i hhonestly cant play this game with recon bonus. its such a crutch ill wipe a team to have someone jump slide preaiming my position because they have 3 seconds of wallhacks. who the f thought of this.... "we cant beat cheaters so add soft cheats" so cringe. i simply quit. i play cs2 again with my gf.
slowed it down, the omni movement at .25 speed, he actually does turn on ya the last second, not one of those guys who come here negative, I been to some streams on BO 4, and donated some times, but he gotcha there
Honestly, I gotta give Treyarch props. I don't know how in the world they managed to take 100 health pool and make it feel like 300 health when you're shooting at someone, but at the same time your health pool feels like 20 when you die instantly to every enemy.
Same thats my biggest hate, feels like your unloading a mag into them and when you do kill them you dont have enough bullets to kill the guy who littrally spawns infront of you.
I've had so many matches where it feels like half the game we're winning and then suddenly the enemy just locks in and it becomes a close game. Legit feels like mid-game nerfs

Nobody noticed the worst thing sbmm did to us over the past years? I see it in nearly every video. I was a cod gamer since cod4 and it was a run and gun shooter. We rushed through the maps like crazy but now, this game is like holding your position and fire until you die. Finding a new spot, holding this position and keep it again. Wow that's ridiculous. Iam so so glad and grew up with a different and better experience than the youth from today.
Wow thats crazy, you're so blinded by nostalgia that you can't remember a time when CoD was exactly like it is now. You never, against halfway decent shooter players, just "rush through the map". Just say you're mad that you're not constantly playing against noobs all the time. CoD has ALWAYS had tactics and strategy involved and there has always been a clear skill gap. The only thing that has changed is matchmaking....maybe you should find another shooter like Battlefield, if you're so miserable and unhappy with CoD stop playing it and buying it every year just to parrot the same shit.

In old cods we got mixed lobbies all the time, not noobs the whole time, it was fun. Now cods are like playing against your mirror the whole time. We meet great gamers in the past cause lobbies stayed the same so we could build up clans with nice players and I still playing with them since 25 years. How many friends do you find actually in new cods? And even the girls or guys that aren't this good, had fun playing it, cause it didn't matter if some.of us got above 2 or 3 kd. But now, take a 0,8 kd player into a game with 4x kd 2-3 and take a look how much fun he will have. And nobody of us played cod like this with keeping a spot the whole time. It's like camping in a 4 meter radius. But if you have fun with it iam also fine with it. I don't judge someone having fun with this game. I don't have fun and that's the reason I don't buy it until sbmm gets his home in ranked only

Now not only has the skill Gap widely decreased but the number of camping pussies who play like they'll die irl if they die in game has increased probably 10 fold since 2007. Every pub match you play will have at least one camper, guaranteed. That never used to be a reliable assumption.
I’ve been telling people and complaining about this EOMM bs for years. Nobody believed me despite mountains of evidence and literal patents that anyone can search for online. This game is absolutely horrendous
I also noticed this. When I’m doing better than I usually do, every time I get near 30-40 kills the game begins to continually spawn me in front of enemies, my gun doesn’t do as much damage, enemies kill me almost immediately, enemies spawn behind me etc etc. Always happens near the end of the game as well.
@@jamesdoakes4956 I noticed something similar in mw2. At that point I caught on to the match manipulation, so I tried to play really bad. An enemy would throw a grenade at a car, I'd run at the grenade without EOD. I'd be within knifing distance of the grenade AND car explosion and wouldn't die. Meanwhile a buddy would be 5+ meters away from the same grenade with EOD and get absolutely nuked. Every. Single. Time. Only shocking thing about this news is it took everyone until bo6 to figure it out.

Facts. I got that problem in ffa 😂 can start off 12-2 or something like that than start dying back to back to back. Today my kd went from a 2.03 to 1.99 😂 I just cut the game off I’ll try again tomorrow

I've recorded about 30 of my matches and I've noticed as soon as one team starts dominating, the other team gets some kinda damage or health buff. When I join into matches that are 30-70 score, I kill in 3-4 body shots with SMGs, but when I'm in a game where my team is winning, the exact same SMG from the same range drop off damage, it ups it to 5-7 bullets to the body. It's not every match, usually every other match, but it's insane that it's a thing that happens at all.

Idk if it's just connection issues maybe. my bullets are registering really well and it feels like I'm melting everyone with a few shots, then I'll start lagging and I swear I get x2 the hit markers and half my shots don't register. Idk if it's still based DMG or connection.

Yup, happens. The game "Shift" is a real thing. People quitting mid match effect this, as Algorithm possibly adjusting live as new players Join. When playing COD, I get 3 distinct experiences. Lag, Hit markers, match making a mess.
I knew this game wasn't going to fix it's net code 😒 this is the same engine since 2018 bo4. It looks, feels, acts, reacts, and plays like bo4. It's still an old engine off the last gen of cods and it's trash. To me personally it looks too cartoony I like mw19 the best 🤷

Explain to me why SNMM is bad in casual? As a new player I’m ranked 33 but I get lobbied with quite a few prestige players and we noobs get railed. Not fun for us. You guys complain if you play against guys at your skill level?
I've said it millions of times: Give us dedicated servers, then there's no need for sbmm, its easy constant money for em through renting out/selling servers and pure enjoyment for us. Are they actually dumb? They could straight up just avoid ALL the hate like that.
I’m an extremely average player, and I almost exclusively play hard-core mode, I notice these things too if I dare to go on a five or 10 kill streak, it’s like the game then turns around and says wow buddy no you’re a one KD guy, and then my sprint to fire is Nerfed and I’m shooting marshmallows at them, and spawn in-front of enemies untill my kd is back to 1ish, then it reverts back to normal
The spawning part is weird to me. Sometimes it really does feel rigged. There will be points where I spawn in between 2-3 enemies MULTIPLE TIMES IN A ROW. In the same spot, during the same match. Literally. And it happens on large maps too, which doesn't make sense to me. I'm a very average player so I don't see the point of nerfing me during matches, but there are times where things really do feel off. I have literally spawned on top of an enemy before. I don't remember that being a thing back in MW2 and World at War. In all fairness that was a long time ago and my memory is crap, but still. I know spawn killing is a thing and what not, but sometimes it genuinely feels like I'm being spawned somewhere to be instantly killed on purpose. Yeah, could be a skill issue for me. At the same time, I'm not sure why I get spawned in a crowd of enemies multiple times in a match. That doesn't seem fair. It's one thing if it happens on super small maps, I mean I could see that being a coincidence, but it seems to happen to me on large maps more frequently than what I would consider coincidence. Idk. Something weird really might be going on behind the scenes.
I think the worst thing that happened to me in this game was I was on Nuketown, and I had bullets come out of the ground and shoot me. Only for an enemy to come in and slide into the point where the bullets came from. Guy was basically time traveling.
All of the guns feel like they have rapid fire built into them, the ttk will take 3-5 bullets to kill someone depending on the gunfight but when you get shot you die instantly.

I had a game of domination where my team started out like 120-60. Then for whatever reason, my entire team quits and me and one guy won the game 200-197. Went from a casual pubstomp to the sweatiest match I played all day. Just another strange “coincidence” I’m sure 😅
one thing i love about watching other people play bo6 is they never seem to get killed 7 times before successfully cocking the gun and when i do manage to get 6 kills theyll start spawning infront and behind me. I cant look 360 degrees at all times, I get being unlucky but everytime the same people spawning in behind me after i just killed them and then i watch the best play and its the worst player on the server getting 5 kills because of people just getting unlucky and spawning with their back turned to them.
That's because of how Borked the Spawns are, when people on your team push too hard into the Enemy spawn, the spawns keep flipping... I've had Spawns Flip like 15 times in about 30 seconds before and it's honestly annoying af, Like where tf am I supposed to look if enemies are coming at me from absolutely every direction.
100%....MP matches are rigged in this game. I've been in Domination matches partied up as a 6 man, and multiple times now we start the game smashing the other team with 2 flags capped, sometimes 3 flags capped briefly. Then, like a switch is flipped half way through and we get our asses handed to us. Like, literally the enemy team triple caps us and none of us can win gun fights. And nothing we did seemed to work and help us come back. We were on Vault map the other night and the enemy team triple capped us and it was impossible for us to cap even a single flag. B06 is the most fake, rigged, and bizarre COD ever released.
I’ve been on both ends of this. There’s times where I’m fragging out my mind then go on a death streak to lose the game. And then there’s times where I’m getting shredded then like half way through my team triple caps and we come back to win the game despite my performance. Half the time if I do top frag and theres no bs my team just isn’t good enough to do anything. It’s nothing egregious like some of y’all cause my kd ain’t even that high but it makes my good games feel meh.

Same brother I’ve been playing solo and I felt it was rigged but still manage to go positive every match 3rd prestige lvl55 multiple gold guns I know what the guns feel like and today I squaded up with my buddy and it was easily my worst games I’ve played going negative multiple times and like you said at the halfway point a switch flipped all of a sudden my 3-4 shot gun turns into a 6-8 shot guns and it doesn’t matter what gun the enemies use I get 2-3 shot every time, I could literally shoot someone 4 times have them whip around and 2 shot chest shot me my guns turned into airsoft and my health was lower than normal me and my friend both noticed and both have atleast 5 clips where we recorded just to make sure we weren’t being sore losers but no the game was rigged, started playing solo right after and it went back to being more consistent and me going positive and doing good even my bad matches I go positive playing with a friend it’s like I have hardcore health while everyone else is playing normally
I mean, honestly, if someone started a class action based on everything going on. It could be construed that activision is actively defrauding everyone playing these games by manipulating a genuine gameplay experience.

I’m a bad player and EOMM don’t help me either. I used to be a 0.4.06 KD average. So far with the little time played in MP. I have a 0.99 KD and it probably will go down more once I finish everything on zombies right now. And it still don’t help me. SBMM helps no one. Bad players, good players, above average players, lower average players no matter what “skill” bracket you are it does not help. Two boxing does not help either cause my matches get ruined so I quit a lot more. HOWEVER. Do I blame people for doing that? No. I can ATLEAST SEE even as a BAD PLAYER. How annoyed how pissed the amazing players get when SBMM/EOMM fucks them over.
I really enjoy the SBMM the only thing that annoys me is when im the only skilled person on my team and the whole other team has equally skilled players or slightly better for example i had a tdm match on babylon and i got 39 kills and the game ended with us losing 80 - 100 i was upset because i was half the teams kills i could understand losing 90 - 100 95 - 100 but anything less than 85 is a terrible team
They're inflating bad players KDs with the stupid "elimination" for assist crap. That's how they try to force people to maintain a 1.0 KD. Can go the entire game without getting a kill. Just fire 1 bullet into enemies and as long as your teammates kill them boom you killed them to.
@Bewleyy sbmm decides your skill bracket based on score per min, overall score, objective score, kills/deaths, and wins/loses. It still boosts a players sbmm so even if they aren't good they are going to go against better players sooner than later.
I'm still dropping 40+ kills on a normal match even though I have 120 ms. (Im in Cambodia and Japan is the nearest server for COD to me) and I'm using Mouse Keyboard on my PS5. When EOMM kicks in, your team is like a magnet on enemies gun, meanwhile me losing to a handgun face to face while my crosshair is at the face of my enemy with almost 40 bullets of my VAL. This game is rigged. Imagine my latency status, EOMM & cheaters. My God my brother Blame, this game is just 🤬🤬🤬
Thats all true but playing mnk on console in COD is basicly giving yourself a disadvantage on purpose. Controller is better in cod. I play Controller on pc😂. Even tho i play mnk in most other games

I don’t care what anyone says. I’ve experienced a mid match nerf feeling many times. There has to be SOMETHING that happens when you’re doing too good that causes you to do a little worse mid match when you’re popping off.
If you want testimony from someone that isn't very good and doesn't take the game that seriously, I can't count the number of times I will start up a game, i die like 6 times very quickly, then seemingly out of nowhere and without changing anything I start playing better and start getting kills and end the game with around a 1.0 kda.
Same thing happens with me except ill get 10 kills right off the start, and honestly will not get another kill till I've died at least 8 times. Grenades spawn out of nowhere in front of me when I run, I get aim resist, my guns shoot plastic pellets etc. Then I die, my spawn is right in front of an enemy etc haha. So stupid
If they won't turn off SBMM/EOMM, My solution is to add a Mercenary Playlist toggle. Solo Queue without running into Seal Team 6, fastest connections and SBMM/EOMM off.
The more i see this game, the more i cant unsee how they literally took black ops 4, removed specialists (add it to perks), added omnimovement and called it a day... I mean look at the front of the text, the hitmarket for the concussion... Looks exactly the same as bo4... This game took 4 years to make? Naaaah
Now that you point that out… this may add more validity to your point - in the HUD settings you can actually change your HUD display to “Classic” which is exactly what was in BO4. Disclaimer: I am not sure if this the first COD that lets you change it to a BO4 hud but it would tie in with your point if it is
Just started up some matches. First got pocketbursted 3 times, my shots didn't register. Just quit the match. Second match. Same thing. Just turned of the game. Not playing this💩 anymore. It's completly redicoulus how they nerf your gameplay to get you back down to a 1 kd. They do nerf you midmatch. Spawn enemies behind you. Spawn you in the open. It's so incredibly bad. It completly kills this game. They did it in mw3 but not even close to this! It's just so dishonest and jusy feels horible.
When you were talking about how you would aim and the aim assist wasn’t sticking, I felt that. I’ve experienced that a lot in my games. It’s like if you took two magnets and you tried to connect both of the same magnetic fields. It’s almost as if it forces your aim away.
This game is absolute trash, no matter what I do in any match or game mode as soon as I break the 3 kill death ratio threshold I get nerfed into the ground and my guns start shooting marshmallows as well as getting aim resist constantly, most call of duty games I’m a 2.5 kill death player and on this game I struggle to maintain a 1.55 but “data” or not you can actively and immediately feel when the switch flips and the nerfs power up it feels like an entirely different game
This is my first CoD since Ghosts, yesterday I was rocking out on a merciless streak and all of a sudden I couldn't get a kill. Happened mid match, it was like a switch went off and my shots didn't want to connect. I'm rusty sure, but Jesus it was something else. I went from a 4kd to ending the match with a 1.3(which ironically is just under my overall average). I loved CoD back in the day and was looking forward to getting back into it, but my god this is unbearable. I could literally feel when the SBMM kicked in, that added to the desync is just too much. Edit: I would consider getting SBMM Off if they had a monthly plan, not locking in for a year on something like that.
Nah that isn’t SBMM kicking in that’s just the dogshit servers. Even Warzone servers arent this dogshit. I get season 1 hasnt dropped yet but come on. Also the maps are completely dogshit, I would say 25% of the maps are actually good or playable. Other than that they’re just not good, mw3 2023 did a lot of this wrong but maps wasn’t one of them, that game blows bo6 maps out of the water.
Thousands of people experience this stuff, myself included. The game is garbage, If anyone you know calls BS invite them over and let them play on YOUR account after you play the first game. I've done it and had friends join my lobby and in both instances they are wondering wtf is going on. They want to get off before the game even ENDS, or leave my party. This isn't a accident, they want good players to suffer; 2/10 of the time is fun 8/10 is why did i lose that gunfight/ i scored half the objective points required to win, how did we lose.
i sit on 3.2kd normaly dropping 70+ like every 3rd or 2nd game not noticed any of this. no dmg nerf no connection nerf no aa nerf (im on kbm, so no AA at all) maybe one day they "nerf2 me too :,D Edit: THE only thing i see A LOT, and i eman A LOT my teammates are quitting, like 4 out of 10 games we are just 2 or 3 ppl left and the like 3 outta 10 games my teammates are DOGSHIT, not new players, sometimes they are prestige 3+ but not getting objective points not getting kills no pings, no calls NOTHING it feels like i play with BOTS
To add a next level of pain, I’ve been playing since Cod4, and I game on a hotspot. My NAT is strict. They double down with SBMM with me. Also, this game remembers what you did in all the previous call of duties back to 2019. I played one match, rank one with nobody else in the lobby less than 50 rank, I couldn’t even move, sweat all over, backed out and never played another match. Off to X.
The same thing happened to me when I was playing against my girlfriend in a private match. There was a 45-minute time limit, 45 kills to win, and the game mode was free for all. She had 10 kills, and I had like 30, I started getting packet bursts lagging hard. On top of that, my aim assist wasn't working either. However, when she caught up, my game started working perfectly fine. I can't even play with my girlfriend, one on one.
Man even infected doesn't even feel as good as before. They just made every gun slow and added extra zombies. I wouldn't have an issue with the zombies but now players can't even hide to be the last person

I have also another interesting experiment I did, which basically showed me that SBMM is not really about the stats, but more so about how agressive you move around the map. Try to play the game normally, but don't jump, don't slide and don't tac sprint, only regular sprinting. And try to look around a bit slower than usual (either drop your sens or just move your stick less). Other than that, just aim regularly in your gunfights, you don't need to die on purpose. Now watch how your enemies playstyle changes and how it also affects your future matches, it is really interesting 🌚 What I found: your enemies will move less and play a bit more passive, but if you still get an agressive player in the enemy team, then somehow magically you will still be able to kill them most of the time, while playing in your slower playstyle. Almost like the faster you play, the more you get an added delay to your gameplay, so that enemies who don't play this quick will still have a chance to react to you.
Same thing happens to me. I hate this game. My weapons deal less damage, my hit dont even hit sometimes, my aim assist turns off and ill even get aim resist. They also prevent me from switching to keyboard and mouse mid match which is stupid and there is no reason to go up against keyboard and mouse players and controller players in a match and not be able to switch mid match. Its bulls***

That happened to me tonight on warhead. Popped off on the start of the round, locked the whole center house down, had an 11.0 kd that proceeded to die to a guy I hip fired but 0 bullets impacted his character model and no hit markers yet I watched the rounds hit him. They disappeared or something
Ohh I was than killed 7 times in a row after that. Insane ended the round with like a 1.3 kd . Crazy how it pushed my aim away when the dude turned the corner
Ok this is crazy that you mentioned the aim dynamically changing. I thought I was the crazy one thinking that my mouse input would purposely move while aiming at enemies. Keep in mind this was happening on MW3. I would try and explain to my friends while playing that my mouse feels like it slightly avoids enemies. They brushed it off as if it was just my aim that was bad. The worst feeling knowing that i knew something was wrong but there was no evidence to prove otherwise. Its such a crazy theory that theres no way that people would believe it. And thats how activision has been getting away with it. It sounds so crazy that when people talk about it, they are called bad players. Biggest gaslight from activision.

Ive personally been on the other side of this. Im about an average player sitting around a 1.25 KD and i had a game that was just an absolute struggle to do anything in then around the mid match i started to notice that there were so many gunfights that i shouldn't of survived. I normally play with very slow LMGs because they are my favorite and by time i ADS and start shooting im somehow winning against meta builds while im playing like a bot. I was even shocked that i survived so many bullets and it was extremely noticeable.
I see this often, I always wondered if this was orginally part of the anti-cheat detection where certain settings would be tweaked at random to test if the player was getting consistent shots on target even with the game working against them... And then Activision probably asked the question to their player engagement team... Can this be used to dynamically balance a match in real time to keep players engaged where bad players are boosted so they want to play more and good players nerfed so they try harder to win, in both cases the player engages and plays another match. It's a win win for Activision.
So happy i gave up on multiplayer during MW2022 and have retired to zombies player status. such atrocious multiplayer status. Been having tons of fun on zombies, but once my game pass is up its done for me. aint nobody catching me buying a copy of this game for $70 FUCKING DOLLARS
I believe the hitboxes in this game expand and shrink depending on how well you're playing. I had too many instances where my and other people's shots registered as headshots even though they clearly were missed shots. Some noobs also 2-3 shot me when it takes me 8 to kill them
EOMM absolutely does work. My engagement is so optimized for every other game that isn’t CoD it is ridiculous. With CoD’s current system, I’m playing other games more frequently than ever before.

How have people not noticed this? I have a pedestrian 1.4 kd and it happens to me all the time. Point blank hit markers with the shotgun, 10 hit markers with an lmg from mid range. I play face off almost exclusively and see it probably 3 out of 10 matches. Probably being generous on that too.
I'm glad this isn't just me going crazy I swear so many games start with one team having a massive lead and then all of a sudden it's neck and neck. Playing hardpoint, it feels like the enemy team gets points faster if they're losing too. I died and watched a full kill cam and they'd jumped 20ish points.
Make no mistake: At a MINIMUM, the issue is their garbage net code not properly syncing player data. At the worst, the SBMM system is quite literally a DEI Matchmaker engine. I lean to somewhere in the middle of the two. ALSO: Be VERY careful with two-boxxing. It is in the territory of breaching TOS.

Yep. Nearly every game I've played has had a noticeable change at midpoint of the game. If I start of doing poor, my performance improves significantly halfway through. If I start of dominating, then I shit my pants halfway through and forget how to play.
It happened to us too, one game we winning, and all of a sudden, new guys came in and started washing us like crazy. It’s so unfair You play good the game punishes you, even mid game
One thing I want to add is everyone who is struggling, try to slow it down, you don’t need to run and gun, have fun, use a sniper, try out the lmg and just spray it or bust out the rocket launcher.. I’m working on camos and I noticed when I’m smg mode it’s sweaty, when it’s ar it’s half and half, when it’s launchers it’s like half of the people have them.. I really believe the game picks up how you play, I’m in the Midwest and I’m always in lobbies with people from Canada down to Texas, some are good and some are new but when I played (on split screen today) and I had a level 1 never played the game person with me and got maybe 1 kill… the lobbies didn’t get easier or different, it’s just the luck of the draw and how you play
Ok so now I don’t feel like I’m losing my mind. Exactly the same things happened to me quite often. Thought it was just me being tired, my internet, my controller, my tv or just me. But I know I’m not that bad at playing cod.

I cannot express this enough : DO NOT BUY THE GAME TWICE. DO NOT BUY GAME PASS TWICE. If they're generating twice the revenue off of the same person then they've won. They drove you into this insanity by making the base game unplayable without a full squad. My advice is simply and exclusively play with a team of 3-4 people otherwise it's unplayable.
I can confirm. I've had a terrible match, then in the match after it looks like enemies are using underpowered guns against me and I'm winning gunfights I shouldn't have. It's like I have more health, or the enemies damage me less. Then this goes away after a while, so it changes during the match. What has this series come to? I'm a super-fan of the original Black Ops, I skipped the last few CODs and trying this one on Game Pass... It's just sad.
How it goes for me part of the time is I'll be shredding the lobby then like halfway through I'll get the absolute worst checkmate spawns ever and can't kill an enemy to save my life...literally. On a side note, I find it funny people blaming Treyarch for the color palette, specifically Hacienda, but in reality it's Insanity Ward's fault.

That fact that if you don’t play cod for like 6 mths or more, jump on one day and for your first 3 matches the games runs flawlessly and your aim feels like it is on point when you should be rusty and need to get warmed but you are dominating off the bat.Then after those three matches you can’t hit shit and feels like aim assist is non existent, you struggle to get kills even though the lobby has all the same players as the first 3 matches. I’m an average player at best but It shows that it’s not a skill issue, these games have some shady shit going on in the background. In all the cods now. Even the old ones don’t feel the same.
What if they made SBMM so bad because they knew people were already 2 boxing and they knew that would mean that it would carry over and people would buy the game twice.
I had my best game ever in BO6 last night. The next round, the entire round felt like I was delayed. Imagine lag...but very consistent lag...like a drifting lag. Everything I did was a split second later than I was used to. It was very strange. When I mentioned it to the lobby, others had similar experiences. I figured it was my system, but maybe it was the games internal system slowing down my progress. I am not good at all but I am trying to get better and level up my guns. It just feels very bizarre at times. Like you said, sometimes I can kill players quickly and other players are simply impossible to kill.

This game is gaslight central!! Ive been playing 14 years and had all these thoughts within day 2. And the fact that they all are being confirmed makes me feel so good.
Now, I'm not a CoD God, I'm pretty casual, big zombies fan, my aim is mid, my prestige 2 KD is 1.4, my W/L is .89 on most game modes. Whenever I queue up, I get 1 or 2 games where I pop off, usually top 3 with like a 2.5~2.9 KD (depends if I'm random queueing into a kill based game mode or not, map usually doesn't matter) and the next 3 games my team is either full of actual short bus children, the fingerless mafia, or tent pitching boy scouts who seemingly never want to camp on the objective, and on the enemy team it feels like I'm facing off against 5 T-100s being led by MF RAMBO. I can remember one match where near point blank range, I got the drop on some dude, sprayed 15 rounds from my XM4 into his back, he turns on me with some ranky-dank SMG and basically says "Nah, G, I got that plot armor" and kills me with what felt like 5 bullets, I watch the kill feed, and it looked like he turned half-way around, then his aim assist snitched on me DIRTY. Was this a one-off coincidence? IDK but I hope so, I'm cherry picking one instance that felt sussy from over 50 hours played, almost half that time being in multiplayer. I usually play on 34 ping, when I boot up my main game, Tekken 8, I play on around 30 and never have an issue on my end. I have wired ethernet and the best IP my money can buy, I take gaming a little more serious than the casual player but I don't like to sweat. When I queue up for a BO6 round, it might search for a lobby with 56 ping, I get into the game, now it's bouncing off the walls from 50 to 120, in a lot of these instances, it's when I'm running up on dudes trying to knife them or plant semmies on them for fun, I don't want to say it frustrates me, but man is it plane as day, all I can do is roll my eyes. I can maybe muster the mental integrity to play 5-6 games, than it's back to zombies. Even from a casual perspective, we can see it, it's in our faces, and they're telling us it's not there?
That what hapend to Nero seems to be the anti lag mechanism. When people from far away connect to your lobby, the anti lag parameters are stretched to their limits. There's not much you can do about it except for not having people this far apart connect to eachother in the first place.
My last match was pretty fun (domination on nuketown, rarely ever touch mp). The enemy team had a very good sniper who would near instantly take you out if you peak his view. They were decimating us, but we weren't giving up so easily. Finally, I was able to adapt and overcome the sniper in many challenges mid game. We were finally coming back from behind, keeping 2 flags for a good amount of time. Unfortunately, 2 of my teammates had backed out near the end, and we lost the match. It became a very fun and close match that we could have won if we didn't lose 2 players near the end. All in all, I main zombies and only touch mp if I'm really bored or close to a final level.
The solution for it, at least a way to have fun with it and mess with it, is to have a smoke grenade class (You can equip 3 at once with a launcher) and just throw them everywhere, constantly. Every time you get killed, throw 3 more
We all suspected this back in 2009 during MW2, when you would unclip a full RPK into someone, and the same thing happened then, with a 4 full green bar connection, in the end most of the guys I played Core with ended up onto Hardcore because they got so pissed off with it, they've never returned back, their isn't much difference now anyhow due to how insane the TTK is between the modes. As for the server and connection issues, it's also over on MW3 now as well, Invasion is almost unplayable now, in my testing, the same issues, dsync, rubberbanding in pretty much every lobby, but the connection at the top is normal, no packet loss, yeah what a placebo just like Ricochet is.
I think its crazy they will hide the killcams. Once i saw a best play and the guy was lasering with no recoil on the new gun and im just thinking what the heck am i watching. This guy was losing the entire match and now has the aim of a cheater/pro. Im tired of fps games
THIS HAS BEEN IN THE GAME SINCE 2019. I am in OCE and mm pool is small so it's waaaaay more aggressive. Me and a friend were easily top 10 in OCE gunfight on coldwar but due to so few opponents 1 in 10 matches would be noobs who 1 shot you with terrible guns while looking at the walls or ground, and are virtually unkillable.
If you played HC modes on MW3 and use tac stance, you will notice when the game stops your gun from firing or delays your gun from firing or magically makes all your shots miss. In HC SnD, my team would be getting smoked, I'd start camping back to prevent deaths, I'd be last alive, and boom, the game would come up and let me shred their team, no missed shots no fire delay. Bal27 which is a one shot AR so that means the server has to do something visible like stop my gun from shooting, or make it miss.
In your case, since you couldn't see him in that short period of time, it's likely he had a stim. If this happens again, I think you can view other player's perspectives in theater mode, but I'm not 100% sure about that as I've never used BO6's theater mode. I did have a similar experience where I was chasing down this guy through one of the Nuketown houses and I kept on shooting him in the back like 3 or 4 times each and then he just turned around and shotgunned me in the head. It's possible he was using like multiple stims, but still weird. I'm still not convinced Skill Based Damage is actually real though.
When i I'm playing multiplayer I mostly play hard point and such but the game is always tied in score. And even if my team loses everyone still has a positive kd on my team. I feel like especially with hard point even on nuketown no one can be bothered to go for the obj because of how sweaty and fast paced it is. Just feels like an esports match every single match.

Honestly, I gotta give Treyarch props. I don't know how in the world they managed to take 100 health pool and make it feel like 300 health when you're shooting at someone, but at the same time your health pool feels like 20 when you die instantly to every enemy.

Nobody noticed the worst thing sbmm did to us over the past years? I see it in nearly every video. I was a cod gamer since cod4 and it was a run and gun shooter. Now not only has the skill Gap widely decreased but the number of camping pussies who play like they'll die irl if they die in game has increased probably 10 fold since 2007. Every pub match you play will have at least one camper, guaranteed. That never used to be a reliable assumption.

I also noticed this. When I’m doing better than I usually do, every time I get near 30-40 kills the game begins to continually spawn me in front of enemies, my gun doesn’t do as much damage, enemies kill me almost immediately, enemies spawn behind me etc etc. Always happens near the end of the game as well.

At that point I caught on to the match manipulation, so I tried to play really bad.
An enemy would throw a grenade at a car, I'd run at the grenade without EOD. I'd be within knifing distance of the grenade AND car explosion and wouldn't die.
Meanwhile a buddy would be 5+ meters away from the same grenade with EOD and get absolutely nuked. Every. Single. Time.
Only shocking thing about this news is it took everyone until bo6 to figure it out.

I've recorded about 30 of my matches and I've noticed as soon as one team starts dominating, the other team gets some kinda damage or health buff. When I join into matches that are 30-70 score, I kill in 3-4 body shots with SMGs, but when I'm in a game where my team is winning, the exact same SMG from the same range drop off damage, it ups it to 5-7 bullets to the body. It's not every match, usually every other match, but it's insane that it's a thing that happens at all.

I’m an extremely average player, and I almost exclusively play hard-core mode, I notice these things too if I dare to go on a five or 10 kill streak, it’s like the game then turns around and says wow buddy no you’re a one KD guy, and then my sprint to fire is Nerfed and I’m shooting marshmallows at them, and spawn in-front of enemies untill my kd is back to 1ish, then it reverts back to normal
The spawning part is weird to me. Sometimes it really does feel rigged. There will be points where I spawn in between 2-3 enemies MULTIPLE TIMES IN A ROW. In the same spot, during the same match. Literally. And it happens on large maps too, which doesn't make sense to me.
I'm a very average player so I don't see the point of nerfing me during matches, but there are times where things really do feel off. I have literally spawned on top of an enemy before. I don't remember that being a thing back in MW2 and World at War. In all fairness that was a long time ago and my memory is crap, but still. I know spawn killing is a thing and what not, but sometimes it genuinely feels like I'm being spawned somewhere to be instantly killed on purpose. Yeah, could be a skill issue for me. At the same time, I'm not sure why I get spawned in a crowd of enemies multiple times in a match. That doesn't seem fair. It's one thing if it happens on super small maps, I mean I could see that being a coincidence, but it seems to happen to me on large maps more frequently than what I would consider coincidence. Idk. Something weird really might be going on behind the scenes.

I think the worst thing that happened to me in this game was I was on Nuketown, and I had bullets come out of the ground and shoot me. Only for an enemy to come in and slide into the point where the bullets came from. Guy was basically time traveling.

All of the guns feel like they have rapid fire built into them, the ttk will take 3-5 bullets to kill someone depending on the gunfight but when you get shot you die instantly.

I had a game of domination where my team started out like 120-60. Then for whatever reason, my entire team quits and me and one guy won the game 200-197. Went from a casual pubstomp to the sweatiest match I played all day. Just another strange “coincidence” I’m sure 😅
one thing i love about watching other people play bo6 is they never seem to get killed 7 times before successfully cocking the gun and when i do manage to get 6 kills theyll start spawning infront and behind me. I cant look 360 degrees at all times, I get being unlucky but everytime the same people spawning in behind me after i just killed them and then i watch the best play and its the worst player on the server getting 5 kills because of people just getting unlucky and spawning with their back turned to them.

That's because of how Borked the Spawns are, when people on your team push too hard into the Enemy spawn, the spawns keep flipping...
I've had Spawns Flip like 15 times in about 30 seconds before and it's honestly annoying af, Like where tf am I supposed to look if enemies are coming at me from absolutely every direction.
100%....MP matches are rigged in this game. I've been in Domination matches partied up as a 6 man, and multiple times now we start the game smashing the other team with 2 flags capped, sometimes 3 flags capped briefly. Then, like a switch is flipped half way through and we get our asses handed to us. Like, literally the enemy team triple caps us and none of us can win gun fights. And nothing we did seemed to work and help us come back. We were on Vault map the other night and the enemy team triple capped us and it was impossible for us to cap even a single flag. B06 is the most fake, rigged, and bizarre COD ever released.
I’ve been on both ends of this. There’s times where I’m fragging out my mind then go on a death streak to lose the game. And then there’s times where I’m getting shredded then like half way through my team triple caps and we come back to win the game despite my performance. Half the time if I do top frag and theres no bs my team just isn’t good enough to do anything. It’s nothing egregious like some of y’all cause my kd ain’t even that high but it makes my good games feel meh.

Same brother I’ve been playing solo and I felt it was rigged but still manage to go positive every match 3rd prestige lvl55 multiple gold guns I know what the guns feel like and today I squaded up with my buddy and it was easily my worst games I’ve played going negative multiple times and like you said at the halfway point a switch flipped all of a sudden my 3-4 shot gun turns into a 6-8 shot guns and it doesn’t matter what gun the enemies use I get 2-3 shot every time, I could literally shoot someone 4 times have them whip around and 2 shot chest shot me my guns turned into airsoft and my health was lower than normal me and my friend both noticed and both have atleast 5 clips where we recorded just to make sure we weren’t being sore losers but no the game was rigged, started playing solo right after and it went back to being more consistent and me going positive and doing good even my bad matches I go positive playing with a friend it’s like I have hardcore health while everyone else is playing normally

I’m a bad player and EOMM don’t help me either. I used to be a 0.4.06 KD average. So far with the little time played in MP. I have a 0.99 KD and it probably will go down more once I finish everything on zombies right now. And it still don’t help me. SBMM helps no one. Bad players, good players, above average players, lower average players no matter what “skill” bracket you are it does not help.
Two boxing does not help either cause my matches get ruined so I quit a lot more. HOWEVER. Do I blame people for doing that? No. I can ATLEAST SEE even as a BAD PLAYER. How annoyed how pissed the amazing players get when SBMM/EOMM fucks them over.
I really enjoy the SBMM the only thing that annoys me is when im the only skilled person on my team and the whole other team has equally skilled players or slightly better for example i had a tdm match on babylon and i got 39 kills and the game ended with us losing 80 - 100 i was upset because i was half the teams kills i could understand losing 90 - 100 95 - 100 but anything less than 85 is a terrible team
They're inflating bad players KDs with the stupid "elimination" for assist crap. That's how they try to force people to maintain a 1.0 KD. Can go the entire game without getting a kill. Just fire 1 bullet into enemies and as long as your teammates kill them boom you killed them to.

@Bewleyy sbmm decides your skill bracket based on score per min, overall score, objective score, kills/deaths, and wins/loses. It still boosts a players sbmm so even if they aren't good they are going to go against better players sooner than later.
Sbmm doesn't really affect good players tbh it's literally meant for bad players so they don't get stomped constantly
I'm still dropping 40+ kills on a normal match even though I have 120 ms. (Im in Cambodia and Japan is the nearest server for COD to me) and I'm using Mouse Keyboard on my PS5.
When EOMM kicks in, your team is like a magnet on enemies gun, meanwhile me losing to a handgun face to face while my crosshair is at the face of my enemy with almost 40 bullets of my VAL.

If you want testimony from someone that isn't very good and doesn't take the game that seriously, I can't count the number of times I will start up a game, i die like 6 times very quickly, then seemingly out of nowhere and without changing anything I start playing better and start getting kills and end the game with around a 1.0 kda.
Same thing happens with me except ill get 10 kills right off the start, and honestly will not get another kill till I've died at least 8 times. Grenades spawn out of nowhere in front of me when I run, I get aim resist, my guns shoot plastic pellets etc. Then I die, my spawn is right in front of an enemy etc haha. So stupid

Solo Queue without running into Seal Team 6, fastest connections and SBMM/EOMM off.

Just started up some matches. First got pocketbursted 3 times, my shots didn't register. Just quit the match.
Second match. Same thing. Just turned of the game. Not playing this💩 anymore. It's completly redicoulus how they nerf your gameplay to get you back down to a 1 kd.
They do nerf you midmatch. Spawn enemies behind you. Spawn you in the open. It's so incredibly bad. It completly kills this game.

When you were talking about how you would aim and the aim assist wasn’t sticking, I felt that. I’ve experienced that a lot in my games. It’s like if you took two magnets and you tried to connect both of the same magnetic fields. It’s almost as if it forces your aim away.
This game is absolute trash, no matter what I do in any match or game mode as soon as I break the 3 kill death ratio threshold I get nerfed into the ground and my guns start shooting marshmallows as well as getting aim resist constantly, most call of duty games I’m a 2.5 kill death player and on this game I struggle to maintain a 1.55 but “data” or not you can actively and immediately feel when the switch flips and the nerfs power up it feels like an entirely different game
This is my first CoD since Ghosts, yesterday I was rocking out on a merciless streak and all of a sudden I couldn't get a kill. Happened mid match, it was like a switch went off and my shots didn't want to connect. I'm rusty sure, but Jesus it was something else. I went from a 4kd to ending the match with a 1.3(which ironically is just under my overall average).
I loved CoD back in the day and was looking forward to getting back into it, but my god this is unbearable. I could literally feel when the SBMM kicked in, that added to the desync is just too much.
Edit: I would consider getting SBMM Off if they had a monthly plan, not locking in for a year on something like that.

Thousands of people experience this stuff, myself included. The game is garbage, If anyone you know calls BS invite them over and let them play on YOUR account after you play the first game. I've done it and had friends join my lobby and in both instances they are wondering wtf is going on. They want to get off before the game even ENDS, or leave my party. To add a next level of pain, I’ve been playing since Cod4, and I game on a hotspot. My NAT is strict. They double down with SBMM with me. Also, this game remembers what you did in all the previous call of duties back to 2019. I played one match, rank one with nobody else in the lobby less than 50 rank, I couldn’t even move, sweat all over, backed out and never played another match. Off to X.
The same thing happened to me when I was playing against my girlfriend in a private match. There was a 45-minute time limit, 45 kills to win, and the game mode was free for all. She had 10 kills, and I had like 30, I started getting packet bursts lagging hard. On top of that, my aim assist wasn't working either. However, when she caught up, my game started working perfectly fine. I can't even play with my girlfriend, one on one.
Man even infected doesn't even feel as good as before. They just made every gun slow and added extra zombies.
I wouldn't have an issue with the zombies but now players can't even hide to be the last person

I have also another interesting experiment I did, which basically showed me that SBMM is not really about the stats, but more so about how agressive you move around the map.
Try to play the game normally, but don't jump, don't slide and don't tac sprint, only regular sprinting. And try to look around a bit slower than usual (either drop your sens or just move your stick less). Other than that, just aim regularly in your gunfights, you don't need to die on purpose.
Now watch how your enemies playstyle changes and how it also affects your future matches, it is really interesting 🌚
What I found: your enemies will move less and play a bit more passive, but if you still get an agressive player in the enemy team, then somehow magically you will still be able to kill them most of the time, while playing in your slower playstyle.
Almost like the faster you play, the more you get an added delay to your gameplay, so that enemies who don't play this quick will still have a chance to react to you.
Same thing happens to me. I hate this game. My weapons deal less damage, my hit dont even hit sometimes, my aim assist turns off and ill even get aim resist. They also prevent me from switching to keyboard and mouse mid match which is stupid and there is no reason to go up against keyboard and mouse players and controller players in a match and not be able to switch mid match. Its bulls***

That happened to me tonight on warhead. Popped off on the start of the round, locked the whole center house down, had an 11.0 kd that proceeded to die to a guy I hip fired but 0 bullets impacted his character model and no hit markers yet I watched the rounds hit him. They disappeared or something
Ohh I was than killed 7 times in a row after that. Insane ended the round with like a 1.3 kd . Crazy how it pushed my aim away when the dude turned the corner
Ok this is crazy that you mentioned the aim dynamically changing. I thought I was the crazy one thinking that my mouse input would purposely move while aiming at enemies. Keep in mind this was happening on MW3. I would try and explain to my friends while playing that my mouse feels like it slightly avoids enemies. They brushed it off as if it was just my aim that was bad. The worst feeling knowing that i knew something was wrong but there was no evidence to prove otherwise. Its such a crazy theory that theres no way that people would believe it. And thats how activision has been getting away with it. It sounds so crazy that when people talk about it, they are called bad players. Biggest gaslight from activision.

Ive personally been on the other side of this. Im about an average player sitting around a 1.25 KD and i had a game that was just an absolute struggle to do anything in then around the mid match i started to notice that there were so many gunfights that i shouldn't of survived. I normally play with very slow LMGs because they are my favorite and by time i ADS and start shooting im somehow winning against meta builds while im playing like a bot. I was even shocked that i survived so many bullets and it was extremely noticeable.
I see this often, I always wondered if this was orginally part of the anti-cheat detection where certain settings would be tweaked at random to test if the player was getting consistent shots on target even with the game working against them...
And then Activision probably asked the question to their player engagement team... Can this be used to dynamically balance a match in real time to keep players engaged where bad players are boosted so they want to play more and good players nerfed so they try harder to win, in both cases the player engages and plays another match. It's a win win for Activision.

I've has many instances where the aim assists gets me killed. It pushes my aim away from enemies and sometimes I play better without it honestly.
I believe the hitboxes in this game expand and shrink depending on how well you're playing. I had too many instances where my and other people's shots registered as headshots even though they clearly were missed shots. Some noobs also 2-3 shot me when it takes me 8 to kill them

How have people not noticed this? I have a pedestrian 1.4 kd and it happens to me all the time. Point blank hit markers with the shotgun, 10 hit markers with an lmg from mid range. I play face off almost exclusively and see it probably 3 out of 10 matches. Probably being generous on that too.
I'm glad this isn't just me going crazy I swear so many games start with one team having a massive lead and then all of a sudden it's neck and neck.
Playing hardpoint, it feels like the enemy team gets points faster if they're losing too. I died and watched a full kill cam and they'd jumped 20ish points.
Make no mistake: At a MINIMUM, the issue is their garbage net code not properly syncing player data. At the worst, the SBMM system is quite literally a DEI Matchmaker engine.
I lean to somewhere in the middle of the two.

Yep. Nearly every game I've played has had a noticeable change at midpoint of the game. If I start of doing poor, my performance improves significantly halfway through. If I start of dominating, then I shit my pants halfway through and forget how to play.

One thing I want to add is everyone who is struggling, try to slow it down, you don’t need to run and gun, have fun, use a sniper, try out the lmg and just spray it or bust out the rocket launcher.. I’m working on camos and I noticed when I’m smg mode it’s sweaty, when it’s ar it’s half and half, when it’s launchers it’s like half of the people have them.. I really believe the game picks up how you play, I’m in the Midwest and I’m always in lobbies with people from Canada down to Texas, some are good and some are new but when I played (on split screen today) and I had a level 1 never played the game person with me and got maybe 1 kill… the lobbies didn’t get easier or different, it’s just the luck of the draw and how you play

DO NOT BUY THE GAME TWICE. DO NOT BUY GAME PASS TWICE. If they're generating twice the revenue off of the same person then they've won. They drove you into this insanity by making the base game unplayable without a full squad.
My advice is simply and exclusively play with a team of 3-4 people otherwise it's unplayable.
I can confirm. I've had a terrible match, then in the match after it looks like enemies are using underpowered guns against me and I'm winning gunfights I shouldn't have. It's like I have more health, or the enemies damage me less. Then this goes away after a while, so it changes during the match. What has this series come to? I'm a super-fan of the original Black Ops, I skipped the last few CODs and trying this one on Game Pass... It's just sad.
How it goes for me part of the time is I'll be shredding the lobby then like halfway through I'll get the absolute worst checkmate spawns ever and can't kill an enemy to save my life...literally. On a side note, I find it funny people blaming Treyarch for the color palette, specifically Hacienda, but in reality it's Insanity Ward's fault.
To achieve real change, it’s crucial for some of the biggest streamers in the community to lead a movement where all players, including those who might not follow these creators, unite and stop playing the game for a few days or weeks. Only then will Activision be compelled to address the SBMM issue. Complaining without taking action only prolongs the problem, but if the most influential figures in the community spearhead this effort, we can create a genuine impact and drive the change we’re all hoping for.
My favorite is when the other team starts getting preferential spawns when they're losing by too much.
That fact that if you don’t play cod for like 6 mths or more, jump on one day and for your first 3 matches the games runs flawlessly and your aim feels like it is on point when you should be rusty and need to get warmed but you are dominating off the bat.Then after those three matches you can’t hit shit and feels like aim assist is non existent, you struggle to get kills even though the lobby has all the same players as the first 3 matches. I’m an average player at best but It shows that it’s not a skill issue, these games have some shady shit going on in the background. In all the cods now. Even the old ones don’t feel the same.

I had my best game ever in BO6 last night. The next round, the entire round felt like I was delayed. Imagine lag...but very consistent lag...like a drifting lag. Everything I did was a split second later than I was used to. It was very strange. When I mentioned it to the lobby, others had similar experiences. I figured it was my system, but maybe it was the games internal system slowing down my progress. I am not good at all but I am trying to get better and level up my guns. It just feels very bizarre at times. Like you said, sometimes I can kill players quickly and other players are simply impossible to kill.

This game is gaslight central!! Ive been playing 14 years and had all these thoughts within day 2. And the fact that they all are being confirmed makes me feel so good.
Now, I'm not a CoD God, I'm pretty casual, big zombies fan, my aim is mid, my prestige 2 KD is 1.4, my W/L is .89 on most game modes. Whenever I queue up, I get 1 or 2 games where I pop off, usually top 3 with like a 2.5~2.9 KD (depends if I'm random queueing into a kill based game mode or not, map usually doesn't matter) and the next 3 games my team is either full of actual short bus children, the fingerless mafia, or tent pitching boy scouts who seemingly never want to camp on the objective, and on the enemy team it feels like I'm facing off against 5 T-100s being led by MF RAMBO.
I can remember one match where near point blank range, I got the drop on some dude, sprayed 15 rounds from my XM4 into his back, he turns on me with some ranky-dank SMG and basically says "Nah, G, I got that plot armor" and kills me with what felt like 5 bullets, I watch the kill feed, and it looked like he turned half-way around, then his aim assist snitched on me DIRTY. Was this a one-off coincidence? IDK but I hope so, I'm cherry picking one instance that felt sussy from over 50 hours played, almost half that time being in multiplayer.
I usually play on 34 ping, when I boot up my main game, Tekken 8, I play on around 30 and never have an issue on my end. I have wired ethernet and the best IP my money can buy, I take gaming a little more serious than the casual player but I don't like to sweat.
When I queue up for a BO6 round, it might search for a lobby with 56 ping, I get into the game, now it's bouncing off the walls from 50 to 120, in a lot of these instances, it's when I'm running up on dudes trying to knife them or plant semmies on them for fun, I don't want to say it frustrates me, but man is it plane as day, all I can do is roll my eyes.
I can maybe muster the mental integrity to play 5-6 games, than it's back to zombies. Even from a casual perspective, we can see it, it's in our faces, and they're telling us it's not there?
That what hapend to Nero seems to be the anti lag mechanism. When people from far away connect to your lobby, the anti lag parameters are stretched to their limits. There's not much you can do about it except for not having people this far apart connect to eachother in the first place.
My last match was pretty fun (domination on nuketown, rarely ever touch mp). The enemy team had a very good sniper who would near instantly take you out if you peak his view. They were decimating us, but we weren't giving up so easily. Finally, I was able to adapt and overcome the sniper in many challenges mid game. We were finally coming back from behind, keeping 2 flags for a good amount of time. Unfortunately, 2 of my teammates had backed out near the end, and we lost the match. It became a very fun and close match that we could have won if we didn't lose 2 players near the end.
All in all, I main zombies and only touch mp if I'm really bored or close to a final level.
The solution for it, at least a way to have fun with it and mess with it, is to have a smoke grenade class (You can equip 3 at once with a launcher) and just throw them everywhere, constantly. Every time you get killed, throw 3 more
We all suspected this back in 2009 during MW2, when you would unclip a full RPK into someone, and the same thing happened then, with a 4 full green bar connection, in the end most of the guys I played Core with ended up onto Hardcore because they got so pissed off with it, they've never returned back, their isn't much difference now anyhow due to how insane the TTK is between the modes.
As for the server and connection issues, it's also over on MW3 now as well, Invasion is almost unplayable now, in my testing, the same issues, dsync, rubberbanding in pretty much every lobby, but the connection at the top is normal, no packet loss, yeah what a placebo just like Ricochet is.
I think its crazy they will hide the killcams. Once i saw a best play and the guy was lasering with no recoil on the new gun and im just thinking what the heck am i watching. This guy was losing the entire match and now has the aim of a cheater/pro. Im tired of fps games

I am in OCE and mm pool is small so it's waaaaay more aggressive. Me and a friend were easily top 10 in OCE gunfight on coldwar but due to so few opponents 1 in 10 matches would be noobs who 1 shot you with terrible guns while looking at the walls or ground, and are virtually unkillable.
Because the MM pool is so small here it just activates way more. For context on my skill my peak kd on tarkov was 20. Yes, twenty.
If you played HC modes on MW3 and use tac stance, you will notice when the game stops your gun from firing or delays your gun from firing or magically makes all your shots miss. In HC SnD, my team would be getting smoked, I'd start camping back to prevent deaths, I'd be last alive, and boom, the game would come up and let me shred their team, no missed shots no fire delay. Bal27 which is a one shot AR so that means the server has to do something visible like stop my gun from shooting, or make it miss.
In your case, since you couldn't see him in that short period of time, it's likely he had a stim. If this happens again, I think you can view other player's perspectives in theater mode, but I'm not 100% sure about that as I've never used BO6's theater mode.
I did have a similar experience where I was chasing down this guy through one of the Nuketown houses and I kept on shooting him in the back like 3 or 4 times each and then he just turned around and shotgunned me in the head. It's possible he was using like multiple stims, but still weird. I'm still not convinced Skill Based Damage is actually real though.
When i I'm playing multiplayer I mostly play hard point and such but the game is always tied in score.
And even if my team loses everyone still has a positive kd on my team.
I feel like especially with hard point even on nuketown no one can be bothered to go for the obj because of how sweaty and fast paced it is.
Just feels like an esports match every single match.
