@@slightlyistorical1776 who’s to say Columbia never advanced? And if they did, they would’ve had a big head start on the rest of the US, what with having cyborgs, gene therapy and robots in 1912
The ending of this game got me thinking. Rapture was a symbol of laissez-faire, a society where the elite had absolutely no regulation. Columbia was based on religious fanaticism and American exceptionalism. If a version of Rapture exists in every world in the Bioshock multiverse, there's bound to be a reality that's close to our own. If there is one, what would it look like? What would it symbolize? How would it fall apart? Why was it created?

I mean, I understand why people say that this doesn't work as a prequel. But, the game was actually an experience to treasure. I could feel Elizabeth's innocence die and rot as reality itself was shaped according to her perspective of the world. Even the bond between her and Booker was believable, it was like that of a Big Daddy and his Little Sister. The game might not follow the horror atmosphere, but overall, it seems to respect the saga's main ideas. That this world values children, not childhood. And that whatever big ideas we might have to change the world, in the end, we can't deny our real nature. We should always stive to become better, of course, but one single person imposing the change and simply having followers, not partners, isn't enough.
such an amazing world and graphic, felt like final fantasy, but when the shooting started, gosh, ruined the whole world, so thanks for being able to just watch the game movie here!

I loved this game the moment I played it. The story was good (mostly, there are some bad parts) and the environment was so rich and beautiful. It’s a shame it ended the way that it did
I think each game is good, and brings something to the table each time. Bioshock 1 has the horror theme and the best villains. (I'm sorry, but Andrew Ryan and Fontaine beat Sofia Lamb and Comstock 9/10) Despite each game bringing a good story, 2 has the best one and is the most tragic. 2 also has Subject Delta, who has got to be one of the best silent protagonists in gaming. Infinite's themes about parallel universes are a cool idea. Plus they make way for a whole bunch of possible settings for games. The city of Columbia and its themes of American exceptionalism and religious fanaticism resound me better, particularly that first one due to a whole bunch of morons on top and in civilian life. Also the gameplay is fun, and Undertow is just straight up awesome. All in all, a memorable franchise that deserves to be up there with the gaming greats. I'd love to see another Bioshock. Maybe one starring on a different planet built by a certain billionaire?
Personally 2's story felt a little weak, it's a brainwashed guy trying to find his "daughter", with ! and Infinite you don't know what's going on and you slowly have to piece it together
@@quartzskull8772alright that's fair point. By the way, I noticed that Infinite and 2 actually have similar themes of choice and fathers and daughters.

I remember my first time i played this game, the only purpose i wanted to play this game because i'm FPS player, and turned out I enjoyed the story they created instead of the gameplay.. I finished this in single run back when i was studying in my university, when it was finished i started questioning my existence, i felt my life was empty.. didn't even think that they were Father and Daughter, i was hoping something romantic on that moment. I couldn't understand the whole story eventho I played it for 13 times. Now I'm an adult and don't have time to play this game like used to do.. I miss when I played this amazing game for the first time.
Tragic ending but you gotta do what you gotta do. If Booker DeWitt continues living, he will become Father Comstock and all the things he'd been through will happen again.
I find it interesting the kinda stuff this game tackles... The idea that in one timeline, you could very well end up dead and buried, and in another, you're still very much alive, or perhaps you're completely different from how you are now... In one world, a calm-minded individual, and in another, a violent psychopath. One side, alive, the other, dead.

I like infinite better but bioshock 1 is great to tho
Blue Demon06 I agree but without infinite there would be no bioshock 1
I love bioshock so much. And out of all of the bioshocks I would choose bioshock 2 because it was soo fun being big daddy.
What a game
I'll never comprehend its lore
A wild ride like no other in gaming history
This whole game is a giant mindf***
I like how they go to rapture from bioshock 1 and 2 lol
such an amazing world and graphic, felt like final fantasy, but when the shooting started, gosh, ruined the whole world, so thanks for being able to just watch the game movie here!
One day I will rent a cinema for a day to play this great game again but with my kids) thank you for uploading this!
So this girl technically Rapunzel with no long hair and a different power that’s what I’m getting
Great editing!! I beat it when it came out, but started it again on Switch. Don’t have time or interest to finish off (2/3 in) so I just watched this. Perfect
Knowing that is was Robert who crossed over and wanted to save Elizabeth and Booker even after becoming omnipotent makes alot of what he says and his snarky remarks to his sister alot better and makes him more human
Here is your 500th like. Keep doing high quality well-detailed story videos!
Also, here is no after credits scene with Booker and the baby.
Man this story really tugged my heartstrings but Burial at Sea shattered it completely. What a series!
The DLC made me heartbroken
WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT!! BEST STORY EVER!! my jaw dropped twice holy hell

At 2:20:45 you can see a sign that says “New For 1984” nice nod to George Orwell’s 1984 book 😊

When you hear songbird ENEMY AC130 ABOVE
This ending is the greatest MINDFUCK! EVER! Great story, Great Game and Elizabeth fantastic.
I just going to say this should be a awesome movie.
Man that was a great chapter of Bioshock
If the flash and Elizabeth met up, the entire fucking multiverse would be destroyed.
The man at 35:11 is me in this universe
Is this a pedophilia joke or something else cause I’m freaking stupid
Great video. Well done.
1:01:27 1:47:24 I love how the Motorized Patriot is now on your side
Ad timing sometimes I swear
DeWitt: what do you want Fink?
Ad: THE TOASTED CHEDDAR CHALUPA FROM TACO BELL.
Me: *trying to restrain laughter because my roommates are asleep*
Bioshock infinite is definitely my favorite video game ever
My favorite vigor is Murder of Crows
Mine’s Bucking Bronco
I loved this game the moment I played it. The story was good (mostly, there are some bad parts) and the environment was so rich and beautiful. It’s a shame it ended the way that it did
I think each game is good, and brings something to the table each time.
Bioshock 1 has the horror theme and the best villains. (I'm sorry, but Andrew Ryan and Fontaine beat Sofia Lamb and Comstock 9/10)
Despite each game bringing a good story, 2 has the best one and is the most tragic.

Awesome, I hope you don't mind if I use some of these clips in a fanvideo, I'll give a link to your channel in the bio for my video! You're the only person on here whose done a complete movie version of all BSI and BAS.
Played it two weeks ago. My mind is still disoriented.
Game, where? This is a mindblowing movie! Always gives me chills hahaahah
Need more games with stories like this. This shit is badass!
This game has the most mind bending plot ever.
This looks very fun also this reminds me of fallout
Bioshock 2 And this game are so goated
Love you for this
