Really good Video to improve my DIY plumbIng skills.
👊👍
Very informative video mate! Great for inexperienced plumbers or the homeowner 💪🏼
Thanks mate hope it helps someone out 👊
Gonna try the liquid ptfe see if it works hoe long did let it dry for 20mins
5/10 mins I normally give it, I normally put tails in soon as I can so it gives it more time to dry
@bluebulldog_uk Thank you liking your channel. Keep it up.
Do the black plastic parts on the back of the new radiator stay in place or should you remove these?
Remove them
I would have done the angled pipe just to get rid of the comp. coupler
This is an amazing video for a DIY first timer and misses absolutely nothing!!
I'd only point out that anyone changing valves but not the radiator might come across 3/4" fittings on the tails, but don't worry because all the threads are the same size, so just remove the old tails for the new ones and the 1/2" will still fit.
And one question.... Why not leave the magna clean taps open when adding inhibitor? That way the whole bottle will go in and then run the system for an hour to circulate and mix it?
Thanks mate 👍 hopefully it will help some people out
so with the inhibitor, the isolation valves am closed as the system is already filled up and tested for leaks before you put the inhibitor in, saves putting the inhibitor in, then on fill up finding a leak and having to drain down wasting the inhibitor
Ah, that's a very bloody good point!! Although I'm only a DIY person I've done a lot and not had a leak yet 🎉🎉
I only do solder (because I think it's best to learn properly before going to the easier plastic) but I know full well I'll get a leak at some point and now I know something I'm doing that'll piss me off when it happens 😅😅😅😅
@@NotAllTheTime your right you will get a leak…I still have them now 😂 all part of the fun
You can't open the magna clean taps cos the system is pressurised.
Thanks for the info mate
No problem 👍
Another great video.
Thanks mate 👍👍

I don’t, it’s gone beyond repair now 😳😂🤦
Is that a Black Country accent or a brummie one?
Most people dont care how you hang the rad so long as it gets hot lol
Aren't they called lazy 😅😅
Ya can cut them tail extensions with ya pipe slice pal, thank me later😂
