I love this guy's mentality. He restored/built this car so he can enjoy it.
Exactly which I think is cool too
Its like.have your cake.and eat it to
@@AutotopiaLA does he have an instagram I'm building the same wanted to know about his set up
The owner said he didn't tub the rear with those tires 335 , that's gotta be a lie, @@AutotopiaLA
Man!!! The story about his old man’s Trans Am... That’s the shit families are about. To be able to do that for your dad!!! That’s a heart wrenching happy moment. Proud!!
LA FAMILIA
I'm not crying YOU'RE FUCKING CRYING!
Thought about doing the same thing for my mom who used to own a '69 Dodge Charger that was a show car that had a 440 HEMI in it. She sold it the year before it became a collectors item in 1988 for the money for a down payment on a house she wanted to buy. Made the right decision but still she misses it and I thought about trying to find it and buy it back for her.
@@Nelson4JesusChrist my mom's dream car is a 70 charger, so I wanna buy her one someday (I'm only 13)
That interior is hella nice. Finally nice to see an old Charger in Destroyer grey. The LED tail lights when they brake are wicked!
Exactly those LED Taillights man...Damn
That's all your gonna see of this car, so.....😁
If you cant a modern car, buy a modern car.
Seeing what he did for his dad was very touching.
Amen brother!
@TRUMENTE We don't have time for that, let this man have his thunder!
I like how reasonable and realistic he is with this car.
That’s the sickest interior I’ve ever seen
Exactly what kind of led lights are those too like wtf
@@alexcantu3539 Have this in my S-Class. They invented it in 2013.
If you like sick interiors, you should see the inside of my grandma’s Cooter 😉
Especially for a 69 charger!

You had me at daily... And I loved the Trans Am story, too.
Drive it daily !! Hell Yeah !!
Hands down that is the most beautiful 69 Charger I have ever seen in my life
I agree
Just wait for the hellephant 426😉

Humble dude , with a badass ride and a heart of gold ✨.....awesome
Man, what a solid dude Alex is. Props to this build & especially his character. What a good dude 😎🤘
He put a lot of time and care into this build. I love it.
Simple setup, the interior is a stunner, not overboard by any means... A perfect daily and the man knows how to treat his old man... Respect, brother!
The Trans am Dad story. This guy is a great son. God bless. Love your children and teach them well.
What a straight forward beautiful build Good taste Interior is just beautiful and tasteful And Alex is way too modest!
The interior is amazing 💯
The owner, that interior, the car...
That's a pure 🔥 build/story 😎
*Shawn this is the type of vehicle I've been waiting for my entire life including the interior* I really wish I was able to afford something like this cuz this is right up my alley even though I am not a charger fan at all. it's the color it's what he did inside the interior that turns me on. I am a 1970 Roadrunner psychopath I would love to get one with a 440, not a Hemi. I would paint it the same color this guy did to me it looks like Battleship Gray. I love the accent lighting he did inside the interior oh my God that is right up my alley. you really do a good job and your people finding these cars. great job again thank you for sharing!
Duuuuude... F' me that is incredible, why haven't I built one of these for my self ! Interior is top notch, luv it. Great channel luv everything you're doin, keep it up, gonna some merch.
Another good find Shawn! Loved the personal touches he put on that interior! Looked like a comfortable boulevard cruiser. Great job!
I am enjoying this channel week by week, even more than when you first started(always been a fan) . Thanks for the mix of vehicles, telling the story of the owners and this one with his dad, that just wraps it up brilliantly.
I’m only 17 and the charger has been my favorite car for a long time I’ve just started seeing that grey both my favorite things on a car great video
I fell for the charger at a young age too....am 21 rn...one of the best cars of all time
Love that car, the interior is off the charts, what a prefect 'daily'.
That’s a beautiful car, love the color and the wheels are killer. And the interior is absolutely gorgeous
That interior is absolutely stunning. Those seats look amazing, front and rear. Also love the color and how straight the sides look. Very cool ride.
I love the build, not too over the top. He spent his money wisely, the story with his dad is awesome.
This is so next level for the interior, modern with the touch screens and mixed with some old school with the manual roll down windows. Bad Ass build😎
It really came together beautifully. Congratulations Alex you did amazing work with this thing. Such a beautiful almost timeless body and that grey just works. Not the way I would have done it (because I lacked the creative style to think like this) but this is one of the coolest restored-modified cars I've seen in a long time.
Best channel, best presenter on RUclips. Hats off to your efforts. Love the cars that are not too over-the-top, more affordable, something the average punter may actually be able to achieve the most.
Always loved the old Chargers, and this is one of the nicest I've seen.
A stand up guy. Nice bruiser, stunning interior. The battleship grey. Looks like wet concrete on a cold winter night. 👍
Great Video! And absolutely awesome what Alex did for his dad with the '78 Trans Am. Very cool!
Very nice build! Obviously he has a huge heart for what he did for his dad. It’s easy to say “drop in an LS”. But it’s a ton more work then most people know. I would loved to se that hemi with a cam, longtubes and good tune.
The most beautiful charge I've ever seen...I love the work which is done on it
Holy effin moly, dude! This is the second video of a restomod 69 Charger I've seen today and it's every bit as inspiring! Effin gorgeous!
MAN!!!! Great car, Interior is LIT!!!!!! Alex is a great guy, love the story about his dad, and finding his car.
Now, thats what its all about! a Reliable street car that is truely bad ass... and what he did for his dad is Legendary!!
Awesome Car, Awesome Dude!
Love this Channel
Thanks and yeah, blown away by the story about his dad. Very cool guy
I like just about everything about this build, especially the color. The wheels are somewhat similar to those on the 2010 Shelby Super Snake.
You’ve done it again, Shawn (and Alex!)... I’m guessing Alex’s gift to his dad was just as much a surprise to you as it was to his dad...?!
Shawn, you hit the nail in the head @ 06:30 “...where do you spend the bulk of your time...”.
Alex, I think you got your priorities absolutely right between interior, motor, paint, etc. I loved that the wheels give a hint to what’s going on inside the car...
Loved everything about this one, including the merch footage.
I hope that you revisit this beauty when he is completely finished with it. Like seeing if he runs the exhaust tips through the body, of course the supercharger and whatever else he adds to it. Thanks for all you do.
10:09 sequential brake lights - nice!
Shawn your holding out on us. I know you have another Charger at your storage facility with humongous race motor!!! We want to see that one
OMG! Im loving this killer car and thinking what a cool guy the owner is , then the story of his dads Trans Am , are you kidding me!! this channel is a gear heads dream.
I love the daily drivability this provides. Great build! Amazing color!
Real humble dude and great way to pay homage with his father. Wish I could meet this guy.
He’s a good guy for sure
Working man builds are always nice to see. You can keep the trailer queens. Helluva side story on him finding his dads car.
Love these kind of build vids. Show cars dominate vids and outrageous money. These builds are attainable by the everyday enthusiast!
Alex , the car is very nice . The story about your dad makes you one of the best people I've seen here . 👏🏿 Nothing but respect for you sir .
interior hella dope! also like how the brakes lights spread when u hit them!
I wish he’d gone with the 392 but I love it all. What a humble build with absolute beauty. That interior is gorgeous. The grey really shows off the lines of the car.
Man this is one tasteful and clean restomod. I personally love this car.
Gorgeous Charger! That interior is off the chain! Just incredible! Love the new Hemi swap! Need some BIG Magnaflow tips and it's perfect! And to buy his dad's Trans Am and give it back as a gift! Mad props to the guy!
AWESOME! The 69th Charger is in my opinion the most beautiful cars ever made ....and since i reacently found my enjoyment of this Modern Gray Paint wich is more common in the last time , I have ti say: Thats probably the Peak of my journey .... I may never see a car again thats more Awesome .-Regards from Germany
Man this is my dream right here... classic muscle car (preferably 68-70 charger) with a modern interior with Bluetooth and ac and one thats loud but not crazy unbearably loud...
just a retro sick looking car that’s also a comfortable daily🤙🏼
The interior really finished that Mopar nicely.......I'm liking the grey color and the fact that it's not a garage queen. Really great thing he did for his Dad + nice wheels on the Charger. The V-Dub bus back there looks interesting....would like to see an upload on it. I owned 5 of those over the years......guess I'm a weird guy; it was either RoadRunners, Novas, Chevelles, high-perf Fords, or V-Dub buses, nothing in-between........maybe I should see a therapist........
I was gonna comment on how dope the Charger is, but you get a million cool points for getting your dad his Firebird back. I hope I can do things like this for my dad.
Love the interior. I think it may be my fav I've seen.
Nice build, nice story, love the led line going through the interior. He can enjoy it and if he wants to go all out later dodge has some beast to put in there.
Super clean. Super straight. Super smooth.
I would have used the R/T emblem between the tails to match the one on the front and to make the color "pop" more as a neutral color.
The wheel/tire setup again just right on this big car. I like how the fronts come out to the lip almost. Many look like the fronts are "tucked" in too far and they look dorky.
Sweet ride!!
Great build...beautiful job Alex....and the back story of the TA is just sweet. Nice shoot!
That story about his dad blew us all away!!
Awesome attention to detail and comfort, and looks brilliant
That paint is killer. Like that it's a daily. Once again too cool!! Thanks
Ahh Destroyer Grey. Excellent color choice! Badass Charger! ❤️ Thanks Shawn!
I can't put into words what I'd give just to be able to watch my dad do a burnout or even donuts in a muscle car.....he's alive but he's blind and in poor health..... Keep on honoring your parents while they are alive regardless though.
Those brake lights are 😤😤 just amazing
The interior of the 69 is gorgeous it has lots of power And sounds awesome
Such a sick car! And god bless you sir! What you did for your dad is so cool
Man, this car screams PERFECT DRIVER. Love it, pretty jealous!
Wow! I mean this is an absolutely incredible build!! Great job!!
This is my cousin Alex Uribe and he is one of the most humble people you will ever meet. He will literary give you the shirt off his back. And all he said is true. I would catch him in his room as a lil kid building and painting car models. This is what a car should be. A daily 💯👍🏽 big props Alex.
This is a bad ass car. Got damn that shit is beautiful. 6.1L ain't bad, but I would've jumped to 6.4L but it's his build and I respect that 100 percent. Also, hands down for building his dad's trans Am. You have a good heart man. Bless you and your fam.
Love this charger! Guy also has a huge heart for his family!
This is an awesome build. Love the concept and the execution! Great looking Mopar...in and out!
Agreed all the way 👊
Perfection simple and just perfect in every way.
Agreed all the way
This is the exact same car i built for drag in Need for speed pro street.
The body lines Alone is killing anything that moves.👍💯
Clean build, great color. Awesome to see such builds.
Beautiful story of the trans am and equally beautiful ride! I love destroyer grey it’s an awesome color!
This was amazing, Humble guy with Style..... That was awesome what he did for his father.
I always thought my brother had the nicest Chargers I've ever seen, but this takes the cake. Beautiful car Brother.🇺🇸
Looks like a fast and the furious build....amazing👍
What he did for his dad is huge! Love the car and the approach, looks good, feels good, rides good, end of story.
This is amazing this just shows you you can build something on a budget and still look great!!
Agreed!
They say lightning don't strike twice love coming to this channel.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
the most badass charger I've seen by far
That's one of the coolest Dodge out
total respect doing that for his oldman !!!! what a great car !!

All around beautiful car especially that paint job but man, that interior is just phenomenal 😍
Awesome content. Keep up the great work!
Absolutely fantastic build. Really well done.
Just beautiful, thank you for sharing your story. That was awesome. The power of giving!!! Your father must be so proud of you. Take care
What a story about his dad! Blew me away
Perfectly executed!!! Now I REALLY want one
Really dig this dude's heart. Major props for the car, too!
The brake lights were rad. Sweet car Alex
Thats a tamed beast built for every day driving looks good in and out....👍👍👍
Great car. Nice moment with dad.
Man to build that awesome Charger & give his dad back his Trans Am...is his place hiring?? Haha, great episode and story!

That's how chargers should look in general!!!
