either. She gets that day the video came out and that’s it. No one else has asked for the group to worship them for a week. A day is all she can expect.

It showed her technique, her musicality, she had a message to tell that she has invested her time with Abby Lee Miller and Abby didn't give her the time to tell and see what her strongest genre of dance is because she thinks its acrobatics,but its not its contemporary. So she did a good job Alexa Moffet your great at choreographing and thanks Lifetime Network for Dance Moms and this video.
