I struggled with finding a full warm up routine for a while now as many videos are all about 5 min hip and leg stretches and I really wanted to do a proper full body stretch before I start on my workout routine. After trying this, it made me realize that all those years without doing any exercises took a toll on me. This warm up became the workout for me and my bones are cracking, lmao. Hopefully, slowly and surely I can turn this into an actual warm up for me.
The greatest thing about this exercise is that it is pretty well ordered.. Start from neck.. then shoulders.. then hand.. belly.. so on. I add meditation for 15 min before starting it.. and It becomes a complete package.
Me and my kid do these sessions together , it is an amazing way to bond with your child and inculcate exercise habits in them. Only if there was a love button !

@@Daniela3969 if people have the discipline to do it anyways, theyre already doing great! i personally find this one to be extremely easy as well but no matter how easy is it as long as someone is doing it then theyre succeeding.

My brain literally won't let me do opposite arm circles lol. I lock up in confusion every time haha Edit: Eventually you will get it. Make sure to start slow and work your speed up as time goes on. It also helps if you hold your arms out and rotate them one at a time in opposite directions until you’re ready to try the exercise for real
What worked for me was reaching both arms up and then start slowly circling in opposite direction. When it gets out of hands and brain gets confused, I reach up and start again.

I really like this warmup. I’ve been using it as a entry level, short workout though in an somewhat abbreviated version. The low intensity made it possible for me to then do it every day, which really helped to build a routine. I’ve been doing this for more then one year now and my flexibility has increased a lot in all of these stretches, which made me very happy. Now since a view months ago, i also use it in its intended way as a warmup for a somewhat mire advanced workout, which i now also try to do regularly. The familiarity with the warmup thereby made it a lot easier, to attach a workout to it, because I didn’t need to build a habit, but only extend an existing one. Doing these movements for so long, made me learn to like them and now I really enjoy going trough it. I also use it for relaxation and when I feel like I would like some movement after sitting a lot. So, really thanks for making the video Rowan!

Then I’ll start my either calisthenics or athletic workouts next month. Do you have any suggestions for beginner like me? Thanks dude, your warmup is really perfect for me, it's neither top easy nor too hard on me, works perfectly to help me avoid injuries. So far I have come down to 83.5 from 86.5 kg after a month edit: now I'm at 82Kg
Before going to the gym for workout I watch this video and simultaneously do dynamic stretches. This pre workout exercise has been very much helpful and effective 💪😃👍
