Bioshock 2 is in some ways the black sheep of the Bioshock franchise. It was developed by 2K Marin instead of irrational Games so it put off a lot of fans from the get go. But the truth is, at least for us, that Bioshock 2 is just as good as the original and as Infinite. It does a wonderful job of capturing that classic Bioshock atmosphere that no one else can duplicate. This version of our game movie was recorded on the PC on the highest settings. It also includes the story DLC, Minerva's Den. We will be doing the Bioshock "Movie" this Sunday, which will include all the Bioshock games and DLC together in one epic video all in chronological order. Minerva's Den does take place during the main story, but it vaguely connects together so we thought it'd be better to have them separated. God hearing and seeing Porter talk to his wife's grave, saying how he can finally say "Goodbye" and move on from this depression/obsession over her was truly heart-wrenching I honestly almost cried because not only of that display but also because many people suffer that way as well. Seeing someone you truly love die before having fantastic experiences with them or knowing you cannot make new ones with them and cling to the bittersweet memories of them. But even worse than all that emotional suffering is actually trying to let go, not to forget them but to stop thinking that you will never love or be happy ever again without them. Once you can finally accept it and move on you can truly live again and be happy while at the same time honoring them and their memories because that is want they would want for you.

That DLC man, it threw me around. Broke my heart into a bunch a little pieces and stomped those pieces. Ugh, such a good game.
Despite the bad press, this game and its DLC is wonderful! Lamb is just as great a villain as Ryan, and plays the extreme Socialist/Collectivist leader very well, not to mention the expert portrayals of Sinclair and Gil' Alexander/Alex the Great. Minerva's Den just feels lovely.
I wouldn't go as far as saying that she was just as good as Ryan. Whenever Ryan said something I wanted to listen and part of me agreed with him. Whenever Lamb talked I wanted her to immediately choke on her own tongue. Perhaps that is the point though since she's the villain and it only motivates you more to finish.

You see, I can never see Ryan as a true villain. I agree with Ryan for the most part, all though I tend to agree with Lamb in the religion debate audio log. I find Lamb's collectivism utterly sicking (although gentically creating a selfless being does peek my scientific curiosity). They're supposed to represent extremes, and because I see Lamb's extreme as worse than Ryan's, I suppose I see her as more of a villain.
Geffory Waterson True. Ryan was more of a tragic villain who actually tried to set your mind free and was your father! Lamb was more of a James Bond villain talking shit on you and the whole I won't you take my daughter so I'll just kill her bit really pissed me off.

I think that's the whole point of her smothering Elanor. Lamb believes her own daughter to be a project, to be not an individual, but a collection of everyone. You ruined that, and so that girl is no longer her daughter. She is a different person, one she has no qualms in taking life from.

Love this so much, i felt a little more attached to Sinclair than the main character. The pain in his voice when Lamb was controlling him :,)
when i had to kill sinclair i almost cried he was an amazing character and he felt special like atlas cuz he had an accent

Bioshock 1 and Infinite are two of my favourite games, but 2 is definitely the best. 1 and infinite have some parts I find tedious, never get that feeling in 2. I have completed it more times than any other recent game.
I was kind of linear infinite was more colorful and confusing at best but I loved it's mechanics . But 2 takes the cake for me. The story seemed personal.
@@jeffreysamson5938 I made the mistake of playing Infinite before the other two, and I immediately assumed nothing could top it, but then I played the others and MAN I was so surprised by the immerse story and creative character plots. For a game that originally came out in 2007 (don't know the date for Bioshock two) I'm surprised at how intricate it is.

To me Bioshock will always be my favourite, purely because of the relationship that it shares between the Big Daadies and the Litlle Sisiters, even if it was because of Mental Reconditioning.
It shows that there still is love and loyalty, even in "mindless" creatures

When I saved the little sister and heard the big sisters screeches, I shat bricks and ran to a circus of values vendy to grab some rivets.... Big sisters screams are horrific. Jesus I hate them at the same time I love them.... why am I so twisted and by the way, Watching this full version of bioshock 2 sends back joyful memories of drilling splicers or using the spear gun on them. Watching them fly is hilarious! Keep up the amazing content you give to us!

She not only took her ADAM, but she also transferred his consciousness into herself, allowing him to live on with her since his body was dying from the trauma of having the pair bond severed earlier. That's why the perspective went through a tunnel vision before changing to hers.
At the end, Delta was gazing through Eleanor's eyes and coexisting with her.
Might become awkward when she gets a boyfriend....
for great games their ending sure are shitty
They should bring all three BioShock games to the 8th-generation consoles with the following features and enhancements:
-all the DLC from all three games
-New Game Plus
-carry over saves from the 7th-generation
-better visuals (native 1080p, higher resolution textures, and etc)
-default 60fps (but still have the option for 30fps)
-and etc
+TRENEX 379 I'd like that, would be nice.

I know but what is taking 2K so long to give us this. I started playing this series back in July 2014 and I greatly enjoyed it on the XBOX 360. I had digital copies of the three games on that console. I currently own a XBOX ONE (I sold my XBOX 360) and we're supposed to get the BioShock series through backwards compatibility but it has yet to come. I never purchased any of the non-free DLC for any of these games. So it might be best to buy a remastered bundle with all it's content for $60. I don't know, it's just a thought.
TRENEX 379 There is also always the change of bad "remastering" *cough silent hill cough* or lazy ones *cough Dishonored other unconvincing cough*. The BioShock series deserve to be treated with respect. Hope you get the change to play the dlc for 2 and infinite, there pretty good (Minerva's den is even better than the main BioShock 2 story in my opinion). Of course there is always the option on getting a decent pc that handle those games on full settings, I may do that in the future. But for now, I stick to consoles cause that's just how I like it (and a bit less hassle in my opnion).

Quality PC gaming is financially straining and I'm used to console gaming. So I'll just stick with my console for now.
I actually bought a digital copy of Dishonored: Definitive Edition for $20 instead of $40 (I got a 50% discount for owning/playing the original). It could have been a better remaster but it felt like a solid buy for $20. It's visually superior with all the DLC but it still runs at 30fps. I don't know why they couldn't make it run at 60fps. But Dishonored is a slow-paced game so it's not all that serious. But it is annoying, was it out of laziness and/or they didn't want to put in the money?
I owned the original digitally on the XBOX 360 and I bought all it's DLC except for Void Walker's Arsenal. For the 7th-generation version of Dishonored I unlocked 71/80 achievements (1455/1640 gamerscore) for it. I was basically missing nine achievements for the Dunwall City Trials DLC. Now for Dishonored: Definitive Edition I unlocked 72/80 achievements (1485/1640 gamerscore) for it. I was missing eight achievements for the Dunwall City Trials.
You're totally right, the BioShock series needs to be treated with respect. It needs to be remastered properly. I'm not saying it needs to have a remaster on the level of the first two installments for Halo (even though that would be nice). The visuals and audio need to be enhanced at a considerable level.

Yeah, I'm fairly positive Dishonored shouldn't had any trouble hitting 60fpson currrent consoles. I've played it on ps3 myself and it ran without a hitch at regular 30fps, so I'm calling laziness on this "definitive" edition.
1080p, 60fps, DLC included, no port glitches would be good enough for me for a Bioshock series remaster. Though some extra polishing would always be nice.

...these 'and not her stepdaddy' complexes and issues tend to look quite different on other plattforms than YT and they normaly last five up to 30 minutes, not three hours. At least the drill is equally big. ;) But the mood Rapture creates is fantastic. Remembered the game after watching City of Ember and clicked a little around within.
The sensitivity is set WAY too high for "movie gameplay." You'll get more control out of an xbox controller without all of the carpal tunnel twitchiness you get from a mouse. It'd be easier on the eyes.

This is seriously my favorite Bioshock game, closesly followed after by Infinite, which is also amazing, though I felt that Bioshock 1 was kinda...Meh, the storyline was great but everything else didn't feel very...Good.

Y'know... As much as I love watching 2 and playing Infinite, I'm kind of sad/upset that they didn't have any final bosses like the first installment of the series did. Final bosses almost always make the climaxes of the games really good.

y`know, whenever I kill a big daddy in bioshock, I feel bad.
because all the big daddy's trying to do is to protect his daughter/little sister, but everyone wants to kill big daddy, but without big daddy, little sister is completely hopeless, she'll get killed! so, big daddy is like a anti superhero, hes bad on one side, but on the other, hes kind and caring, and he takes care of the little sisters.
so, in bioshock one, your character is kinda the villain/good guy.
I also finished bioshock infinite. I think I kinda got the big puzzle mystery at the end figured out, at least a little bit. ; )
Actually killing a Big Daddy is only putting them out of their miserable existence. No free will of their own and brainwashed to do the same task again and again for eternity.

Why does the audio keep muting? Is it a copyright thing? The whole point of watching the cutscenes, for me, was to get the whole content. The first few times it happened, I was almost certain my headset was failing, so I changed plugs and everything.

Big daddies are just regular males put into suits....genetically altered to be stronger and faster and hold a bond of a father and daughter.....the same bond that songbird and Elizabeth(except no one really knows what songbird is) they said he was made from a different dimension so a mixture from bioshock 1 rapture and somewhere else......I would really like to know but some things are better left a mystery
