    Very cool. If I were to buy a foam sprayer like the IK pro 2 that is $35-40m I probably would not hesitate to spend an extra $20-25 and get the battery unit. The the incremental cost the convenience of not having to hand pump seems to be well worth it if you're just using this for personal use and not all day professional work where the battery would never last long enough.

    I have done this by attaching a tyre valve on a standard foam sprayer being pressurized by a Xiaomi gadget air pump. Very helpful and on a fraction of the cost. A bit weird to the eye though :) and Pan, I've seen that the pressure built is okish for one big panel but it needs some seconds to wait again to build pressure before going to the next. The hood for example when you start it's thick but as the pressure drops the foam is lighter. You'll have to step back for about 10-20 sec and spray the rest. With my set up I see on the pump meter that the pressure drops significantly faster and the pump cannot cop with it unless you wait for a while. Thanks for the review! Great as always.

    • @johndoe6032
      @johndoe6032 Год назад +1

      probably takes longer to build up pressure as the container empties. Still beats hand pumping though.

Then using them giving us your opinion is absolutely fantastic and so nice of you to do for us. Also I agree with you nothing beats a foam cannon, but is a good alternative.

    I am a huge fan of rinseless washing and these would definitely come in very handy, especially not having to constantly squeeze the trigger. The SPTA, while yes it's expensive seems to be a pretty good value actually because of the larger tank if you need more liquid product. Plus the fact you can change between the tips for foaming or regular stream of liquid makes it more useful than the SOLO. I do like the fact the SOLO is smaller though and could be a great sprayer for interior liquids. Both of them look like good unit's and each of them have their place in detailing for sure. Thanks for the review Pan, hope you are well buddy. 😀✌

    I love the convenience of the Solo sprayer for something like a waterless wash in areas like door jambs when a pump sprayer would be too much effort. Call me crazy but I actually don't mind a bit of a work out pumping up and staying fit for my lady using the IK Foam Pro 2! Honestly Pan, I get better Brakebuster foam results than what I observed from the SPTA. For volume, the Marolex Industry Ergo 3000 is a powerhouse for rinse less washes.

    Pan, I have to say the production quality your team puts out is first class. Certainly first in class of the detailing channels. If I am honest I thought these electric sprayers were a bit of a solution looking for a problem. Although, were I to have arthritis in my hands, which I know some do, I would probably fall on them like manna from Heaven. And, the ability to generate foam in a small package will be great for condo and apartment dwellers. I am able to use a pressure washer and foam cannon now though, so I would not have a use for the SPTA. LOL, I know you know me to be frugal, I use two 56oz HDX pump sprayers that cost me $8 each at Home Depot for my wheel/tyre cleaner and spray wax/drying aid so you are probably asking the wrong man about a $75 electric sprayer :-) Doesn't mean I didn't enjoy the video though. Thanks again.

    This vid brings up a topic you might want to look into, Pan.
    When I spray my wheels & tires with Brake Buster either in an iK Foamer (5:1), or a Foam Cannon/Pressure Washer (undilutes), my tires DO NOT "brown" when scrubbing with a Tuff Shine brush! When I spray them with Brake Buster straight out of the bottle sprayer or from an iK Sprayer (no dilution), my tires will drip and scrub brown.
    I think that foaming Brake Buster, it gets too diluted to do a proper cleaning. What do you think?
    I have a Solo Sprayer for my Drying Aid (3D Bead It Up) and love the atomization and adjustable sprayer!
    I just got another Solo sprayer for Brake Buster. It'll be undiluted. Just easier than an iK Sprayer.

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 года назад

      Diluting any product makes it less effective that’s a given. If tires are really dirty, use Brake Buster straight undiluted. If it’s just a regular maintenance cleaning, using it diluted is fine and also more economical.

    I like the Solo, but mine has a fatal flaw. After I've sprayed it (on a wheel, for example), I have to unscrew the top to get it to properly pressurize before I spray the next wheel. In other words, it's unable to keep a constant pressurized state. I definitely do not have this same problem with my Car Supplies Warehouse Electric Sprayer.

    Many Amazon reviews on the SPTA are that it works great the first few times of use but then develops multiple issues. Dang, I thought it was too good to be true.

    These are tempting, but as a DIYer, not worth getting rid of my IK foamer or sprayer. Also, the ratings these get on Amazon are less than great.

      I never rely on Amazon reviews. I like to test for myself. For a first generation battery powered sprayers they’re actually decent. Not ever having to pump is actually great.

    I found that the Solo loses it's effectiveness after 60 seconds straight spraying. It seems to start spitting. To get around that issue I have to open the bottle and decompress the pressure. I tend to do that often. I have two of them with the same issue. Is that something common? Is there no intake valve to relieve the internal pressure?

    The other plus of the foaming would be that you don't get splatter on everything around the car like I do with my pressure washer foam cannon! I'm very excited about the SOLO unit and the price I will be trying one of those. I've been doing this for 40 yrs and while I've had carpal tunnel on both hands I deal with arthritis, and I have a parkinsons like neurological disease attacking my left side and these would be heaven sent! Thanks! Let get more of these on market you brands out there watching!

    So I didn’t want to reply right away in this video I wanted to do some research on that battery operated foam sprayer and it looks like it’s just nothing more than a Chinese product renamed for certain companies suppliers.
    So here’s some of the other names :
    The carbon collection Hydro +
    Foam boss
    BIGBOI foam sprayer
    And no name

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 года назад +2

      Yes that is quite obvious to me too. Many items in the detailing world (and many other sectors) are made by a few manufacturers in China and rebranded/rebadged for other brands worldwide.

    Salut Pan ! Comme toujours une vidéo fantastique et instructive. J'adore une bonne comparaison ou une vidéo de démonstration :) question : quel était le taux de dilution pour le briseur de frein car je n'arrive jamais à le faire mousser comme ça avec mon pulvérisateur HK .. j'ai apparemment envie de mousse... 😁

    • @PanTheOrganizer
      @PanTheOrganizer  2 года назад

      If faut que tu ajustes la dilution en fonction de ton environnement et qualité de ton eau. Dans une pompe spray moussante, je dilues Brake Buster 1:3 ou parfois 1:10 tout dépendant de quelle pompe spray j’utilise.

      Aussi, c’est quoi la marque HK? Est-ce que ta pompe est de type moussante? Car ce ne sont pas toutes les pompes spray qui sont moussantes.
