I'm thankful that in the whole history of mankind, I existed at the same time as Bob Ross. The man was such a kind and gentle soul. Thank you Bob for all the gifts you have given us, you will never be forgotten. RIP
I’ve been struggling with a lot of depression and insomnia lately so I like to put these videos on they bring me peace and for a moment I feel like I can escape into his beautiful paintings and sometimes drift asleep to the sound of his voice
It’s often noted that in the majority of Bob’s paintings, there are few signs of human interaction with nature. And if there is, it’s often shown as old or unoccupied: a house with a chimney but no smoke or something similar. It’s interesting that in a winter landscape, he paints a cabin with light….someone’s home. Bob loved the Alaskan wilderness, and this particular painting could be from Alaska very easily. He doesn’t just see that as someone’s home, he sees that as his home in the place he loved.
These videos are helping me work through my depression. Thank you to whoever runs Bob’s channel and posted all of these. It means a lot to me to hear his voice…
There was only one Bob Ross and there will never be another artist like him. Truly one of a kind and an amazing soul sent as a gift from God to entertain us all and give us a different perspective on life.
Glad that i can watch these masterpieces being created without any interruption for commercials. Just nonstop listening to Bob Ross's calm and sedative voice. Thank you RUclips, for shutting down monetization in Russia. And biggest thanks to Bob himself, his art is a timeless blessing for the people of Earth!
Beautiful man. I just love listening to the warm timbres of his voice. He's effortlessly talented. Voice, humour, painting, he was the complete package.
Peoples looking for peace music, peace meditation videos, all kind grey noise tbc, but I just listen and watch Bob Ross and feel calm and relaxed, and motivated... this is awesome! This man is legend !
I actually fell asleep during this and had to rewind five minuets, his voice is so soothing, I can't help it! RIP probably one of the greatest painters in the last 55 years.
I’ve recently recovered from my addictions and to help me sleep, I listen to his videos. And I’m new to his videos, if I’d known him before I feel I would’ve had alot more peace with myself. He really does speak great wisdom
I just love the stories he creates with each painting! “This farmer’s got a big old barn out here. It’s been a tough winter for this barn. The cow was having a bad day and he broke the fence railing.” Pure Gold!! This man was a gift from Heaven, I think if Jesus had a close cousin, it was Bob Ross!
I’d like to think that Bob is sitting on a fluffy old cloud somewhere in the sky looking down on us and chuckling to himself at the pure joy he left us with his wonderful show❤️still here in 2024 ❤
It's sad what happened to him at the end. I wondered why I never heard he had died. I loved watching him after school. I was amazed at how fast he could paint. As a teen I laughed at his afro but I know now what a beautiful soul he was. He loved that afro! He wouldn't be Bob without it. 😊 What an amazing artist and man. Everyone loved him and still does.
This is actually my favorite episode. I love at the 12:46 mark when he puts twigs on there. The scratching actually sounds pleasant. And a few minutes later when he puts lights in the cabin and says, "zoop!"
...wrong artist to compare him to. da vinci's art was masterful and took _time_. he and his contemporaries are known for spending years on spectacular pieces. you can't put bob ross on da vinci's level. it's so disrespectful. you wouldn't equate picasso and michelangelo, the styles are so different! just so, you can't compare the intricate portraits of leonardo da vinci to the sweet but simple landscapes of bob ross.
da vinci, michelangelo, etc can’t be compared to. they took months and years and worked in an era where artists weren’t that wealthy and didn’t have a lot of special tools or paint thinner. imagine being suspended in the air to paint the 65 foot sistine chapel ceiling alone - furthermore, he created the 'Pieta' statue at 25 and David at 26. absurd comparison
What a great human being he was , I am watching him in 2024 . God gave Bob Ross to humanity to teach the learner’s like me the fun of painting otherwise nowadays it costs a bomb to join any painting class.
Bob Ross was not an artist that changed the world of art, but that was never his intention. He wanted to show people "The Joy of Painting" and that art is, to some suppose to make you happy and showed people a style where even they could make something they could be proud of. You see many artists getting stressed out or being so uptight and anal. They could learn something from Bob and his carefree attitude soft attitude.
Terrix Bob Ross actually did change the art world. He showed people that you could paint just for fun, without it needing to be more than that and he gave a lot of people the courage to pick up a paintbrush. I would say that's changing.
Terrix he was the one who got me back into painting and to take my time. Improving myself and only to use my imagination to paint. Sadly freelance artists have to be uptight with their work as their skill correlates to their income.
Everyone needs a quiet 30 minutes with Bob Ross every day.

I love him when he laughs after cleaning the brush ... !
I miss him *so badly* . =( How can one man be such an artist genius? And have such a calming voice. ♡
He found peace within himself. Then he tried to give that to ALL. 😇
Ever since I started watching these videos, I see the world so differently... in colors.
I use to stop painting, take lunch and watch him on TV. My customers continued watching him after I was done,I even went to a few classes,RIP MY FRIEND
Bob Ross is like a stress relieve for me.
Every time people do anything artsy is the most relaxing and fulfilling activity that we can do!!! Thank god for art!!!!!!!
Beautiful man. I just love listening to the warm timbres of his voice. He's effortlessly talented. Voice, humour, painting, he was the complete package.
Only Bob Ross would tell you to sniff chemicals in a bucket.
Hahaha...did u know he used to be a general in the army.
Carson Keyes Blatant lie but ok
Pulse Spear no it's true. look it up.
As the other guy said, Master Sergeant. In the Air Force.
I was so looking for this comment!!!

I actually fell asleep during this and had to rewind five minuets, his voice is so soothing, I can't help it!
RIP probably one of the greatest painters in the last 55 years.
When I was a child, I watched Bob Ross create his art early mornings on weekends. I’m 73 now ❣️
Bob Ross would have been 82 this year, so he was only 8 or 9 years older than you. I'm sorry to say your statement doesn't make sense.
jgee could have been 17 when Bob Ross was 28
I’ve recently recovered from my addictions and to help me sleep, I listen to his videos. And I’m new to his videos, if I’d known him before I feel I would’ve had alot more peace with myself. He really does speak great wisdom
Congratulations! That is great news
😂😂😂I love this
His mind could shine in any generation!!! What a treasure
I love the black canvases. Bob is such a great teacher, beyond the grave. A true legend
I needed my daily liquid Hwite
+Maxneige OMG how do I keep finding you on every video?!?!? I love Bob Ross too!
I am more of a titanium Hwite guy myself. xD
Wonder if the 420 likes you got will stay at 420. Pls internet.
The Super Q
I prefer the Midnight Lback myself...HA
This man is in Heaven.
Ok
He is
He sadly died of Isompha (A type of cancer) and is now in heaven
I’d like to think that Bob is sitting on a fluffy old cloud somewhere in the sky looking down on us and chuckling to himself at the pure joy he left us with his wonderful show❤️still here in 2024 ❤
It's sad what happened to him at the end. I wondered why I never heard he had died. I loved watching him after school. I was amazed at how fast he could paint. As a teen I laughed at his afro but I know now what a beautiful soul he was. He loved that afro! He wouldn't be Bob without it. 😊 What an amazing artist and man. Everyone loved him and still does.
I never understood How can people dislike Bob Ross videos? They are relaxing and peaceful ☮️
This is actually my favorite episode. I love at the 12:46 mark when he puts twigs on there. The scratching actually sounds pleasant. And a few minutes later when he puts lights in the cabin and says, "zoop!"
Commenting to bring you back to your favorite episode
After the end of painting I felt like I was in that house, drinking a cup of coffee sitting in front of a sort of fireplace, just relaxing..
The man was the Leonardo of our era.
If you think not, I challenge you to paint so well in so short a time.
...wrong artist to compare him to. da vinci's art was masterful and took _time_. he and his contemporaries are known for spending years on spectacular pieces. you can't put bob ross on da vinci's level. it's so disrespectful. you wouldn't equate picasso and michelangelo, the styles are so different! just so, you can't compare the intricate portraits of leonardo da vinci to the sweet but simple landscapes of bob ross.
da vinci, michelangelo, etc can’t be compared to. they took months and years and worked in an era where artists weren’t that wealthy and didn’t have a lot of special tools or paint thinner.
imagine being suspended in the air to paint the 65 foot sistine chapel ceiling alone - furthermore, he created the 'Pieta' statue at 25 and David at 26.
absurd comparison
Well thanks for writing a novel
Terrix he is reasons I take art class
@@tylercarlson1634 Bob Ross inspired me to write novels.
Terrix he was the one who got me back into painting and to take my time. Improving myself and only to use my imagination to paint. Sadly freelance artists have to be uptight with their work as their skill correlates to their income.
My art teacher made the class do a Bob Ross Bingo game. This was the video. Love this man. He was too pure for the world.
I remember watching this when he originally painted it. It was always one of my favorites of his paintings.
I love this man so much. It such a shame he passed so soon. I pray i meet him some day in the afterlife. :)
