      @@Lakitu886 im a die hard atlanta fan, and while hindsight says we could have gotten multiple pro bowlers with the picks given up, i would not hesitste on making that trade again. If we had not moved up, our GM Thomas Dimitroff says we would have selected Gabe Carimi.... Yikes. That makes the trade up even more valuable. Add in that none of the browns pkayers from those picks no longer in the NFL, and Atlanta potentially pulled off the most lopsided trade up in NFL history, considering the players the browns selected with the picks they got in return from trading down, and the fact that it was a consesus that the browns knocked that trade out of the park being the intial reaction from everyone.

      Didn’t get them a Super Bowl win but regardless you counter the 4 players that Browns drafted to Julio. Falcons came on in that aspect. Besides the Falcons defense faltered the second half. Patriots buckled down and Brady did Brady things.

      Locker had a lot hype behind him but Gabbert and Ponder were really bad QBs in college every fan could see that , but teams will draft these guys because they fit the mold of a QB 6'3" 225 lbs its why guys like Brees and Wilson go in the 2nd and 3rd round because of their size

    Panthers select Newton, he won an MVP and played in a super bowl. While not WORST to FIRST, it was first place in the NFC. He would lose the super bowl to the #2 pick in the draft, which means they also went from second worst to best.

Last two years that's all you saw with Ingram/Kamara...last season Kamara's health was compromised so the weight was on Murray. He does like the run game to become obvious so he'll elect to amp up passing plays.

    I remember watching this years ago and I felt like I would've taken Watt immediately. Not even a Wisconsin fan but that year I ended up somehow watching most of there games by pur le chance and EVERY gam Watt stood out tremendously. He had a knack of swatting the ball and I became a fan out of nowhere. Knew he would be special.

      Christopher Palmer dareus was actually good tho and an all pro but for me to draft a DT at 3rd overall he better change life and be a hofer, i feel the same about the lions drafting a TE last year at 8, he will probably be good but at 8 for a TE hes gotta change life imo

    IMO, Aldon Smiths second season is the best season by a pass rusher since 2010. He nearly had 20 sacks while being doubled a lot on the second best team in the league that year

      I'd say Watt in 2014 was better, the span from 2012-14 was legendary and he was by far the best defensive player at the time

      it was definitely not and i'm saying that as a niner fan. he was one dimensional and didn't play every down. justin smith was arguably more dominant that year but just didn't earn the stats.

      Okay I was totally wrong Houston had 22 sacks in 2014 while aldon Smith had 19.5 in 2012 so it was not the same season, but I do agree that Watt was the most dominate in that era even though it hurts for me to say.

    I bought the 2011 Lindy's Draft Guide for entertainment on a flight to ho skiing in Colorado. I remember flipping through it with my buds and just being amazed at the amount of talent and arguing over who would draft who. Cool to flip through it today and see who right...and wrong that draft analysis needs were.

    Man we got 2 high caliber player's in the first round in this draft. Cam Jordan is a monster to deal with for every team, and man do I miss seeing Mark in the black and gold, but I'm glad to see him kicking ass with one of the funnest to watch QB's in the league and enjoying himself!
