I talked a LOT this video and broke a lot of stuff down but the TL;DR version is SBMM is being manipulated by more of the playerbase than ever before. Between outright cheating, to two boxxing, to VPNs to people just fucking quitting the franchise entirely I have never seen so much pushback on this system before, and I back that up with data and examples I collected in this video. If you're still dealing with SBMM and are losing your mind, do one of these things I listed above; they're all simple and they all work. With what I've seen with Black Ops 6 and Warzone the majority (or near majority) of the playerbase are already doing it. Don't stress yourself out playing cheaters in higher skill brackets and getting shadow banned. There's a solution. Feels good that after 5 years we not only got them to admit SBMM was a thing, but now that everyone knows it's a thing it no longer works and the playerbase is doing all they can to manipulate it. If that was the case you wouldn't have to 2box just have a friend that sucks and join their lobbies because the 2nd console none moving player will get kicked for in activity. It's the people with the TikTok brain rot who cannot handle dying and need to be ego-fed by their protected bracket. I rmb, when I was younger, my mom won an Xbox One console (W mom), and the first game I bought was Black Ops 3. I knew nothing much about COD back then, but I just kept playing. In every multiplayer game, I went an average of 0.1kd, but at the end of the day, I was always having fun and constantly willing to learn to improve. I do not need SBMM at all even when i was the shittiest player every single lobby
Same here when I use to play MW the original. Use to get shit on but finally learned and developed my own playstyle that worked and eventually I was going positive and having even MORE fun. It blows my mind this is life now….where we protect people who are trash at video games. NBA2k now has skill based matchmaking and it’s insanity….
I just don’t play anymore. I have only missed like two cods. I’m done with the entire franchise. Tired of them releasing a bad game and working on it for six months and starting over again.
I am the same, after BO2, CoD games are just pretty bad. Advance warfare and BO3 were ok at best, but that was no longer playing Cod but something else.
Im out since ghosts, testen MW19 but its rigged or so inconsistent that i believe its rigged so im out again... they lost me on ghosts because they said "All New CoD"...New Engine New anything but just lies and never got sued for their illegal actions
It’s a click bait title the system is still in the game. He is saying the community is collectively cheating, using vpn’s, or 2 boxing to circumvent the system. The fact the players are aware of its existence makes them not conform to it and essentially making the system not work as intended.
I used both a VPN and 2-boxing for the first time today. I haven’t had more fun with a modern cod in the last 5 years. No packet loss, variety of skill levels, pub stomping lobbies. It’s not even the same game.
For those asking if this is true....yes and no. In CoD it is still there. In Xdefiant it is not. However, I have noticed a lesser amount in CoD recently. My advice. Load up Xdefiant a few more times than you do. Saturate those numbers a bit. Its a fun game. It has issues, but thats just gaming now unfortunately. I wish we could just get a full game like the old days. But, Xdefiant is at least fun. A buddy of mine and I play it and just slam lobbies and then get tough lobbies and in between lobbies. We always feel like we have a chance to win. CoD has felt like, we get rigged lobbies and if we do too good we're about seven seconds from having people drop out and then having Jesus of CoD humself come in there and remind us who dad is. Just let the games happen. Thats how old CoD was. You just had no idea who you were facing the next match unless yall stayed in the same lobby for 8 games...which i also miss. That's how you met other gamers.
There is a fifth option: quit the game and never play it again. I've done that, and I'm glad we found a way around it. This bs shouldn't be in the game in the first place. However, we find ways around it, good stuff BT.
Here to add to statistics, I had around 1.40 K/D and quit CoD in the beginning of this year because I got tired of being punished for playing well and it was the best decision I ever made. Until they make some changes with SBMM(EOMM) and stop selling reskinned game every year, I'm not coming back.
2.90kd with a 4.73 this prestige about 10 games in. My lobbies are pretty insane. My biggest problem is playing with friends. None of my friends are as good as me at cod, not even close yet when I want to play with them we mostly get put in games where they can’t even compete. My friends hate the multiplayer this year and I get it. It’s quite frustrating how SBMM is so rigged that playing with friends who are a lot lower level than me isn’t practical. In the lobbies we get in I’m usually stomping getting around a 4+kd and they are barely going positive it’s just stupid. I notice for sure the lobbies I get in when playing with them are worse but they’re still somewhere in the middle of our skill levels meaning most the enemy players are worse than me but better than them. SBMM is just such a stupid system. I remember playing the old cods with friends and this was NEVER an issue. We would ALL stomp some lobbies and sometimes we would run into players that were better than us. This is the way it used to be and the way it should be now.
I really hope this means that Treyarch and/or Activision make the decision to severely gimp the SBMM for public matches before the playerbase collectively bullies the protected bracket players out of CoD for good. Actually...let them get bullied, they've had it too good for too long...
Team balancing was the kind of SBMM that I didn’t mind in older cods. It isn’t completely game breaking like nerfing damage which is so wild that devs decided to put that into call of duty…

SBMM wouldn't be so bad if they made the teams even. But what they do is make the other team as good as you and put all Timmy's on your team. Same thing for Rank play the other team is higher levels than you and your team. Not to mention all the other things they do to manipulate your game and in Black ops it's the worst than it's ever been. They fixed exploits in zombies in a week but left all the bugs in Multiplayer (not to mention what happened to double XP weekends🤷♂️)
A game that’s coming out called Marvel Rivals just released a dev talk saying that they have a full fledged tested anti cheat system in place that even detects forms of cheats from XIM/Cronus users! Like wtf man, that game isn’t even out yet and this game has had 20 years to make it work and they can’t, embarrassing
Im anti-sbmm/eomm simply because CoD is meantt to be casual and the "coin flip" matchmaking is, as you say, the exciting part. With that being said, the arguments the cod com brinngs up when debating it, shows how low the general skill level actually is or rather understanding of fps games

Liked Xdefiant in the beta but waited for all the issues to be fixed. But I've been dropping 60 bombs, 6kd games, etc. It makes having 20+ years of Shooter experience actually mean something rather than an algorithm forcing bad players to win and good players to lose. The best part about it? Is that I'm stomping people in Xdefiant and it feels good that I can finally go off with no restrictions, but I'm also having close matches with some players equal to my skill. I've also been put on teams where 4 people on my team went like 2-36. You know what it feels like? It feels like when I'd come home from a long day at school and hop on cod4, mw2 or mw3 og. Everyone is in any lobby at any time and it feels great.
The conspiracy is they are doing it on purpose to make you buy a second copy of the game for 2 boxing and they get a cut of every VPN/Cheat out there :)
Every few games I'll just put on a youtube video like this one, go into a match, hold W while watching the second monitor and go 0/40. Sure my K/D tanks but so does my MMR so the lobbies become tolerable for a bit until I play too well
Also wishful thinking but it would be best if the COD community just all did not buy the next COD until the Devs either removed EOMM or toned it down to the level of XDefiant. Thats a fantasy of course probably will never happen because we live in reality and these devs care more about our pockets than making a good game. Pretty much truth, i remember stopped playing cod at black ops 3 after the reveal trailer of infinite warfare, because like a lot of people i was tired of futuristic cods durrr. I stopped playing, didn't bought IW, WW2 and BO4. Later in 2019 with the reveal of the reboot of modern warfare and it's "new engine" i was telling myself "maybe it's time to buy cod again". 2 weeks before it's launch i broked my foot and couldn't buy it, good thing since i spent the next 2 months seeing RUclips videos about how MW2019 felt so different on the multiplayer aspect because people started to think Activision did something to the matchmaking. So seeing that again didn't bought cod, and of course didn't bought any cod later on. Finally when MW3 came out on gamepass i said myself to try it seeing the BO6 beta was coming soon, and after playing MW3 i had so much fun, the game was going well the manches were fun, and when the BO6 beta came i had the same fun expirience, and i started to think "why there's a lot of people complaing about matchmaking, i was thinking channels like yourself and others were full of BS because i was having fun on MW3 and had fun on BO6 beta. So BO6 comes out, i was ready and oh holy fu** the matchmaking finally kicked in and my expirience was just the complete opposite from what i had on the beta and MW3, from bullets not being registered to my character not sprinting sometimes no matter how hard i press the sprint button, i did play BO6 for 3 weeks but i had enough and quit and went to MW3 but still the expirience there it's still fun so idk why in just BO6 it went to shit, did they removed or tuned down SBMM on MW3? Idk but again i was thinking you and others were full of BS but after seeing how hard it can hit the SBMM i just said to myself "well i was thinking a lot BS before SBMM affected me" probably since i didn't played COD from BO3 until MW3 and BO6 they didn't had my data ☝️🤓 until now, and now that they have it they just sent me to the high bracket on BO6. But whatever, just like a lot of people said i did the best way to bypass SBMM, i uninstalled COD HQ even with MW3 no matter if it was better there and stop playing cod again, good thing i was on gamepass and didn't spend any penny on cod, well i did spent something with more value, my time. You really are spot on here. I only play it for the camos. I was playing while watching this video grinding for camos and laughed when you said that. Because you made me realized I'm addicted to the camo grind and not the actual game.
Playing with ppl in your skill level should be only in ranked mode, casual should be with random players with better connection. But it's hard for Activision to understand that. I'm from Brazil and only play S&D, my KD is high and after 2 or 3 marches in my region I only get lobbies in USA with 140 ping+ and it's so frustrating, because I get punished for playing well
The fun thing I've found is that on hardcore i would fire at someone, get no hitmarkers, let alone a kill. But i can clearly see blood spray out of the enemy i am shooting at. Mind you my teammates are nowhere to be seen.
I started a long time ago with mw2 (the real one, not the new same name dirt) I got wrecked over and over, but one day I got a pred missile and holy crap..... my world changed, I tried harder, got it again and again, I eventually became a nuke every other game player and even "got good" quickscoping, my point is that I realised that I wasn't good to begin with but that motivated me to try a little harder and get better which I did, I wasn't born able to do anything but I learned, same with cod, I even had cod socks back in the day I loved it that much, it's such a shame what they have done to the game, the bo6 snipers are a joke, sbmm leaves me burned after just a couple of games, I didn't even buy this one, my game share did, neither of us will be getting the next one. been using sbmmoff since the start of mw3 and it's the best purchase I've ever made. it makes cod actually playable again. there were a few times where I got in lobbies that were just way too easy but besides that it feels like old cod. my best game on mw3 was 168-8 while sniping. games like that aren't even fun tbh but it is kinda nice to feel like a god once in a while and watch the chat explode with rage.
Think of sbmm as getting into a car accident, losing a leg and thinking, well at least I'm alive VS getting into the car accident, losing your leg then finding out someone planted a bomb under your car to cause it. The same accident, the same injuries both times and you survived yet the later scares and pisses you off much more than the first.

2.56 kd here, i stopped caring when they brought out the community challenge and people in my lobbies already had the hand drill day one. I didn't buy sbmm off cuz i already had a vpn but i set it up myself to work exactly like sbmm off. Even when theres higher prestiges in my lobby the skill based damage doesn't affect me anymore while pretending to play in foreign countries. Fuck them, I dont want to 5 stack with friends and do tournament level callouts just to gain a quarter xp towards the battle pass and barely complete three tokens a day. I could two box using the cloud, but those lobbies were too easy for me.

Bro I remember my first day on a new COD I’ll admit I was a noob. Barely going positive and still learning the movement mechanics. As I continued playing I noticed myself slowly getting better winning 1v3 gunfights and dropping no less then a 2 KD every game and dropping full streaks no matter who I played against. I remember one particular incident where I was in a lobby with a full team of sweats dominating the lobby making my teammates quit. I stayed sand still managed to make them rage😂😂. As you mentioned in your video, I was so good til the point where I had to carry a team of bots on a regular basis. It did feel like a constant grind but as you said it was still fun. Then when they first introduced SBMM in the games I suddenly dropped to barely maintaining a 1 KD. I just thought I wasn’t good anymore and just about gave up on COD. SBMM has ruined the franchise. Before SBMM, even when I played against ppl who were better than me I instinctively would better my skills as I went against them. SBMM ruined it all. When it was first introduced, I remember dominating my very first game on Cold War then immediately placed with the sweats the rest of my Cold War career. I’m glad you brought attention to this and not glazing Activision like all the other big time streamers, who are using vpns and cheating. Sorry for the long paragraph. I just feel like I’m watching the death of the best part of my childhood.
something people tend to forget and its something i learned from playing old team fortress 2 is that when the games are random you can learn from those around you. a player who is better then you that you cant compete is a normal thing and should be encouraged. a player should be expose to new and better players so that they can learn from then and be humbled when they think there hot shit. when I play BO6 I don't get to express my skill because everyone is playing like me everyone is doing all the movement techs they can and i just wish i could find someone to show me that there's a way to beat the playstyle of sliding around at 500 miles an hour with a packet full of stims. anyways sorry for the ramble have a nice day.
I haven't seen anyone talking about this but 90% of the weapon animations are re-used from MW19, MWII, CW and MWIII. 4 years of development ladies and gentlemen.
@alexanderg1297 it was at best on a few guns or the same exact gun in different games and not really noticeable but in BO6 almost every gun re-uses animations and sometimes 2 different guns have nearly identical animations and it's hard not to notice. That's my issue at least.
Played a game last night with a buddy who just bought the game. I know those lobbies exist but I had never been in one and had no Idea exactly what it's like. The easiest game of my life. One guy was clearly 2-boxing but everyone else was basically a bot. I had never wanted to 2-box before, but now that I've experienced it I want it back. It was nice to just chill and play CoD. But then the next lobby was hell and my friend basically said he never wanted to play in those lobbies again. So now we can't play together
og matchmakings best aspect was the fact that the lobbies didnt disband after the game. everyone had a choice after the first game to stay and play another with that group or leave and find a new. now no one even has a choice because the lobby fucking disbands.

I would love to have a ping based matchmaking system paired with a REAL, TRUE skill based matchmaking with randomness in it. Lobbies with people that have best connections with a system that matches people based on actual skill with no manipulation. Players with 1 to 1.5 K/D will be lobbied with other players in that same range. And add randomness to add a player with a 2+ K/D to each team for balancing. That would allow players to actually have the opportunity to improve and get better rather than just get stomped into never touching the game again. Something like that with some polishing would really make things better.
I manulipated Eomm by playing XDefiant and maintaining consistent Postive k/ds without needing to Buy anything. I do miss the old Nostalgia videos of you going ham on District with an MP5. Back then the only problems were.. well Martydom.
The worst part of a mom is the fact that when I play with my friends who are not great they realllllllyyyy struggle in my lobbies. They literally don’t want to play with me because my lobbies are too hard and I actually feel bad when we party up. I got like 30-10 they go 5-20. Sbmm is actually worse the low bracket players who want to play with their friends.
I remember the days when our idols and the top players, who truly put in the effort, had 3 KDR and there was no skill-based matchmaking (SBMM). We casual players were trying hard to maintain a 1.5 K/D ratio, but those days are gone. Now, with the current system in Warzone, we see players with K/D ratios ranging from 3 to 30, which obviously points to cheating and this blind Activision and COD are just counting $$$ while the genuine gamers of this franchise are suffering almost half a decade? GOD! Note: Brother Blame? What kind of laptop should I get for Warzone only? I wanna get one and try your product. I'm here in Cambodia and everyone here have 0 knowledge of this things. Pls help. When i was in my best shape at warzone i think it was black ops cold war, where i was already sick of all bs manipulative systems and cheaters their anti cheat program got me shadowban...i almost totally quit playing it for few months since xd was out and then i realized that gaming is actually fun again :)
Anytime I get a team of Timmy no thumbs where I can't even spawn because my team is literally letting the other team walk into our spawn I just back out. Any time I feel cod has given me the short end of the stick I back out
I've said time and time again, lower skilled lobbies hardly anyone quits but in normal games everyone and their grandma quits. At one point in MWIII I took a 20 game average and it was almost a 50% quit rate. I experimented with two boxing in BO6 and no quits. I will say the effectiveness of two boxing seems to be in the gutter or I didn't understand how to do it. I had a .09 account I would join in progress and there were always at least 2 people, often more too, that had zero business being in there and that's before my main joins in. So everyone must be doing it. Those famous youtube 100% bot lobbies rarely came up in my testing.
For the first time since COD was released 20 years ago I have stopped playing it ! Think I got to level 14 in BO6, can’t see me ever going back to it ! The only way back would be if SBMM was turned off in the game.
I submit a 5th method: Reverse-Boosting on Stakeout with extra smokes and impact grenades. You smoke up the joint (not hard to do) and then hold RB and bum rush the enemy. When they kill you, you drop the impact grenade and boom. Dead
makes me sad. the last bit of fun in cod died in 2019. i remember the early state of the game youd run into enemy teams willing to meet u in spawn and joke around and towards the end and in every other game since everyone is so stuck on kill kill kill and i have no choice but to try try try
i stopped 2boxing because every other lobby there would be another 2boxer. Some of these 2boxers arent even that good but they still fry these bottom tier lobbies. Its insane how big the skill gap is WITHIN 2boxers as well.
I’ll tell you the biggest problem with SBMM, I’m not sure how good I am at cod because it’s manipulated to keep everyone on a level playing field i always sit at around 1-1.5KD I’m usually at the top of the leader board but I also play objective average kills in games is around 30 but my deaths will be around 20-27 but it’s so disheartening to not know if I’m worse then this usually or better there’s nothing better then being a gamer and knowing you are good at a game you enjoy playing
Another weird thing happened today in ranked. I’m assuming an activision dev or just a straight bot. Had a custom activision clan tag but played absolutely like a private match bot.
I was 2 boxing the other night and we had 4 player split between the team, and the game was kinda close but the best part honestly is it felt like old cod
I was playing MW 2023 for the past week and feels like it doesnt have sbmm... im having really interesting matches. No meta weapons, no tryhards, just normal people playing normally. There are some tryhards but i can understand 1 or 2 in the same match. I really enjoying my time getting gold camos in MW 2023.
You know what? Zombies isn't any different from Multiplayer when we're on this topic of CoD. Kevin Drew literally changed the entirety of Zombies because his son or little brother got "bitched at" during the first 5 rounds of a Zombies Map, even though, the 3 players in question were literally teaching him how to effectively play Zombies and maximizing points gain. This is literally why Zombies changed from Black Ops 4 and this was his only excuse to do it, that being a personal vendetta.
I used to think throughout all of COD up through Cold War I was a good player always a decent positive K/D. Now, I don’t know what the hell I am due to this manipulative bullshit.
I stopped playing a while back, back in the "futuristic" COD days, aka Infinite warfare, advanced warfare etc... And that was before SBMM was a big thing, I left cause COD felt uninspired and man I'm glad I never came back.

If you dislike how sbmm feels at high levels, you're disliking the way the game itself plays. Not the system. I've only ever heard cod players complain about being matched against same level players. In other games it's fun to be challenged.

I rmb, when I was younger, my mom won an Xbox One console (W mom), and the first game I bought was Black Ops 3. I knew nothing much about COD back then, but I just kept playing. In every multiplayer game, I went an average of 0.1kd, but at the end of the day, I was always having fun and constantly willing to learn to improve. Same here when I use to play MW the original. Use to get shit on but finally learned and developed my own playstyle that worked and eventually I was going positive and having even MORE fun. It blows my mind this is life now….where we protect people who are trash at video games. NBA2k now has skill based matchmaking and it’s insanity….

I used both a VPN and 2-boxing for the first time today. I haven’t had more fun with a modern cod in the last 5 years. No packet loss, variety of skill levels, pub stomping lobbies. It’s not even the same game.

For those asking if this is true....yes and no. In CoD it is still there. In Xdefiant it is not. However, I have noticed a lesser amount in CoD recently. My advice. Load up Xdefiant a few more times than you do. Saturate those numbers a bit. Its a fun game. It has issues, but thats just gaming now unfortunately. I wish we could just get a full game like the old days. But, Xdefiant is at least fun. A buddy of mine and I play it and just slam lobbies and then get tough lobbies and in between lobbies. We always feel like we have a chance to win. CoD has felt like, we get rigged lobbies and if we do too good we're about seven seconds from having people drop out and then having Jesus of CoD humself come in there and remind us who dad is. Just let the games happen. Thats how old CoD was. You just had no idea who you were facing the next match unless yall stayed in the same lobby for 8 games...which i also miss. Here to add to statistics, I had around 1.40 K/D and quit CoD in the beginning of this year because I got tired of being punished for playing well and it was the best decision I ever made. Until they make some changes with SBMM(EOMM) and stop selling reskinned game every year, I'm not coming back.
2.90kd with a 4.73 this prestige about 10 games in. My lobbies are pretty insane. My biggest problem is playing with friends. None of my friends are as good as me at cod, not even close yet when I want to play with them we mostly get put in games where they can’t even compete. My friends hate the multiplayer this year and I get it. It’s quite frustrating how SBMM is so rigged that playing with friends who are a lot lower level than me isn’t practical. In the lobbies we get in I’m usually stomping getting around a 4+kd and they are barely going positive it’s just stupid. I notice for sure the lobbies I get in when playing with them are worse but they’re still somewhere in the middle of our skill levels meaning most the enemy players are worse than me but better than them. SBMM is just such a stupid system. I remember playing the old cods with friends and this was NEVER an issue. We would ALL stomp some lobbies and sometimes we would run into players that were better than us. This is the way it used to be and the way it should be now.

Team balancing was the kind of SBMM that I didn’t mind in older cods. It isn’t completely game breaking like nerfing damage which is so wild that devs decided to put that into call of duty…
That's what the devs need to worry about. Let ping be king, get people playing on their local server, then balance the lobbies. No SBMM no EOMM.
Lobby balancing was fun because you'd have 1-2 good players on each team to counter the others.

SBMM wouldn't be so bad if they made the teams even. But what they do is make the other team as good as you and put all Timmy's on your team. Same thing for Rank play the other team is higher levels than you and your team. Not to mention all the other things they do to manipulate your game and in Black ops it's the worst than it's ever been. They fixed exploits in zombies in a week but left all the bugs in Multiplayer (not to mention what happened to double XP weekends🤷♂️)

Liked Xdefiant in the beta but waited for all the issues to be fixed. But I've been dropping 60 bombs, 6kd games, etc. It makes having 20+ years of Shooter experience actually mean something rather than an algorithm forcing bad players to win and good players to lose. The best part about it? Is that I'm stomping people in Xdefiant and it feels good that I can finally go off with no restrictions, but I'm also having close matches with some players equal to my skill. I've also been put on teams where 4 people on my team went like 2-36. You know what it feels like? It feels like when I'd come home from a long day at school and hop on cod4, mw2 or mw3 og. Everyone is in any lobby at any time and it feels great.
The conspiracy is they are doing it on purpose to make you buy a second copy of the game for 2 boxing and they get a cut of every VPN/Cheat out there :)
Every few games I'll just put on a youtube video like this one, go into a match, hold W while watching the second monitor and go 0/40. Sure my K/D tanks but so does my MMR so the lobbies become tolerable for a bit until I play too well

Pretty much truth, i remember stopped playing cod at black ops 3 after the reveal trailer of infinite warfare, because like a lot of people i was tired of futuristic cods durrr. I stopped playing, didn't bought IW, WW2 and BO4. Later in 2019 with the reveal of the reboot of modern warfare and it's "new engine" i was telling myself "maybe it's time to buy cod again". 2 weeks before it's launch i broked my foot and couldn't buy it, good thing since i spent the next 2 months seeing RUclips videos about how MW2019 felt so different on the multiplayer aspect because people started to think Activision did something to the matchmaking. So seeing that again didn't bought cod, and of course didn't bought any cod later on. Finally when MW3 came out on gamepass i said myself to try it seeing the BO6 beta was coming soon, and after playing MW3 i had so much fun, the game was going well the manches were fun, and when the BO6 beta came i had the same fun expirience, and i started to think "why there's a lot of people complaing about matchmaking, i was thinking channels like yourself and others were full of BS because i was having fun on MW3 and had fun on BO6 beta. So BO6 comes out, i was ready and oh holy fu** the matchmaking finally kicked in and my expirience was just the complete opposite from what i had on the beta and MW3, from bullets not being registered to my character not sprinting sometimes no matter how hard i press the sprint button, i did play BO6 for 3 weeks but i had enough and quit and went to MW3 but still the expirience there it's still fun so idk why in just BO6 it went to shit, did they removed or tuned down SBMM on MW3? Idk but again i was thinking you and others were full of BS but after seeing how hard it can hit the SBMM i just said to myself "well i was thinking a lot BS before SBMM affected me" probably since i didn't played COD from BO3 until MW3 and BO6 they didn't had my data ☝️🤓 until now, and now that they have it they just sent me to the high bracket on BO6. You really are spot on here. I only play it for the camos. I was playing while watching this video grinding for camos and laughed when you said that. Because you made me realized I'm addicted to the camo grind and not the actual game.
Playing with ppl in your skill level should be only in ranked mode, casual should be with random players with better connection. But it's hard for Activision to understand that.
I'm from Brazil and only play S&D, my KD is high and after 2 or 3 marches in my region I only get lobbies in USA with 140 ping+ and it's so frustrating, because I get punished for playing well

The fun thing I've found is that on hardcore i would fire at someone, get no hitmarkers, let alone a kill. But i can clearly see blood spray out of the enemy i am shooting at. Mind you my teammates are nowhere to be seen.
Sbmm is not skill based matchmaking, it's retention based matchmaking.
I started a long time ago with mw2 (the real one, not the new same name dirt) I got wrecked over and over, but one day I got a pred missile and holy crap..... my world changed, I tried harder, got it again and again, I eventually became a nuke every other game player and even "got good" quickscoping, my point is that I realised that I wasn't good to begin with but that motivated me to try a little harder and get better which I did, I wasn't born able to do anything but I learned, same with cod, I even had cod socks back in the day I loved it that much, it's such a shame what they have done to the game, the bo6 snipers are a joke, sbmm leaves me burned after just a couple of games, I didn't even buy this one, my game share did, neither of us will be getting the next one. been using sbmmoff since the start of mw3 and it's the best purchase I've ever made. it makes cod actually playable again. there were a few times where I got in lobbies that were just way too easy but besides that it feels like old cod. my best game on mw3 was 168-8 while sniping. games like that aren't even fun tbh but it is kinda nice to feel like a god once in a while and watch the chat explode with rage.
Think of sbmm as getting into a car accident, losing a leg and thinking, well at least I'm alive VS getting into the car accident, losing your leg then finding out someone planted a bomb under your car to cause it. The same accident, the same injuries both times and you survived yet the later scares and pisses you off much more than the first.
I played precisely one match of multiplayer during the beta and it was genuinely one of the worst gaming experiences I have ever had.

2.56 kd here, i stopped caring when they brought out the community challenge and people in my lobbies already had the hand drill day one. I didn't buy sbmm off cuz i already had a vpn but i set it up myself to work exactly like sbmm off. Even when theres higher prestiges in my lobby the skill based damage doesn't affect me anymore while pretending to play in foreign countries. Fuck them, I dont want to 5 stack with friends and do tournament level callouts just to gain a quarter xp towards the battle pass and barely complete three tokens a day. I could two box using the cloud, but those lobbies were too easy for me.

Bro I remember my first day on a new COD I’ll admit I was a noob. Barely going positive and still learning the movement mechanics. As I continued playing I noticed myself slowly getting better winning 1v3 gunfights and dropping no less then a 2 KD every game and dropping full streaks no matter who I played against. I remember one particular incident where I was in a lobby with a full team of sweats dominating the lobby making my teammates quit. I stayed sand still managed to make them rage😂😂. As you mentioned in your video, I was so good til the point where I had to carry a team of bots on a regular basis. It did feel like a constant grind but as you said it was still fun. Then when they first introduced SBMM in the games I suddenly dropped to barely maintaining a 1 KD. I just thought I wasn’t good anymore and just about gave up on COD. SBMM has ruined the franchise. Before SBMM, even when I played against ppl who were better than me I instinctively would better my skills as I went against them. SBMM ruined it all. When it was first introduced, I remember dominating my very first game on Cold War then immediately placed with the sweats the rest of my Cold War career. I’m glad you brought attention to this and not glazing Activision like all the other big time streamers, who are using vpns and cheating. Sorry for the long paragraph. I just feel like I’m watching the death of the best part of my childhood.
something people tend to forget and its something i learned from playing old team fortress 2 is that when the games are random you can learn from those around you. a player who is better then you that you cant compete is a normal thing and should be encouraged. a player should be expose to new and better players so that they can learn from then and be humbled when they think there hot shit. when I play BO6 I don't get to express my skill because everyone is playing like me everyone is doing all the movement techs they can and i just wish i could find someone to show me that there's a way to beat the playstyle of sliding around at 500 miles an hour with a packet full of stims. anyways sorry for the ramble have a nice day.
I haven't seen anyone talking about this but 90% of the weapon animations are re-used from MW19, MWII, CW and MWIII. 4 years of development ladies and gentlemen.
They’ve reused skins for guns as well as animations since cod2. A problem? Yeah, but not the biggest issue with these games.
@alexanderg1297 it was at best on a few guns or the same exact gun in different games and not really noticeable but in BO6 almost every gun re-uses animations and sometimes 2 different guns have nearly identical animations and it's hard not to notice. That's my issue at least.

Played a game last night with a buddy who just bought the game. I know those lobbies exist but I had never been in one and had no Idea exactly what it's like. The easiest game of my life. One guy was clearly 2-boxing but everyone else was basically a bot. I had never wanted to 2-box before, but now that I've experienced it I want it back. It was nice to just chill and play CoD. But then the next lobby was hell and my friend basically said he never wanted to play in those lobbies again. So now we can't play together
og matchmakings best aspect was the fact that the lobbies didnt disband after the game. everyone had a choice after the first game to stay and play another with that group or leave and find a new. now no one even has a choice because the lobby fucking disbands.

After mw2019 I just gave up on multiplayer being good again but I did buy Cold War for the zombies and vowed not to give them another cent after that…
I would love to have a ping based matchmaking system paired with a REAL, TRUE skill based matchmaking with randomness in it. Lobbies with people that have best connections with a system that matches people based on actual skill with no manipulation. Players with 1 to 1.5 K/D will be lobbied with other players in that same range. And add randomness to add a player with a 2+ K/D to each team for balancing. That would allow players to actually have the opportunity to improve and get better rather than just get stomped into never touching the game again. Something like that with some polishing would really make things better.

The worst part of a mom is the fact that when I play with my friends who are not great they realllllllyyyy struggle in my lobbies. They literally don’t want to play with me because my lobbies are too hard and I actually feel bad when we party up. I got like 30-10 they go 5-20. Sbmm is actually worse the low bracket players who want to play with their friends.

I remember the days when our idols and the top players, who truly put in the effort, had 3 KDR and there was no skill-based matchmaking (SBMM). We casual players were trying hard to maintain a 1.5 K/D ratio, but those days are gone. Now, with the current system in Warzone, we see players with K/D ratios ranging from 3 to 30, which obviously points to cheating and this blind Activision and COD are just counting $$$ while the genuine gamers of this franchise are suffering almost half a decade? GOD!

When i was in my best shape at warzone i think it was black ops cold war, where i was already sick of all bs manipulative systems and cheaters their anti cheat program got me shadowban...i almost totally quit playing it for few months since xd was out and then i realized that gaming is actually fun again :)
Anytime I get a team of Timmy no thumbs where I can't even spawn because my team is literally letting the other team walk into our spawn I just back out. Any time I feel cod has given me the short end of the stick I back out
I've said time and time again, lower skilled lobbies hardly anyone quits but in normal games everyone and their grandma quits. At one point in MWIII I took a 20 game average and it was almost a 50% quit rate. I experimented with two boxing in BO6 and no quits. I will say the effectiveness of two boxing seems to be in the gutter or I didn't understand how to do it. I had a .09 account I would join in progress and there were always at least 2 people, often more too, that had zero business being in there and that's before my main joins in. So everyone must be doing it. Those famous youtube 100% bot lobbies rarely came up in my testing.

i stopped 2boxing because every other lobby there would be another 2boxer. Some of these 2boxers arent even that good but they still fry these bottom tier lobbies. Its insane how big the skill gap is WITHIN 2boxers as well.

Another weird thing happened today in ranked. I’m assuming an activision dev or just a straight bot. Had a custom activision clan tag but played absolutely like a private match bot.
I was 2 boxing the other night and we had 4 player split between the team, and the game was kinda close but the best part honestly is it felt like old cod
I was playing MW 2023 for the past week and feels like it doesnt have sbmm... im having really interesting matches. No meta weapons, no tryhards, just normal people playing normally. There are some tryhards but i can understand 1 or 2 in the same match. I really enjoying my time getting gold camos in MW 2023.

Kevin Drew literally changed the entirety of Zombies because his son or little brother got "bitched at" during the first 5 rounds of a Zombies Map, even though, the 3 players in question were literally teaching him how to effectively play Zombies and maximizing points gain. This is literally why Zombies changed from Black Ops 4 and this was his only excuse to do it, that being a personal vendetta.

I used to think throughout all of COD up through Cold War I was a good player always a decent positive K/D. Now, I don’t know what the hell I am due to this manipulative bullshit.
good players carrying a bad team against a good squad using team work was the most fun.
I stopped playing a while back, back in the "futuristic" COD days, aka Infinite warfare, advanced warfare etc... And that was before SBMM was a big thing, I left cause COD felt uninspired and man I'm glad I never came back.
