The business class bar and lounge at the back of the upper deck was a great idea :D and that just adds to how cool the plane is along with having a personal minibar at your seat for business class.

Great video! Especially loved the take off & landing. The Emirates lounge in Brisbane looks quite lovely with a good looking selection of food. Hope it tasted as good as it looked.

Where was this flight to and from? The title says DBX to BNE, but the menu says Aukland to Brisbane. And where is the lounge you showed?

By far the best Emirates trip report I've seen yet! I always fly out of Melbourne, I've always gotten a new aircraft out and an old one back, whereas if I had chosen Sydney or Brisbane I would have had the older a/c! Always gotta keep your fingers crossed with the IFE, especially with the 77Ws and especially especially with the 2 class 77Ws :)

Hi Travel Expert. Excellent video. This is not the first video I have seen you state that seat 23K is the best seat. I will be traveling AKL to DXB in October and have chosen this seat from your comments. Do you not find that there is noise from the bar (from other comments on another website)?

This was almost excellent, the only problem, too short! Thanks for taking time showing the IFE and I thought you were going to hang out at the bar, but to my sadness you turned away. Well, make longer videos. People can always fast-fwd. Are you still making more videos?

Check in experience at Delhi was the worst I've had for years. Load of economy passengers mixed. Took my luggage apart for being 2 kgs over.

The menu says that the flight is from Auckland to Brisbane
Ek435 used to be Auckland to Dubai via Brisbane but that stopped in 2018 as Qantas now uses a A330 between AKL TO BNE & transfers passengers about 4 hours before 8:45pm departure (video is a couple of years old).

What was the rattling noise just before rotation?
Nothing to be worried about - caused by ground friction between tyres / surface of runway and as roll resistance lessens with the gathering of speed. In the cockpit some of us term it Rattle & Hum because of the sounds you are hearing.
Emirates take off on the A380 always sounds like that. I noticed that.

Didn't look like there was much choice for vegetarians on the dinner menu. Do special meals still have to be pre-ordered in business class?
On the Emirates website a variety of meal options are available, my cousin chose a low fat meal for our flights recently
+Simon Goodall (vegetarianandveganlife) yeah i'd flown Emirates last year and I had ordered my vegetarian hindu meal (vegetarian, no eggs, no fish) and I had a lovely meal, really enjoyed it :)
Personal mini bar is pointless, if the drinks are warm.

Oh yeah and what happened to the amenity kit? I was really looking forward to it. No where to be seen. When I asked they said we don't do it anymore. Outbound and inbound. Maybe they only give in first now

+the Luxury Travel Expert yep. None on way out but I forgot about it then I watched this video so on the way back I made a point to ask for it and was told they don't have any. Maybe it's only for real long haul flights. But what really got to me in the business class check was a big group of economy passengers. So I pay 4 times as much and have to wait for all them? Not good enough
Really now?? That is quite interesting as I flew Emirates Business Class from Dubai to Dallas and back in March/April 2916. Both times received amenity/toiletry kits complete with Bvlgari aftershave/parfum/lotion. And it was aboard a Boeing 777. 15 hour non-stop long haul flight I might add.

I got a business class seat on the Emirates A380 for free because they canceled my ticket that was confirmed due to overbooking

Experts say that its best to avoid alcohol during a flight. However one sees an abundance of alcohol in the business class lounges & the sky bars aboard the aircraft. Doesn't this fly in the face of that established wisdom ? What do the readers/viewers say.

President Oxford In other videos he said he doesn’t like alcohol when airborne because it’s very dehydrating. I can relate. It’s all good in the lounge or before take off, but I feel terrible once I have landed. Just a personal preference, though.
