The nicest thing about Bob Ross's teachings is that he does not overcomplicate the process with very little details, which can make non-artists understand easier when it comes to making their own painting. Sure his paintings looked detailed, but in reality they are all random strokes in harmony.

This is my first time watching Bob Ross and... I think I'm platonically in love and utterly fascinated. As an art student, this is filled to the brim with fantastic lessons and techniques some explicit, some implicit. If any artists are like me and feeling stuck on things like simplification, environmental design, and developing their process in general... this man will guide you through it with infinite optimism. Im hooked, to say the least.
He’s such a gentle soul. I just watched a documentary about him. There’s is truly not a mean bone in this man. He was not greedy, not unkind, he truly just wants to show the world that anyone can paint. I couldn’t help from tearing up when his son was talking about him in his death bed. I wish he didn’t have to suffer from his cancer. He was such a legend and will always be missed by the world.

This is my first time watching Bob Ross and this dude just blew my mind for 25 minutes. I can’t even draw a stick figure so any good painter will impress me, but it’s the way he describes and loves every little inch of his creation is what is so amazing to me. Inspiring

I don’t tend to like drawing or any other artistic creations, I don’t whether it’s how calm and relaxing his shows are or the way he paints but it makes me want to paint lol

If any artists are like me and feeling stuck on things like simplification, environmental design, and developing their process in general... this man will guide you through it with infinite optimism.

He’s such a gentle soul. I just watched a documentary about him. There’s is truly not a mean bone in this man. He was not greedy, not unkind, he truly just wants to show the world that anyone can paint. I couldn’t help from tearing up when his son was talking about him in his death bed. I wish he didn’t have to suffer from his cancer. He was such a legend and will always be missed by the world.

4000 people decide they don’t like a relaxing video, involving one of the kindest, most genuine souls that ever set foot on earth, and actual good art being made. I just can’t comprehend who comes onto this video and decides it would be worth their time to dislike it. Sorry for ranting, just my opinion.
