@@dylanfarnum4121 very well put.
And your point about these guys suddenly be surrounded by other guys who are all also freakishly talented and how are they going to respond is totally spot on. How do you measure that?
Craziest thing is between all 20 of them only 3 have won a SB with 1(D Carr) as the backup to E Manning. On top of that the only one to win a SB with the team that drafted them was E Fisher with KC in 2020.
Bad news for Lawrence tomorrow.
Glad Stafford has an uncursed team to play for 👍
I wish Cam Newton could still play half as good as he did when he was a rookie... that guy was electrifying.
I’m happy for the browns fans, they’ve been through so much and finally are playoff contenders with Baker Mayfield
19 first round draft picks later...
Baker isn't even that good.
Lions have had it worse then Cleveland
@@I_like_turtles_67 good enough to get them a playoff win for the first time in forever
@@motownmike7509 at this point the lions are just a joke, I’d quit being a lions fan if they never want to improve. When’s the last time they even won a playoff game? 30 years?
This deserves an update.
3:40 might be the best throw in nfl history
Just yesterday I was talking to my dad (both chiefs fans) and I said:
"Why doesn't anyone really talk about the massive comeback Indianapolis pulled against us, 38-10 at halftime?"
"Well we were there, so it was more of a sinking feeling than it actually was. And the Chiefs weren't that good."
Thanks for bringing it up. I hated that game.
2001 NFL Draft: Michael Vick #7
2002 NFL Draft: David Carr #8
2003 NFL Draft: Carson Palmer #9
2004 NFL Draft: Eli Manning #10
2005 NFL Draft: Alex Smith #11
Crazy how their jersey numbers went in order from 7 to 11 for that many years.😮
It really sucks that Luck had injury troubles had he not had them he'd have been on levels equal to the man he replaced in Indy
Blame Grigson. By the time we got rid of him and brought in someone who knows how to actually build an O-line it was too late.
Its a curse for first round draft picks your time in the pros is very limited. But it makes sense people who are at the top of draft class always pushed themselves at 110% so the body is more broken down.
I hope Joe Burrow makes a comeback this year. I want to see him succeed so badly.
They picked jamarr chase so yeah, no
@@lukeliszoo3531 they say this is a deep ol class so there still hope
They are going to fail him with the offensive line again. Burrow's hope lies in a trade.
He aint got no line
He has zero protection. Bengals will ruin him.
Michael Vick, Cam Newton and Kyler Murray were unstoppable in their first year as rookies and their second year in the league!!!
Matthew Stanford traded to the rams in 2021 now a Super Bowl champion
We need the updated version, especially about the Goff-Stafford trade results
"High hopes in cincy" *makes AFC Championship*
Makes Super Bowl. Makes AFC Championship the next year.
I miss Andrew Luck. An ultimate what could have been.
That Alex Smith naked boot on 3rd and about 9 I still remember watching live as it happened .... one of the gutsy-est calls ever ... if memory serves me correctly that happened in OT as well
What about "What Happened to every quarterback drafted in the first round since 2010"
Seeing this makes miss Andrew Luck. Just right when it seemed like he was getting it together after a few injury ridiculed seasons he retires. I can’t blame him either.
Stafford now has a ring 🤝
Now, can we get what has happened to every #2 overall pick?

For this discussion, Eli is the standard. Garrett, Murray, and Burrow are the only recent picks that have any kind of chance for a comparable career.

Great video! Took a lot of time to make!
Man Stafford and Johnson really could have messed around and been another Montana and Rice but the Lions just couldn’t that right either. Watch this year everyone in the media will talk about how good Stafford is. It’s not because he was ever bad, it’s because he never had everyone from the coach, OC , GM and everyone in the building all on the same page. Oh yeah Stafford about to ball and Rams going 14-2
Stafford is -not- clutch. -No way- of course he will win 3 playoff games and get to SB. Gonna be Hilarious watching rams -choke- win it all this year!

@@jamman950 before KC = Meh but after he joined KC he was a hit
@@jamman950 Alex is an excellent example of a QB being forced to start for a team with a bad O-line and even worse coaches/front office. Would Rodgers had thrived if he had picked by the 9ers? Once Alex got a good O-Line and a competent coach (Harbaugh) he blossomed; Rodgers was able to learn and adjust to the NFL as Farve's backup so a few years after he became the starter, he won MVP and the SB.
Burrow is a huge HIT!
Clowney is such a great run defender. I think he’ll flourish in Cleveland.

Bro that stafford TD Was legendary when it happened
Career ending injury from Alex Smith is an understatement. I think it got infected twice and could of been life threatening.
Mike Vick makes football look effortless.
Luck should have had a much longer career than the one he had, Colts never invested properly in getting an offensive line that would give him the protection he needed. A real shame for the game of Football to see a guy like that to retire at 29 simply because he decided that he didn't want to put his body through that level of punishment
Who's here after burrow and the bengals made the super bowl??
Now stafford won the Super Bowl with the rams and burrow came back and took the bengals to the superbowl ! Nice
I’m from Michigan and watching this now makes me happy, Staford (typo) is in the super bowl
Bradford was the most accurate passers I've ever seen in a quarterback. Wonder how good he could have been if he actually had a team built around him
I am curious how David Carr’s career would have turned out if he had a better team around him
They signed Boselli, arguably the best tackle in the NFL to protect Carr.
Carr was doomed as soon as Boselli wasn't able to come back from injury.
How about a video on the greatest 199th pick since 2000.
It's crazy watching this after watching Stafford win a Superbowl
Tim Couch standing on that stage with Brown was like "Ashes to Ashes, Bust to Bust."
