    The one important accessory you omitted to mention is the EZClean Power Cleaner 6 ft. Flexible Wand. It snaps onto the front nozzle, and allows you to put the whole unit on the ground and spray just with this easily maneuverable nozzle connected by a flexible plastic hose. It works great especially with the foam canister. And IMHO the 40V system is vastly superior (especially if you're already on that battery system), and it also comes with a longer 5 year warranty (except for the battery).

    • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  Год назад +3

      I saw that the other day at Home Depot. Was not on the shelf when I bought all the accessories. Thank you for pointing that out. I am big on the 40v system and have the 1500 PSI battery pressure washer that came with two 6AH batteries. The reason I chose the 18v is when traveling its a much smaller battery and I have 6AH 18v batteries and thought it would be lighter and the bottom is not as big.

    7:56 Thank you for reviewing the chemical sprayer adapter pack. That 1 gallon jug adapter is perfect for just spraying down the car using the foaming cannon attachment. I have a pressure washer as well, but have become annoyed with the remove/disconnect/change of hose and attachments when trying to complete the job efficiently. I can also see this being useful for pesticides and fertilizer. Definitely better than untangling and hauling out the 100 foot hose just do do a small cleaning job far away from the house.

    I just bought one this weekend. I want it for between car washes to get off pollen and bird poop and ice melt in the winter and to use in my shower. I love that I watched this and found out about the gallon accessory because that is perfect. I suspect the 2-liter attachment would cause it to not last as long. Even better that I will be able to lengthen the hose from a bucket. Very cool.

    I have that EZ Clean and it is not difficult to convert to a 1/4" quick connect if you are willing to spend some money. What I did was to remove the nozzle from a Ryobi EZ Clean brush Model# RY3112MB and drilled the threaded end out large enough to use an M22 X 1.5mm tap. After tapping the nozzle I screwed in a brass M22 1/4" pressure washer female quick connect with a bit of teflon tape wrapped around the threads and I now have a standard quick connect for my EZ Clean. I also made another one by using a Ryobi 12" replacement wand Model# RY3112EW following the same procedure.
    One additional note, when you modify the wand by drilling the end out, it will remove the attachment release clip, so depending on your 1/4" quick connect this could allow for water to escape where the release clip once was. This happened to me so I simply put an O-ring in the bottom of the wand, screwed in the quick connect and it is water tight.
    * Be sure to check everything for fitment *_before_* making any modifications so as to not end up with a pile of useless parts. YMMV

      Appreciate the info. I have thought of doing this, but felt it was too much to show my viewers. Most that get these would not attempt to modify so much. There is a product on Ryobi website that is the 1/4 connection for this they just have not released and unsure if they ever will.

      Compared to what you get from a normal pressure washer yes it’s expensive, but anything battery operated and portable is going to be higher. • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  12 дней назад

      It would work that way and the garden hose straight from the house spigot will work as well. The quick connect works with many of the other ones out in the market. Gardena style quick connects if you want to look up the style. It might struggle priming if it’s say a very large 3/4 garden hose. Keep the diameter 5/8 or less and should work just fine.

I have to carry my water source outside in buckets so being able to use rinseless in the car and use this to blast my wheels off after Brake Buster and then some form of protection would be fantastic.

      Absolutely you could. I have use them this way as well when traveling. The 40 degree tip works pretty good for just about anything. Adjusting the strength from 1 to 3 helps change it from mist to a less wasteful spray pattern. Just make sure to always have a bottle of distilled or DI water to run through for a bit after the wash is done so nothing gets gunked up.
