  • In this video I'm changing the DCT (DKG) transmission oil in my BMW F10 M5. Same gearbox is used in M2/M3/M4 so the process should be similar.
While changing the oil I noticed that some of the brand new cans of MOTUL DCTF had different fluid color. I discovered that the bottles dated 2022 had much lighter color than those made in 2023.
If anyone know why this could be, please let me know in the comments :)
Please check also below detailed videos about DCT oil change made by ‪@bavhaustv9795‬ and ‪@WillsGarageOfficial‬

    - follow the procedure in ISTA

Where are the oil pan parts from and what are the part numbers?

@@ammankalyan7460 I bought from local eshop. There is no specific part number for gasket as BMW doesnt sell them separately, but if you search for for the whole pan, you can find sellers who sell gasket only. The PN is 28107842385

Hi there. I can’t give you any links, I can only tell you “google it”.
BMW diagnostics and coding is a big topic on its own - I can recommend a channel called BimmerDoc (@BimDoc)- the guy is very knowledgeable and can explain things very vell.
