The reality is that Jackson has a bigger arm and puts way more zip on it , not to mention rg3 isn't even in the same stratosphere in terms of running ability
To this day I still have not seen a player with the quickness and stop and start ability at the level of Reggie Bush. He was a complete freak of nature of pure quickness, the only problem is is pro bowl running backs have to be more than quickness and speed, no matter how insane it is
I’m a die hard HTTR FAN ❤️💛 RG3 put in a lot of work coming into the league with the Washington Redskins he helped us turn our franchise around for two years then he was derailed with injuries and bad decisions in the Locker room but sky’s was the limit for RG3 real ones know that for sure. Reggie Bush definitely was one of the key pieces for the Saints winning that ring after hurricane Katrina he was everything you wanted in an all purpose running back catching running and punt returns. They might didn’t have the longevity as some others but they were good players in the league before other circumstances became.
Reggie Bush's time with the Bills was weird, 12 carries, 1 TD, 3 first downs, yet -3 yards. He did catch 7 passes for 90 yards & 6 first downs though. Appeared in 13 games, 96 snaps on offense, 42 on ST
When watching the wheel route that Reggie ran on the saints, all I could think about was the time he got decleated by Sheldon brown on the same route to the other side of the field
Yeah, I was surprised myself. Hope Burrow recovers, man that sucked to have him go down hurt like that, rookie season was pretty darn impressive before that happened.

I feel like Carson Palmer is the most underrated Quarterback since 2000, I mean he’s probably a Super Bowl win away for the hall of fame and he got real close on Arizona. Looking back in it that Cardinals team is the most stacked team in recent memory to not win a super bowl
@@bobjohnson4709 Obviously any team that makes a Super Bowl or gets close is a good team. But personally the Cardinals with Patrick Peterson and Honey Badger on defense with Palmer, Fitz and David Johnson on offense were special.

It’s the same with yards. 4000 yards used to be a golden benchmark for quarterbacks now that’s average to even below average. Same with scoring in the nba. Multiple players average 30 or close to it when it used to be like 1 or two players coming around that number and the rest of guys around low to mid 20s
I wouldn't put any stock into what happened last year 36 led the league in 2019, 50 in 2018, 34 in 2017, and 40 in 2016. As a matter of fact, over the last 5 years only twice would 32 TDs not have you in the top 5.
Every time Derrick Henry throws a stiff arm, I think "That man has a family!" I also imagine somewhere, Marshawn Lynch is watching and thinking, "oh DAMN"
Reggie Bush ran sideways his first 3 seasons. He could run around the edge in college but in the pros he couldn’t handle the the defenses speed. It took him a few seasons to get into the groove.

3:45 INCORRECT - Reggie Bush and the Trojans LOST the 2005 season championship game to the Texas Longhorns at the Rose Bowl. Final score 41-38. Vince Young played an amazing game, but his NFL career fell into the same category of most of these other players unfortunately.
Same and I'm auburn fan , seems like Nebraska hasn't recovered since that Beatdown vs Colorado before Tennessee lost to lsu and helped them get in the national title game if you remember
Isn’t it crazy how in the early 2000s those heisman winning quarterbacks were getting drafted very very late in the draft. Now they all go #1 overall lol
Hope this helps understand why. Wienke was 28, so nfl teams weren’t very interested. Crouch wasn’t a good passer. Palmer did go early the draft. Jason white’s knees were so banged up that he couldn’t even get under center. Matt Leinart was drafted early. Troy smith was undersized. Tebow had horrible mechanics. And Bradford was an early pick.
@@javin9743 I think that it is due to the level of talent a player has around them, as well as their skillset. If I play QB at New Mexico State for example, with a subpar team, and play excellent, going 8-4 with a not so great team, I could excel in the NFL where I have much better players around me. A heisman winner who goes #1 overall is also likely going to start in a trainwreck of an organization as well, which will probably kill their career. Skillsets required in the NFL are also much different. In college, you see teams scoring 40+ points regularly, while in the NFL, most teams score around 20-low 30s. The game differs just so much. I'm not an expert at all, just my take.
So about a 10% chance a Heisman winner will have a great Pro career. They give it everything to win the award, nothing left for the next level. Collegiate stardom is still LEGENDARY.
EXACTLY why the Heisman should be awarded to Seniors that had an exemplary college career and not just 1 season to show for. This could also motivate players to graduate and not enter the draft early.
I’m a Nebraska fan so I’ve watched plenty of highlights of him. I feel like if he had played in today’s time he would have been a good quarterback in the NFL since QB’s are no longer just pocket passer and can run also

No just the jets screwed his career they should have started him I can understand why the pats didn't because they had Brady at the time but who did the jets have at the time mr. Butt fumble
As a Broncos fan you dont just magically win games because its in your heart or whatever. Tebow played good at few times but mostly average at best. Games are won through good team play which was around Tebow. Just look at the team once they got Manning they were a title contender for 4 straight years.

@@aidanc1088 I’m guessing that Henry’s slide had to do with the stigma around Alabama RBs. Saban runs his backs into the ground, so the durability and longevity are always a question with them.
Because the players in college are still pretty much kids (and the vast majority won’t be good enough for the NFL) the top athletes always stand out a bit more. Especially with quarterback, you don’t really need great decision making or pinpoint accuracy to be a top college QB. I think one of the best examples of this is Johnny Manziel. Rose won an MVP tho
@@OmgRun666 yeah, but there's a huge difference people miss. RG3 was relying on teammates to help him. Rose didn't. He for some reason always landed on one foot in an awkward position and to this day I don't understand how no coach caught it and didn't tell him to quit landing on one leg in an awkward position. Even after multiple injuries due to the same thing. He's been able to play for a while now because of that one change. Of course when your early twenties and that athletic who can tell you anything? @@g.williams2047 like I know some positions you have covered maybe the heismans that but not every team

Because he was faster then everyone else, he could just run around until someone got open. But once he got to the NFL, most edge rushers were faster then him, so he needed to actually play QB.
