Man this is SICK! Wait till you see the one we are building at Eckerts Rod and Custom. We are doing a 69 Road Runner with a Hellephant, and Corvette transaxle behind it.
That was amazing it's the perfect build. 950 lbs of torque is insane. Diesel trucks that haul tons use that kind of power. The grey bumpers really did make it look sleek. Another great one for the channel.
1000 HP with stock 1968 seatbelts? Absolutely sick Charger though, I love it. I like how he kept the 68 lines and tucked in the bumpers. Wheels look nice and not too flashy.
This has always been my favorite body style the grill ,hide away lights didn't like the gray color at first but up close the color barks back at you beautiful wheel
I always appreciate the amount of work that goes into a build like this and understand that different people like different things and it's not my car, etc, etc but am I the only one who liked the "before" look better lol?
Brought a tear to my eye just thinking about how much blood, sweat and tears this man had to go through to build something like this. Good job brother!
The right mix between original and new tech. Some cars are great show pieces ,but this is a car that can be driven. The guy smiles from ear to ear about his awesome car.
I enjoyed watching this. I am in the process of building a 68 with a hellcat engine but now I might have to step up my game lol. Great build all the way around.
My father had the 69 Charger back when we were kids and sold it before heading to Vietnam. Still my favorite car, close second is the 71 Hemi 'Cuda! This is a beautiful piece of machinery in this vid
I always feel glad when I see a smile at Sean's face :-D I sometimes wish I had a job like that too :-D Best Greek greetings from Germany my man, keep up the good work ;-) !
Amazing man I have always lusted over chargers over any other car. I loved the startup sound of this machine awesome built it's just crazy. Thanks for the follow-up on the start-ups. Cheers
Heck yeah that's how you start a video off...love it when the drivers not a afraid to drive it like they stole it..that's got to be the nicest charger out there right now..
This is one of my favorite rides ever on this channel... and I've been a Chevy guy for my entire life. I can appreciate any car, though. Edit: shout out to Jimmy! As someone who's owned an auto customization shop since 2000, I'm impressed that one man built this, as a side job.
This Car is just PERFECT, my God. The Grey and Black Paintjob looks awesome, espacially with the Blue Hellephant emblems. Cant say anything about the Performance other then ITS A BEAST!
Boy would this car work in a new movie "Bullett, the son of"! 😊 Thanks for sharing. My uncle had a super Bee 🐝 and him and his friend used to race back in the early 70's before he moved to California. The car then was a beast but the sound of the car this guy put together deserves compliments no matter where he goes! Absolutely beautiful car! Kudos to you that was able to afford this build. 👍 Respect!
This is what makes me smile! That beast is a thing of beauty. I can’t even imagine what it be like to own that masterpiece? Great job on that one of kind👍🏼👍🏼
It looked better in the before pic. We're seeing many builds that are 10/10 on execution quality but 5/10 on design aesthetics. Even riddler award winners are sometimes overdone.
Now, this one is nice. I've seen a lot of nice ones but this is maybe the nicest one that I've seen yet. And they got the exhaust note just right, it sounds like a Gen ii Hemi.
That right there was the car’s birthright. The most capable engine dodge made from factory in one of their best cars.
Trying to find a decent 68 or 69 nowadays is almost impossible . It's either a small fortune or so rusted out it's more trouble than it's worth.
@@Stettenbauer that’s true.
@@Stettenbauer which is very sad
Yes yes yes!!
Couldn’t have said it better bruh
1968 Charger STILL has the best looks than ANY new car out there. Nothing looks better than a 1968 Charger.
😅😅😅 even i look better😅😅😅
What a clean car & killer sound! Also, bonus points for having both the Tuff wheel & the pistol grip which is the ultimate Mopar combo.
I agree!!
Love the pistol grip on here and the power is intoxicating
I have the tough wheel on my 70 Challenger.
A must. I agree!
I’m not a big Mopar guy but even I’ll admit that combo is a wombo combo for sure!
The downshift at 9:42 legitimately made my jaw drop it sounded so good
If their was a car that suits a 1000hp it's the Dodge Charger, what a unit
When they show the engine they put it on a crazy dodge charger
Yes the old school not the piece of shit new one
That’s the truth
Yessir
@@KingCapone704 the new one is 1000x better but keep on being a fudd
One of the best body styles ever. Insane car!
Holy smokes, I’m in love with this car. Hats off to the owner for driving all that way. 💯
So true Andrew!!
So happy he was willing to bring it out for us to shoot. Such a cool guy and his builder Jimmy came with him. Awesome day of shooting!
I love 2nd gen chargers, this one right here is one the most badass examples I've ever seen. Very nice build.
It really is exceptional
Wow! Totally impressed. I’m a Chevy guy but respect. I’d take that ride any day.
It’s really impressive as are the owner and builder…such cool people
Man this is SICK! Wait till you see the one we are building at Eckerts Rod and Custom. We are doing a 69 Road Runner with a Hellephant, and Corvette transaxle behind it.
Maybe when it’s done we can shoot it?? Sounds like a killer build
@@AutotopiaLA that would be awesome!
Can't wait
@@TheDragonDelasangre you guys are in Molalla, right? I live in Salem.
That was amazing it's the perfect build. 950 lbs of torque is insane. Diesel trucks that haul tons use that kind of power. The grey bumpers really did make it look sleek. Another great one for the channel.
This car is done so right and no denying that engines power…awesome!!
1000 HP with stock 1968 seatbelts? Absolutely sick Charger though, I love it. I like how he kept the 68 lines and tucked in the bumpers. Wheels look nice and not too flashy.
Had the privilege to meet David today delivering to his house and got to see the car in person. Such a sick build and super cool owner!
Another clean charger build. Have to love that supercharger whine
Great build and great people involved
This has always been my favorite body style the grill ,hide away lights didn't like the gray color at first but up close the color barks back at you beautiful wheel
And 1000 pony's don't hurt this ride either
This is one sick 68 Charger especially with that Hellephant engine.
Great build and that engine is incredible
@@AutotopiaLA Sure is brother.
Cmon guys let's get this channel up to 500,000 subs! Making quality videos like this is NOT cheap!
Thank you…little buddy little it keeps growing with help from people like you so a big thanks!!
That car looks and sounds so sick 🔥
OMG , friggin sick! One in hundred crate motors? Nothing sounds like a hemi . Plus the best body style ever made.
That engine is so damn good!!
This thing is insane man!! Wow!! That’s one badass ride!!
Amazing build and that engine is insanity!
Straight Up killer !
Love that build, colour, suspension, brakes, interior, wheels and of course that MOTOR/trans !
West Coast Madness ;)
Definitely a stellar build on all points
Wasn't sold on the color scheme, then you explained the concept. Now I'm on board! Amazing!!
It grew on me too
Jay Leno has to have this one on his show! 🤞🏼
No question!
I always appreciate the amount of work that goes into a build like this and understand that different people like different things and it's not my car, etc, etc but am I the only one who liked the "before" look better lol?
😂😂
Nope you're not the only one. Not a fan of primer gray.
@@twohandsandaradio I don't hate the color, but I don't necessarily love it either.
Can’t help but notice that in the first pictures, the original looking Bumper looked so good. I’d have to agree
That black stripe hellephant decal on the rear of the car is cringe af. outside of that and the wheels its spot on.
Sick car and great color combo with the blue accents
Love the color combo and the leather on the seats was soooooo soft!!
Brought a tear to my eye just thinking about how much blood, sweat and tears this man had to go through to build something like this. Good job brother!
And almost all done by one man
Yea not the man who owns it. This is classic example of bought not built.
Yeah now go to the store in your minivan 🤣
This is the absolute epitome of a badass muscle car. This would intimidate anyone at a traffic light. Love this beast.
Intimidating is the truth with this one
@@AutotopiaLA Yes Indeed..
Except a demon lol
Killer build man... Love everything about it, color, interior, wheels. Nicely done
They really nailed it on this build
Mannn God bless mopar/dodge. They listen to what the people want old school horsepower with new technology
They really are in touch more than any other American muscle manufacturer

They really did this one right
Would not have known “hellaphant” until this vid. Slick ride and looks damn good!
That engine is the newest from Dodge and it’s a monster!
I enjoyed watching this. I am in the process of building a 68 with a hellcat engine but now I might have to step up my game lol. Great build all the way around.
Unfortunately it’s almost impossible to get one of these engines with only 100 produced
When I saw the RUclips short of you driving this car I could not wait for you to drop the video, thank you so much for doing this one Sean!
Big thanks to David and Jimmy for bringing it all the way out for us to shoot! Such cool people
The owner of the car smiling ear to ear as he running through the gears is what it's all about good stuff!!!!!
Great build - love that it sounds more big block than supercharger
That engine sounds incredible. Definitely sounds like a big block beast

I love that grey.. it's like a combo of Ford's leadfoot and abyss, absolutely gorgeous.
BADASS! That sound is music to my ears!
Amazingly, I like the color matched bumpers.
Plus like the Chip Foose-esque bumper french.
Stance and rake are pretty damn good.
