Enjoy your videos Hank. Yours and Tony's Tractors are my 'go-to channels' when I have questions about my '23 TYM T474HST. I too added a grapple to my T474H, first time use, a tree branch broke the black PLASTIC hood intake air vent! Watched your video, and ordered a BLACK grille guard from Travis/Chris at Homestead Implements. (I prefer BLACK implements and add-ons to my tractor for the ease of paint touch-ups instead of the the 'hard to match' TYM RED color.) Homestead had no problem powder coating a TYM#1 grille BLACK for me at no extra charge. The great price, military discount and free shipping sealed the deal for me. Good guys to work with!!! Thanks again for the videos/info! -Jack in North Central Florida
Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. Your new grill guard looks awesome Hank. The H is for Hank. Not bad at all to install. Was fairly easy. Thanks for showing us. The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
Thanks for posting this particular video, I've been trying to outfit my tractor as "economically" as possible. I've seen several a limited quantity of grille guards for the T474 which I noticed on their website doesn't list. I think of the other ones I've looked at list the same guards for both T474 and T574 . Seeing you install this, the camera angle pointed out that they may indeed be the same brush guard, as both your headlights and chrome hood ornament/ logo are above the guards top bar, whereas on the T474 both are snuggled behind the guard. Your tractor looks like it's wearing it's mask below its nose. I'm glad that my model is covered better, and understand that just like many large corporations, where they all used the same vendor for the push in cigarette lighter core for all the GM models for the Geo meteo to the Cadillac Fleetwood. But your tractor has a lot of meat hanging out there to be stabbed in by stray branches. I also learned that the brush guard is apparently part of the loader package, as it didn't appear on the tractor 3D image until i added the loader on the TYM website and isn't offered as a stand alone option.
I have to agree with another commenter about really short grill guard. Might be nice not to interfere with headlights, but still awful short to protect lights or top of grill. Plus can’t say that I particularly like the grill guard tightening handle things. I’m probably a little biased because I like my Kioti ck2610 grill guard better. Taller and easy to tilt down. Anyway, nice DIY video.
I use my kubota mitigating deadfalls. I have a grill guard from 5eleven that wraps around the front. It’s saved me a few times when a 3 or 4 inch limb rammed through the fork back guard. Good vid
I just bought the ck 4020 an told my wife I should get a grill guard an she said u don't need that well I stuck I branch thou it now I'm going to my own I was thinking the same thing but weld it all in nice video awesome look

You were the first one to draw my attention to Homestead implements and attachments. I am thrilled that they have the grill for the TYM.
Nice!

Try putting a heavy duty brush guard like the loggers use on their tractors.

Still have to be careful you don’t damage the headlights, thanks for the video
For sure

Hank notch the bottom of your guard and put your d ring back on very simple solution
Yeah I’ll probably end up doing that…. But it was just too pretty with that fresh paint on it 😂
