I bought an RK55 (TYM) from Rural King Dothan and currently need a 1000 hour service. Rural King was good until this year. They did all my recommended services and I highly recommended them to friends. Now, they let me down…tried to scheduled the 1000 hr service…after several weeks still waiting for an appointment. Ordered a fuel cap weeks ago, still waiting. In my opinion, find a TYM dealer and buy from them. You may pay more, but you can get parts and service.
A rear accessible creep option would be awesome! I think there are plenty of ways TYM could/should actually go beyond what JD and Kubota do though, and make them start working to catch up to TYM. I'd love to have a needle control valve on each of the rear remotes that I can control in the cab. That would give me more precision for implements like my ditch bank flail mower. I'd also love a way to turn the detent on a rear remote on and off, without having to break it apart and remove the detent balls/spring. Sometimes you want detent, sometimes you don't.
Have your windows tinted, a lot of equipment have had it done. I also noticed that and I think anything with windows is that the glass needs to be properly cleaned. I'm sure you can buy just a sun visor. Another thing that Kubota still does is use halogen lights.
The floor in your cab looks like mine, tools, chains, etc. I wish TYM would including a tool box someplace on the tractor for these must have items to keep with you.
Hey Hank , You remember AMC vehicles, they was a mixture of ford, dodge and others mixed together in one. Not sure whether the was a trademark or copyright issue but they had the best of everything and parts was interchangeable. So could TYM do the same?
Hank:Hamilton This is Don Hamilton (do you reckon we might be distant cousins, from Seguin, Texas. I know you're retired USAF, I'm retired USN. What did you do in the Air Force?
I'll bet tym can do that. Maybe they cut the lift capacity and a few other things that tym does and raise the orice about 10000 and they would be more like a john deere or kubota
I have noticed lately that “GoodWorks Tractors” has been bragging up the Kioti tractors big time. Yup, he has mostly liked JD and Kubota in the past, but is finally realizing that Kioti offers a lot of bang for the buck. Plus Kioti has been around for sometime now. Anyway Hank, you know a bit about Kioti from one of your old friends…
There's many tractors out there that don't require that now. My T754 doesn't. My Mahindra was a good tractor and I liked it, but I like the TYM way better after having for 5 years now. 👍

Thanks for the honest review. Looking forward to update review on how it’s doing and any failures you may have had.
The creep option would be great for what you're talking about. You might look into there being a aftermarket option.
Great video, God Bless
Right on
a lil air on the sisters is always a good thing! love that lower ball air feature on them there KU-BOATERS!

Great ideas 👍
That grass doesnt look like it even need mowed
You have the tractor I want….and I agree with your suggestions.
I love mine
Wheel spacers would really be nice a few times you get a little pucker . We have a lot of hills here in KY and these things are not safe on hills,

I'm seriously considering tinting my windows. My cousin did his tractor and loves it.
TYM also needs a tym punched cutting edge for bucket! did you ever try to drill hardened steel! works great

That would be cool

I did most of my time as an Air Battle Manager flying on the E-8C. Us Hamilton's are usually good people :)
@@hhamilton1970 I agree, most are. Do you know if any of your Hamilton ancestors came from Tenessee (Polk County)?

The 4 series has that, I have two 4R 4044R tractors, they work great!
Is that a 8 in jubilee Ford from Gary

Yeah, they are nice tractors. I like them
Is TYMs paint any better than Bransons my 6530 only has 800 hours on it and the paint looks really really bad already
Better than Mahindra for sure!
You used to own Mahindra tractors , what I think is good about them is they made tractors that don't need Regen .

It’s called “Hitch Assist”
Nice! I bet it is awesome
Sounds like you should have bought a deere or kubota.
