An incredible journey crossing the globe - what a way to travel! The entire experience looked flawless with such attention to detail detail, like the carafe for your wine and service at the bar. I am very impressed and one day would only hope to be able to travel to Australia this way. Hats off to you for surviving the Caviar Vodka too! Quite the advert for Emirates, thanks for sharing 🥇👏

looks amazing , im flying Etihad A380 Bussines at Christmas to Abu Dhabi and then on to Thailand , I was in Bussines on the Singapore A380 last year ,amazing planes

When you check in, don’t forget to tell them you want to join the mile high club, makes the flight time go faster, plus you feel like a new man when you land in Bangkok.

Hey Adam, I recently done that same trip. Absolutely incredible. Also sat in 1K and 4A but did the Auckland - Dubai -London and then in reverse 3 weeks later. Love the video.

Great trip report. The new finishes in their first class look definitely better than before. I do wish though that instead of installing new finishes, they would come out with an all new A380 first class like the 777 game changer

I flew first class on emirates and sat in 1k too . from lhr to dxb last may 23 “ being ex crew aswell , I couldn’t believe how rude a crew member was over asking for an amenity kit on demand “

Thanks for a simply great video, super informative. I’m making that flight myself in 6 weeks, except I’m flying out of Manchester instead of London, but heading home to Perth via Dubai. Funnily enough I’m even in the same seat as you were lol, except 1A on the flight to Dubai and 1K from Dubai to Perth. This is definitely a bucket list flight for me, and it’s going to be so worth the cost (no sponsorship or miles for me lol). One thing I’d recommend too is trying the Hennessy Paradis (exclusive to First Class). I’m so looking forward to both flights, and especially having a shower at 40,000ft 😁. Thanks again, it’s been fun to watch what I have in store.

i've never been a fan of Emirates' bling interiors, and the snacks & pointless beverages on hand all add to aa physical and aesthetic busy-ness that i personally cannot handle. however that was an excellent serving of caviar, just as it should be, and i have mad respect for that.
As a regular FC customer on Emirates etc I can say it’s even better now brilliant service and quality standards
Certainly better than Qantas by 100 times

not worth it. only business class is necessary if u have a bad back, so you can lay down. the food is avg. save your money/cc points for a nice vacation stay.

The meals (and drinks) are free of charge in both the business and first class lounges. The only difference is that the first class lounge is a la cart dining with a waiter ; whilst it’s a buffet style service in the business Lounge.

I’ve only ever flown economy because I’m horribly frugal. Looks great there but I’ll continue to save money. I really don’t mind roughing it up if I can save a buck.
There’s always an opportunity with frequent flyer points too 😃

I booked from AU - business class return was roughly $9k AUD ; and paid an extra $4k AUD for first class on the London-Dubai-Perth segment home..

Great video! I was just wondering on how many people here enjoy the Emirates boarding music? I flew Emirates last may and I found it highly annoying. Not very relaxing or classy in my opinion.
