I feel the same way. I think it’s because with Kalani it feels natural. With the other girls it feels rehearsed. It’s a little too polished. But when Kalani dances, especially with these mature pieces, it doesn’t look like something she’s run a million times in the studio. It feels extremely authentic and like she’s bursting with emotion with every move she makes. I absolutely love it.
Is that Kalani tells a story, but not only with facials, she does it with her movement. She has a *GORGEOUS* technique that is not comparable to others. She has both facials and her the story she tell with her movement, and that is some thing not everyone has

Kalani is definitely the best dancer of the team. I'm glad she started to shine more since Maddie and Mack left. She is just so graceful and dances with so much emotion. I hope she will make it after dance moms, she deserves it the most!
YABC dancers Brynn has amazing natural flexibility but she doesn't perform like kalani does and she doesn't have the great turnout kalani does. Also compare their arabesque ponchés. Brynn brings her torso down earlier than she should, kalani doesn't. I think by the time Brynn is her age she could very well be just as good

She’s not much better then maddie, shes only more mature and more technical, maddie is much better at turning, and maddie can do all the moves kalani could do but kalani just does them better.

The thing I love about this is there isn’t a million turn sequences or tumbling passes, there’s tricks yes, but there is only a handful, and it’s mostly jumps. it shows the true, raw emotional energy Kalani puts into her solos.

I'm not gonna lie this is one of the best performances I've ever seen! From Abby's surprisingly intricate choreography to the perfection of Kalani, this is a technical and visually stunning masterpiece. This goes to show that she has not plateaued and continues to evolve as a dancer. I feel like she's became even more flexible as if that was even possible! I love Maddie and I've always said she's better than Kalani but I prefer this solo over any Maddie solo. Anyway they're both superb dancers but this really changed my perception on Kalani! :-)
Gabriella Martodrono maddie has better emotion and she can do more turns then kalani, kalani also has good emotion and good turns, but not as good as maddie, but kalani is more technical and mature making her beautiful to watch so I agree with you but maddies the 2nd best.
I love that she doesn't have the typical body for an ideal dancer but she still better than most people and she shows that even if you're not the perfect body you can still do what you want to do when you want to do it she's such an inspirational person
I don't know if this makes sense but one of the many things I love about watching Kalani dance is when she dances she flows with the music and it goes so smoothly into each move, she's not just doing dance moves and putting them together and looking like a robot. She makes it look like she's known this choreography her whole life. It's breathtaking.

Nothing will ever defeat Kalanis’ emotions and facial expressions while during lyrical pieces. She has good movement in her body especially in her arms, they flow like a calm river. I honestly admire her lyrical solos.

The originals have something about them that makes them special. Especially Kalani. They put so much emotion into their dancing that inspires me to do better as a dancer.

I could watch this all day. From the choreo to her talent to the costume to her face to the song the entire thing is just incredible.

i love this piece , not only is she not recognised , she is probably one of the best on the team , maddie and chloe are known as the main “best” dancers but kalani has a lot of potential that isn’t getting the recognition it should have
