- Plumbing Quotes can be time consuming so we thought we would try something a little different on this job, quoting the job without actually going to the property but did it work out?
In this episode we will be Plumbing and installing a Baxi combi 830 replacing an old Ferrolli boiler and updating some other parts of the heating including some radiators and repairing some basin taps to get this property's plumbing ready for the new family.
We encountered problems straight away and they got worse when we tried to core the new flue hole, but plumbers are problems solvers so see how we overcome these hurdles.
Also we will be trying out a new range of @velocityprogear bags including the Rouge 7.0 and the 3.5 jobbing to see if it helps us with our few days work

Thanks again for your continued support it’s much appreciated 🙌👍
You come across as dead honest which is the most important trait for a tradesman
Thanks mate 👍
Good job Luke that was looking ten times better then when you started❤. I try not to take anything for granted as going blind can be costly.
Thanks mate 🙌👍👍
In every time! Top little video, I've done loads of blind quotes recently, sometimes I've been quids in, sometimes I haven't it happens 🤣
I’ve done a few but first on a boiler, your right thou win some lose some 👍
People think an Estimate is a Quote. It's not. They are two different things.
All the best.
Thanks for the education and entertainment
Thanks mate 👍👍
Really neat job in the end mate, loved the fact you tided up half way through! Clears the mind. Keep it up buddy ❤
Definitely helped out not working in chaos, your rubbing off on me 😂😂👍
Nice work and it turned out spot on you need all the water you can get with your Dad having that MUG 😂 👍👍👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🛠🍀
Mate that mug was mega, lasted all day 😂😂
Well done Luke what great job.

#yamyam
Love a snakes wedding 😂👍👍
Great video top class mate
Thanks mate 👍
That boiler job looked a right pain in arse 😢 you still did a good job of it though and the end result was still neat and tidy in my opinion. Rad valves pointing in the way looks a lot neater. Cheers for the vid
Thanks mate appreciate the support 🙌👍
Good job mate ❤
Thanks mate 🙌👍👍
Great video. Mate
Thanks mate 🙌👍
That’s my patch Stourbridge, was based in Halesowen until I moved to Stourbridge four years ago, I dont tend to work too far from home nowadays with traffic etc, but I do tend to get people to photo message me a lot of jobs as well, saves running around wasting fuel, and sometimes not getting the job as well.
Looked a bit of a ball ache of a job that as well😀
Moving in on your territory 😂 was a one off for me that far, used to go Halesowen every Monday on my apprenticeship to pick up work for week…the flue was a pain but once it was sorted wasn’t too bad, could of been better but for there in the end 👍
💯% in mate
🙌👍
When you were measuring for the radiator brackets at approx 16 minutes you added 40mm to 160mm and got 190mm ! it should have been 200mm. 🤭
😂😂😂 omg I did…you get the idea, had to get board up anyway…it does work when you add up correctly
Still a great video Luke.@@bluebulldog_uk
Spaghetti junction springs to mind lol
Really was in the wall and under the boiler 😅
" snakes wedding!" lol
😂 my favourite saying that
What a mess good luck
Great video.
Any chance of letting me know where you got the tap innerds set from and reference number.
Cheers
Bathroom spare parts mate 👍
Job looks good !
I’m not a fan of blind quoting , we do have a portal on our website which lets the customer send us information
Creates a massive backlog 😅 I prefer to meet the customer and I feel it gives them more peace of mind more than anything , also that there is an engineer behind the computer screen 😂 keep up the good work mate 👍
Thanks mate. I was thinking of one of them quote builders on my website but I think it would get abused and not very good leads, quoting in person a lot better but worked out ok on this on 👍👍
That amount of soldering would make me sick , i moved to press years ago and cant solder anymore 😂
I want to invest now but to be honest this shower tray that’s cracked is going to cost me by looks of it, see if I have any money left over once I’ve sorted it 🤔
Neat install mate fairplay. Regarding the towel rad valves, only a Philistines would put them facing outwards.
Thanks mate 🙌👍👍
Just replace manky old taps. Normally most taps need it before the flexi's fail anyways. Plus more 💰💰
Customer choice with taps just told them il repair or if they get new i will fit, wasn’t on flexis was on solid connection which is rare
That rapid blue is brilliant
Point in
snakes wedding hahahha not heard that before
😂 normally say it about wiring centres
Nice job doing that flue properly.
Towel rad valves not pointing inwards just looks wrong.
Do those tundish have a non-return valve to stop smells? I hope so...
Thanks mate, yes it has non return valve so no smells etc 👍👍
