Nice one Colin 👍🏻 many years ago Bob Ross sparked my interest in painting, although I always seemed to fall asleep before the end of the programs.......😊it was due to his relaxing voice and the sound of the stippling brush 😴💤........lol......thanks for the demo .

Thank you Colin! I have watched this video several times trying to soak in all that you do! I even watched once just to write down the colors and color mixes! So I have finally finished (I may still make an adjustment or two) this painting and although it is not your quality, it is probably my best painting so far! All because of you!! I started painting in January this year and you are really helping me to progress! I may even do this one again just to see if I can get it just right! Thank you again and again! And you are cute!!

Colin, could you make a video on how you mix your colors? I'm a newbie and when I mix more than 3 colors I get mud. Thank you.
It is true when mixing more than two colours you are heading for mud or a brown,the trick is to get your main colour you are after as close as you can without it knocking your eyes out,then adjust its tone with a third colour.When adding the third colour you need to use tiny amounts you will be surprised at how small the amount is you use to adjust the green,hope that helps.I will make a video in the future that shows how to tackle mixing greens

Colin, do you use paint straight from the tube or pans, or dried on a palette ?
I use them from a tube squeeze them out into my palette and allow to dry

Really struggling to get the mountains as you do at 7:00 onwards - any advice on how you paint the rocks?
Hi Emily,Try to put as little paint on your brush as you can ,wipe the brush nearly dry and do a tiny bit at a time .shape your mountains with the direction of the brush strokes and hold the brush so its almost on its side and not the tip, as you get used to it you will get faster
