Watching his videos now that I am older it’s teaching me to not be afraid to forget what you have created before. SAME. I got into painting like this just a few days ago. The first thing I did with following the tutorials was a square canvas with four like... 10x10cm? 12x12cm? smaller square pictures on it. Each one from a different tutorial. And even tho they're so small I spent much more time on each of them 'cuz I was keep pausing, rewinding, looking for the right mix of the colors, drying my brushes, etc. They may be just happy little accidents with way less details but apparently they're enough for others to say "Wow :0" xD
