Very cool product, but I personally don't have any issues manually pumping up smaller bottles like that. You could run your own inflator pump with some Velcro straps and do the E Pro 12 setup as low as $160 to $170. Way thing about the E pro though is it auto starts and stops. If rinsless would have foamed, I would have been sold. I use IK Foam Pro 12, and DIY rinsless does great in it following your video dilution from a while back. Still solid for those who do normal car wash soap.
@CarsWithKeav Yes, your dilution worked amazingly in my IK pro. I looked everywhere for someone to give that dilution, and you saved the day. I screenshot it on your video from awhile back.
@@TheBizcuit0426 I just tried with that dilution and it does way better, but not Ik pro 12 level foam. It did coat well, but very runny and the nozzle splattered a good bit.
@CarsWithKeav thanks for the follow-up. You definitely didn't have to test again but I appreciate you did. Yeah I really didn't need the IK but it was a Christmas gift. I normally pre- treat using a 2 gallon Ryobi battery sprayer. There is plenty of power to blow out window seals or door jams. If needed I will use some All clean to pre treat lower panels but not really needed to often for my vehicles or paint enhancements I work on these days.
Hello, Thanks you for this product review. it makes quite a lot of foam even on a big dilution ration. I'm now considering buying one. How's the battery autonomy ? can you spray a normal size sedan with one charge ? How has its durability/reliability been 8 months after uploading this video ? Cheers, P.
You callus easily do a whole car on one charge, but most likely would need to do multiple refills of the soap depending on how much you cover. Mine did finally stop working just the other day. I think the battery won’t charge anymore. I bought another one that’s on its way. Same type different color bottle with better reviews. amzn.to/3YsK2D6
Perfect little foamer. You don't have to use much product (1 oz) and you don't have to fiddle with portable air compressors. Just fill and spray. The auto on and off function is the real draw
I will have to check that out. Somebody else stated they sometimes go back to original form being left empty for a bit. I think like a silicone sleeve would work well. half on the bottle and the other part to keep a nice flat bottom.
@@CarsWithKeav nice, I just tried it with some of our general spray bottles and I think when they’re cooling down is when they start returning to the original form just leave the top open.
Keav in researching this. The one you have linked for $39.99 is the only one I've seen with a 4500mah battery. Almost all the others are 2600mah. It appears to be 20-30 min vs 50-60 min. Either way. I got one. Should be fun.
Had no idea and I also just saw a newer listing that doesn’t even say the MAH, but says it’s 20 minutes run time. Who knows I had two of them and might have mixed them up. 🤣
I’m going lean on the cleaning supplies. Just Microfibers and Waterless wash. Small blower in case we in the rain Saturday morning while loading in for VIP.
9:29 thick foam matter because of a product inside and nozzle, ok you can find a lot of good liquids what about the pressure of this if there is only 1/10 of liquid inside. How the machine pomp do not loose pleasure ?
Tha machine pump has to run the whole time and it provides more air than it sends out. Unlike some other products where it pumps way more air and has a lot of pressure and you can spray without running. You can see in the end where I see how long it runs it sprayed until it was empty. It will take a little longer to get going to fill the larger void with air though. They designed it just right because it works somehow.
@@stvcrgy55 Brake Buster 5:1 dilution ate through the gasket on mine and leaked everywhere. Need to get a new gasket and fix it just have not had the time to deal with it. You can’t buy them anymore except for maybe eBay right now.
It surprised me at how well it does. There are some in the comments that have had it for months running all kind of chemicals and it is still doing well.
I know you mentioned you have an upcoming video comparing four thumb drive all metal hose nozzles, but can you drop the name/link to the one in this video you showed off with no GPM limit?
Absolutely you can, but won’t be as good as dedicated type sprayer that does just liquid spraying, but it makes this a good dual threat as it comes with the ability to change it to a liquid sprayer that doesn’t foam.
Hi Keav, I ordered one with the flat bottle bottom. On yours, do you have a gasket to seal the bottle to the top unit when you screw it togther? Mine is leaking air because it only foams on the tip and drips down when I try to spray. I also see bubbles coming out between the bottle and the unit. I think I got a lemon and will be returning mine.
I’ll have to look when I get back from vacation, but pretty sure there is a gasket in there. Unfortunately when we try these cheaper products the defect % is higher.
Hi @CarsWithKeav. After watching your video I thought to give this a go to snow foam the whole car (BMW Z4). Just tried it today with 1 ounce of DIY detail Incredible Suds to 1.5L of warm water. Can I ask is it normal to run out of solution so quick? I get to empty in about 2 minutes. I have to refill to 1.5L again to do the whole car. Thanks
I just tried it and you are right about 2.5 minutes and it’s empty. Probably why it foams so good is it is pushing a lot of liquid out. I myself have never been able to cover a whole car with 1.5L the least I have done is 3L. A lot of it depends on how thick of a layer you are spraying. For a whole car an IK Foam pro 12 is what I use. Holds 2 gallons and sprays all day. Several have shown me they buy two of these and dual wield them like pistols and do a whole car. I hit overkill though. Maybe diluting to 1/2 ounce for 1.5L that might give better coverage and allow to get more surface area with one bottle. A foam cannon will usually use at least a gallon to even 2 gallons of water and soap to cover a car.
@@CarsWithKeav Thank you for your reply and testing the timings, it's much appreciated. Now I know it's normal for the foamer. I was looking at the IK Foam pro 12 and even detail kegs but when I saw your video, I like you thought Wow!, it's cheap and produces great foam. over all I'm happy with it. Awesome find Keav.
Thanks for the video I've been trying to find an electric one for a hot minuet and everything I come across is just sketchy and untrustworthy because of the lack of information on them and very little videos of good trustworthy quality play a part in it to so thanks.
You’re Welcome! There are few really good high quality ones out there. This is the best I have seen and still has a few things I would like to be more durable. IK sprayers are coming out with battery operated sprayers and foamers at the end of the year. They will not be cheap though.
I would not do the flat bottom as it expands under pressure. Not sure that’s good over a length of time. The one with the prongs is more structurally sound in my opinion.
Don’t store it with air tho that little bottle will continue to grow out at the bottom and round the biotin out. So yeah great video like I said it also fits other bottles but they need to be crush proof.
Thanks for the advice and great info on the durability of this product. I think I might get some kind of silicone or plastic sleeve to fit around the bottom kind of like the FRP spotless tanks have.
@@alangraham4903 I didn’t keep exact numbers since I was filling it up with water about halfway each time. 1/2 ounce of product (15ml) and fill to the max. Might need to adjust to your liking as well. Water quality could impact a good bit.

I still dont get how dilution ratios work, I just ordered one of these foamers and I have with me Sonax Actifoam, how many millilitres would you consider ideal for the whole car? maybe 25 or 30ml? If the bottle has a capacity of 1.5L, what should be the max amount of shampoo and water? maybe just 1L?
If doing a whole car you might have to do two bottle fills depending on how thick you lay down the foam. Watched a real quick video from Sonax and based on what they say I would start with 50ml of actifoam in the bottle and fill all the way to the max line of 1.5 Liters. Then you can change if you want more or less foam.
@@CarsWithKeav this is amazing lmao, only 40ML of Actifoam and the rest water, incredible results, thanks for making a video about this product, im thinking of buying more
Do me a favor I'm having trouble finding your links I just bought the ego pressure washer and I want to get a 35 ft pressure washer water cable that goes to the handle so I have more room can you recommend one and any accessories I might need
The standby time on the batteries is great on these units, I also have the Bear force type and the battery died after one use. But so far it’s been great, also used Acid and Alkaline. It’s a great little unit.
So. Dry durable with chemicals that’s good. I have the solo sprayer and it’s been a year and I have charged it maybe once. Battery life and standby is so good on that, but then they stop the bigger version and come out with a smaller head with less battery.
@@valentingarcia4137 I like the balance and bottle of the yellow and black one. White and blue one I think sprays better since it’s using compression and not an electrical pump.
I literally just bought that same foam sprayer about 3 weeks mine came in like 2 days it's a good foamer I was wondering when I would see your video about it lol
I’m liking the 3 sided bottom more as the flat bottom deforms with pressure. Neither are very balanced empty, but the 3 prong is much better full of liquid for me.
can you use something like that on an entire car? I ask this bc I dont have a pressure machine and anytime I hook up a form bottle to a garden hoes it never forms up really thick. any suggestions ?
For a garden hose the Gilmour 1-12 oz garden hose foamer is the best you can do to get foam without a pressure washer. It will flow 3x more soap than just about any garden hose foamer. This would do a whole car, but you would have to be very frugal and coverage would not be good without refilling multiple times. For a whole car I would suggest the IK Foam Pro 12 which holds 2 gallons and can be fed with compressed air, has its own battery pump accesory or you can us a tire inflator ti keep it running. Here is a video on the Gilmour ruclips.net/video/wCdij1-PGsk/видео.html and another on the IK Foamers using inflators ruclips.net/video/u6Ci3Qs5_48/видео.html

Ordered about 7 hours ago when the listing said 18 left in stock, now shows unavailable. You helped them sell out! Side note-the listing says the blue button on the side can be pressed to pressurize the unit to 2 bar after a couple seconds. Did you try that rather than pressurizing via the trigger?
Cool. The image on the Amazon listing shows two arrows on the button, so I wonder if one direction relieves the pressure and the other builds it. Thanks!
So I just got mine from Amazon and the side button, although it has two arrows on it, only pushes in straight and only functions to relieve the pressure, not to build pressure. Too bad, but it’s still a great buy.
USB C connector of course. I don’t think anybody is arguing that this thing is running real usb-c. A lot of these types of devices use proprietary connector so having a usb c connector is a plus. You lose that proprietary connector charging cable you might be out of luck if it’s usb-c you can just use another cable around the house.
I was really excited to get the blk and yellow auto form sprayer, and I was extremely extremely disappointed! didn't form my car up the way u did it to the hood. it barley spit out the thick layer either. I ended up throwing it away, wht a waste of $80

It is noisy, but not to me compared to say using a leaf blower to dry the car. I use for wheel & tire cleaner so it doesn’t run very long at one time for me.

hopefully they will eventually come out with a cheaper product to compete with the IK Foam Pro E 12. That is definitely overpriced and could be made much cheaper. I think the prices have come down lately and can be had for down to $250, but I think they could be made for under $200 easily.
You could run your own inflator pump with some Velcro straps and do the E Pro 12 setup as low as $160 to $170. Way thing about the E pro though is it auto starts and stops. Not many inflators out there have an auto start they just auto stop. Here is a video I did on it. ruclips.net/video/u6Ci3Qs5_48/видео.htmlsi=a6ny0HGSmUrkYCv9
I bought 3 (so far). 2 of them arrive just today. Once I like something I'll just keep buying it until I lose interest
I am the same way. 🤣
If rinsless would have foamed, I would have been sold. I use IK Foam Pro 12, and DIY rinsless does great in it following your video dilution from a while back. Still solid for those who do normal car wash soap.
You remember that dilution? I think it was 32:1 as a pre-rinse? I’ll try again real quick. This was just 256:1
@CarsWithKeav Yes, your dilution worked amazingly in my IK pro. I looked everywhere for someone to give that dilution, and you saved the day. I screenshot it on your video from awhile back.
I 98% almost always do rinsless only these days. My garage is sealed concrete so no way to use pressure washer in my shop.
Cheap Battery Foamer ($39) raised his price twice since you made this video
I hate when they do that.
Thank you for the vid, interesting product 😅 what would you suggest as a dilution ratio using this sprayer with Brake Buster?
I used brake buster at 5:1 the other night and worked well. Same dilution I use in every product with brake buster.
Hello,
Thanks you for this product review. it makes quite a lot of foam even on a big dilution ration.
I'm now considering buying one.
How's the battery autonomy ? can you spray a normal size sedan with one charge ?
How has its durability/reliability been 8 months after uploading this video ?
Cheers,
P.
I’ve been using one of these for a few months now and they work great, but use a lot of product compared to a spray bottle you spray by hand.
Yes it does use a lot of product which I think is how it foams so well. So it’s one of those never perfect situations. LOL
Perfect little foamer. You don't have to use much product (1 oz) and you don't have to fiddle with portable air compressors. Just fill and spray. The auto on and off function is the real draw
Yeah, I really like it as well. Bottle is not the greatest, but in this price range you’re not going to get everything you want.
The one if the left I got (2) of them. One for myself and one for my son. Mine works great!
Great to hear! Hope you enjoy them!
Something I’ve noticed these bottles do is they expand and compress. Warm water usually helps bring them back to their original form.
@@derangedazrael2615 Good idea. I just noticed mine gained pressure just sitting the the shelf with a little sunlight hitting it.

Is it as loud in person as it appears on camera? Appreciate the video on these two items.
It’s not quiet that’s for sure. About what a small tire inflator sounds like. I just checked 80db at 3 feet.
Looks like a great foamer for the money. Think I'll have to order one.

please please tell if it can be used with water alone? to wash the dirt off the vehicle; thanks in advance!!
Absolutely you can, but won’t be as good as dedicated type sprayer that does just liquid spraying, but it makes this a good dual threat as it comes with the ability to change it to a liquid sprayer that doesn’t foam.
This is why three pronged bottom is used for all carbonated drinks in plastic bottles.
Makes perfect sense.
@@CarsWithKeav actually the four pronged bottom is used for better stability! (As you found out with your three pronged)
@@jfletcher1029 the more prongs the better. Mtn. Dew bottles use 5 I think.

Thank you for your recommendation, I found a more affordable electric foam sprayer.

How do you know when the pump is fully charged?
My light just stays red.
Mine turns green when charged.
So which one is better? The one that costs $36 or the one with a flat bottom that costs $30?
I would not do the flat bottom as it expands under pressure. Not sure that’s good over a length of time. The one with the prongs is more structurally sound in my opinion.
Is that the Orbit 26812 Hose Nozzle you're using?
Yes it is
Don’t store it with air tho that little bottle will continue to grow out at the bottom and round the biotin out. So yeah great video like I said it also fits other bottles but they need to be crush proof.
Thanks for the advice and great info on the durability of this product. I think I might get some kind of silicone or plastic sleeve to fit around the bottom kind of like the FRP spotless tanks have.

I use apump up garden sprayer..works great.
That’s great and those tend to last longer as well. I like my pump IK sprayer as well I just like that I don’t have to pump anymore.
@@CarsWithKeav really appreciate you responding comments, thanks a lot i'll let you know how it goes once the foamer arrives

can you use something like that on an entire car? I ask this bc I dont have a pressure machine and anytime I hook up a form bottle to a garden hoes it never forms up really thick. any suggestions ?
For a garden hose the Gilmour 1-12 oz garden hose foamer is the best you can do to get foam without a pressure washer. It will flow 3x more soap than just about any garden hose foamer. This would do a whole car, but you would have to be very frugal and coverage would not be good without refilling multiple times. I’ll have to give it a try. In testing all it did was relieve built up pressure, but maybe it can do two things. Hope I didn’t overlook something.
I hardly doubt that's usb c, It might be a usb c connector but that doesnt mean that it's a ture usb c charging cability.

It is noisy, but not to me compared to say using a leaf blower to dry the car. I use for wheel & tire cleaner so it doesn’t run very long at one time for me.
I just wondering is this one works with car wax too ? 🤔
If you mean a spray wax I would stick to a sprayer that mists really well. Most liquid wax has no foaming ability for this to spread evenly.
can you foam the entire car with it ??
You for sure could. You would not be able to have a really nice thick layer everywhere due to not having enough soap inside that would be the one factor. Battery is plenty for it. I myself wouldn’t use for the whole car, but it could be done. Just would take a long time.
