    Like watching a Masterclass within a reasonable time frame. Toward the end it looked like you were painting with ice water on the pathway.

    Congrats getting over that 1000 subscriber count Colin! Hopefully that will help your work show up more on individual searches. I like your barn scene - would be great for you to do more of those, and also some of the "Bob Ross" types as well. Thanks and have a great week.

    In many of your videos, you mix 3, 4, 5 and more colors without getting "mud." I wish that you would make a video on how you mix your colors. Thanks, again.

      Hi dutch,in nearly all cases that contain more than two colours the amount of colour used is tiny amounts (and i do mean tiny lol) just enough to give a colour shift lets say from a brown to a red brown and then add a tiny amount of blue just to darken it if you need a darker red brown,its all a matter of practice dutch

    How would you add snow on to the trees, masking fluid?

    • @colinwalters5281
      @colinwalters5281  5 лет назад

      Yes you can do it that way just remember to soften the edges in when you take the masking fluid off

    Can someone tell me what kind of brush was used to paint the big tree leaves? Thank you!

    • @colinwalters5281
      @colinwalters5281  5 лет назад +1

      Hi Millie,I used a rigger brush for the detail in the tops of the trees and then used a medium size mop brush for the main parts of the trees.Both these brushes are mentioned in the video,hope that helps Millie

      Thank you Mr. Walters. I started painting only a month ago, basically by following the RUclips videos, so I am not familiar with the color or the type of brush. Last night I managed to paint this one and got so much compliments, I am so excited. I know I can make big improvements if I have the right brush. Thank you so much my online teacher, you are awesome!
