    • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  9 месяцев назад +2

      I’m looking at fixing the balance as well maybe what they use on di tanks. Since they are curved. They put a plastic ring that the bottle sits in and keep a nice flat surface.

    • @floridaredneck
      @floridaredneck 8 месяцев назад +1

      I agree, the flat looked better at first, but when you think about it, it's only going to be empty when you get it, so most of the time it's going to have liquid in it so the bump style seems more stable. I'm a detailer, so all my bottles are filled after each job anyway. You have to wonder how some designs make it to production. Morphing into a different shape when in use is a serious flaw.

    • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  8 месяцев назад

      @@floridaredneck Function over form in this case. I guess you can say there is a reason coke and Mtn Dew bottles use the pronged style bottom. Carbonation causes the bottom to push out. Other liquids without the pressure have the flat bottoms like Gatorade. I think these would have been great with a 5 prong bottom instead of 3 which would have had way better balance.

      @@CarsWithKeavSure would have, but you can only change so much until physics takes over and you can't change the center of gravity without weight or width. For myself, I keep my bottles full mostly; of course they'll get low, but I try to keep them topped and always after a job. Plus, I hang my spray bottles in use on the side of my wash bucket off the ground, as long as the trigger system can handle it. That way I'm not kicking them over or catching them with the hose.

    FUZION rinseless wash from American Detail Garage is a FOAMING rinseless. It does have a very low dilution ratio compared to the rest of them with the 256:1 but if you want a foaming rinseless wash, FUZION is a good one. I heard you mention you like foam but don't like rinseless that much. FUZION may surprise you. It does everything all the other rinseless washes do such as clay lube, glass cleaner, interior cleaner, waterless wash, etc. I'm not sure what the new Labocosmetica rinseless wash (IDROSAVE) does foaming wise. Everyone who has tested the new Labocosmetica Idrosave say's it's the best rinseless wash they have ever used and these are long term detailing professionals. This battery powered sprayer looks pretty good actually for the money. I am in the market for one of these so I might pick this one up. Thanks for posting!

      I just don’t like to physically touch my cars after the contact. I prefer to pre-foam rinse foam again and contact wash then blow dry. I hate drying cars with towels. If I was running a business I would for sure be using rinseless for the efficiency and less water needed. DIY detail foams as well and I have used as a pre-rinse before and works good. I thought most rinseless were 256:1 at least the ones I have tried which is just ONR and DIY Detail.

    One thing to note if you leave air in it you may get a pin hole leak as I got today. At least I think that’s what happened. Could’ve been something I did but other than that I’ve had it for the last 6mo ans it’s been great, acid , alkaline, rimseless, apc whatever I threw at it. I did rinse it out after ever use ans release the air periodically because the bottom would bu bulging out from pressure. So occasionally while it’s sitting during the day I’ll release the air and it’ll go back to the normal shape of the container. Good video, great little tool.

It will take a little longer to get going to fill the larger void with air though. They designed it just right because it works somehow.

    Hi Keav, I ordered one with the flat bottle bottom. On yours, do you have a gasket to seal the bottle to the top unit when you screw it togther? Mine is leaking air because it only foams on the tip and drips down when I try to spray. I also see bubbles coming out between the bottle and the unit. I think I got a lemon and will be returning mine.

    Hi @CarsWithKeav. After watching your video I thought to give this a go to snow foam the whole car (BMW Z4). Just tried it today with 1 ounce of DIY detail Incredible Suds to 1.5L of warm water. Can I ask is it normal to run out of solution so quick? I get to empty in about 2 minutes. I have to refill to 1.5L again to do the whole car. Thanks

    • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  9 месяцев назад +1

      I just tried it and you are right about 2.5 minutes and it’s empty. Probably why it foams so good is it is pushing a lot of liquid out. I myself have never been able to cover a whole car with 1.5L the least I have done is 3L. A lot of it depends on how thick of a layer you are spraying. For a whole car an IK Foam pro 12 is what I use. Holds 2 gallons and sprays all day. Several have shown me they buy two of these and dual wield them like pistols and do a whole car. I hit overkill though. Maybe diluting to 1/2 ounce for 1.5L that might give better coverage and allow to get more surface area with one bottle. A foam cannon will usually use at least a gallon to even 2 gallons of water and soap to cover a car.

    • @CarsWithKeav

      If doing a whole car you might have to do two bottle fills depending on how thick you lay down the foam. For a garden hose the Gilmour 1-12 oz garden hose foamer is the best you can do to get foam without a pressure washer. It will flow 3x more soap than just about any garden hose foamer. This would do a whole car, but you would have to be very frugal and coverage would not be good without refilling multiple times. For a whole car I would suggest the IK Foam Pro 12 which holds 2 gallons and can be fed with compressed air, has its own battery pump accesory or you can us a tire inflator ti keep it running. Its on order just waiting for it to deliver. Doesn't look as good as I would expect from them though, but we shall see especially at that price.

    Ordered about 7 hours ago when the listing said 18 left in stock, now shows unavailable. You helped them sell out! Side note-the listing says the blue button on the side can be pressed to pressurize the unit to 2 bar after a couple seconds. Did you try that rather than pressurizing via the trigger?

      I’ll have to give it a try. In testing all it did was relieve built up pressure, but maybe it can do two things. Hope I didn’t overlook something.

      Cool. The image on the Amazon listing shows two arrows on the button, so I wonder if one direction relieves the pressure and the other builds it. Thanks!

      So I just got mine from Amazon and the side button, although it has two arrows on it, only pushes in straight and only functions to relieve the pressure, not to build pressure. Too bad, but it’s still a great buy.

    I hardly doubt that's usb c, It might be a usb c connector but that doesnt mean that it's a ture usb c charging cability.

      USB C connector of course. I don’t think anybody is arguing that this thing is running real usb-c. A lot of these types of devices use proprietary connector so having a usb c connector is a plus. You lose that proprietary connector charging cable you might be out of luck if it’s usb-c you can just use another cable around the house.

    I was really excited to get the blk and yellow auto form sprayer, and I was extremely extremely disappointed! didn't form my car up the way u did it to the hood. it barley spit out the thick layer either. I ended up throwing it away, wht a waste of $80

      What soap and dilutions did you use? Just trying to figure out why. Was the little filter present in the nozzle?

      I filled the water all the way to the top then put the soap (Adams Ultra Foam) I didn't measure but I put enough. @@CarsWithKeav

      It’s pretty annoying so for sure would not use to do a whole car, but a few seconds per wheel I can deal with.

    I got one after seeing this video. Every time I use it the tank blows off from the power head. Have you ever heard of this

    • @CarsWithKeav

      Blows off meaning after a bit or when it starts running? Wondering if the pressure relief is going off to soon or the head is not threading right and not dealing.

    How loud is it? It sounds obnoxiously loud.

      @CarsWithKeav  9 месяцев назад +1

      It is noisy, but not to me compared to say using a leaf blower to dry the car. I use for wheel & tire cleaner so it doesn’t run very long at one time for me.

    I just wondering is this one works with car wax too ? 🤔

    • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  9 месяцев назад +1

      If you mean a spray wax I would stick to a sprayer that mists really well. Most liquid wax has no foaming ability for this to spread evenly.

  • @tenjho101

    can you foam the entire car with it ??

    • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  9 месяцев назад

      You for sure could. You would not be able to have a really nice thick layer everywhere due to not having enough soap inside that would be the one factor. Battery is plenty for it. I myself wouldn’t use for the whole car, but it could be done. Just would take a long time.
