- We have seen many different cars in the Gran Turismo series over the past 25 years. Some iconic cars like the Suzuki Escudo or TOM Castrol Supra made their comeback to GT7 via update but there are still a
lot missing. Here's a compilation of 50 cars, that were part of the series but disappeared in GT7, which I and other long time player want to see again..

GT6 may not be the best game, but it sure had one of the most extensive and craziest car list out of any racing game
That's why Polyphony are THE car guys, they don't only add what's mainstream or popular, but add lesser known and unique cars in their games. They're the reason why I love Daihatsu, Vector, DOME.
Also I say GT6 is in between GT2 and GT4.
And polyphony biggest mistake was releasing GT6 on ps3 one thing I love about GT6 is that GT6 is much more offline friendly than gt7 and gt5

GT6 had best car list so far. It got all of the best GTs.
Not only all those cars but a lot of the circuits bring back very fond memories and need to come back!
Most wont come back like Seattle and Red Rock Valley...but it would be nice to see Grand Valley, and Midfield, and Apricot Hill resurface. Maybe some more street courses like Monaco Acote de Azure. NEW york. Hong Kong...and real circuits like Silverstone and Twin Motegi.
@@JK-js2td actually, I'm fairly sure grand valley was already datamined (and iirc red rock valley as well but i dont remember that part as clearly so dont take my word for it)

That Seattle Circuit was incredible
They’re missing literally ALL of the LM race cars. Those cars were the underdogs of race cars in GT2-GT5
That would require a lot of modelling, especially making new interiors. And besides, cars that could end up in Gr.3 would be strictly RWD.
I was a massive fan of the Opel Tigra rally car in GT2 (my introduction to the series and probably 2k or more hours played back then).
And PLEASE bring back Red Rock Valley!!

One car I really want back is the Honda HSV-010 GT. Loved that car.

One thing I find ironic is that with the current NSX GT500 with Honda is that they where forced by Super GT to be turned FR ANYWAY. So it is basically turned to a HSV. That was after GT500 made it only FR allowed in 2019.
I wish the m3 gtr had the straight cut gear sounds, that demonic scream of that car is why it's so loved.

Kazunori-san recently had a presentation about the way PD models their cars. They showed some behind the scenes stuff about modelling Jaguar XJ220. So that sounds like good news

Should bring back the Calibra DTM, 190E DTM, and C36 DTM as well, Alfa competition. The Greaves Motorsport LMP2 from GT6 would be interesting too, where would it go? Personally, I would like to see all the Fiats and Alfa's from GT2, with the addition of the Stilo Abarth/Schumacher, and Punto Sporting mk1 and 2, and the HGT from GT4, (never gona happen, but one can dream).
I agree that 90% of these would be great to see again. One thing I'm really missing is the aussie additions like the Holden commodore and monaro/pontiac gto and the Ford falcons.

I want the wo8, the f2007, the jeff gordon nascar, the formula gt and the Lexus LFA. If these are added i would be super hyped.
Id love to see the ReNAult r5 rally car, the TVR Speed 12, Jaguar XJ 220 race car, all the Lotuses...especIally the Motorsports Elise.

Amazing list zocker1990, that will be very nice to see all these cars from the previous Gran Turismo games to return in Gran Turismo 7 like bring back nascar, vector m12 road car, m12 lm, vector w8, lister storm V12 road car, race car, and bring back lotus elan, elise, esprit, europa, evora and so much more to return to Gran Turismo 7, and Happy 25th anniversary of the Gran Turismo franchise.☺️👍💕
Good job on getting the Vectors in there, I loved watching my replays of racing the m12 and M12 race car, also I’d have the TS020 in the #1 spot by a long way and also in the top 10 the GTO LM race car, FTO LM race car and CRX LM race car, we’ll see how loud we shout and how good PD are at listening 👍

Rally, F1 and LM cars are what I’d like to see back. But NASCAR would be fun too considering we don’t have any nascar events in GT7.
But for me the Toyota GT ONE 99 (though Road and 98 would be nice too), Nissan R390 GT1 98 (97 version would be nice too) and the Honda S2000 LM (Honda S2000 GT1 would be nice too…yes I’m aware I said that 3 times lol) those cars I’ve always used in GT games since GT3. Regardless of their use in GT games - they are my favourite 3 cars from GT games past. I’d cry if any got added!

For me the only car missing from this list is the Mitsubishi FTO super touring car, that thing was crazy and the reason I went out and bought one!

I realy miss the car enthusiasts standards like BMW M5 E34+E39+E60, Renault Laguna/Peugeot 406 STW/DTM etc.
the problem is not really related to the updates. Last one was 5 Cars and 1 Track, which is pretty nice. If only ALL the monthly updates were 1 Track added + 7/8 cars, possibly a THEMED UPDATE like a Gr.B expansion or a DTM Legends would be incredible.
The Pagani Zonda C12, Jaguar XJ220, Lexus LFA, Saleen S7 and the Toyota GT-1 are my top 5 from your list!

Wished they’d bring every LMP/GTP/GT1/Group C car back from the previous games. Like the BMW V12 LMR, Audi R8, R11, Nissan R390 GT1 Race Car, Lotus Elise GT1, etc.
Also the Mercedes 190E DTM to go against the Alfa.

It should be said that some of these are in the data mined car list so they will be coming rather soon. This includes the 400R, LFA, 599, 190E and others.

Great video on the classic cars..what GT7 needs are more original tracks from GT1 to GT6..It needs more road tracks...classic circuit tracks..more tracks than cars

You listed a Midget ii from the 90’s but had footage of the first gen 3 wheeler from the 60’s.
Additionally, we already have Senna’s F1 Lotus, it’s just been de-branded and had the gauge cluster and some winglets slightly adjusted for licensing, it’s otherwise the exact car and mesh from GT6. We likely won’t see any Lotuses until them and PD become friendly again, something went awry during the pre-launch of GT Sport. The Evora was available in the beta, and there’s footage of an Elise and I believe Evora GT4 (which likely indicates a GR. 3 variant of one of the road cars) in promotional material. As soon as PD can get the license back all 3/4 of those cars will likely return as they were ready for Sport, and everything in that game carried into 7 aside from LH content.
Previously licensed modern F1 cars are also unlikely to return, as they were all under special agreements at the time. What’s more likely is a newer Mercedes F1 car due to Hamilton’s ambassadorship. Older F1 cars are plenty possible, especially if driven by Senna or Hamilton given the old Mclaren added recently.
Many of the cars listed were found in a leaked internal database as entry codes, many of which have already arrived in some past updates. I’d expect a lot of this list’s road cars to appear in the coming year. In Particular the XJ220 has already had an early render of its interior spotted in a recent BTS presentation, so that could be coming in an update as early as January-March

Honda HSV super GT or any old JGTC car, they could add a whole JGTC/SuperGT DLC in there with tracks too.
Wow i forgot about so much of these cars 😳🙈😅 but i would love all of them, the Patentwagen and the Lunar car not that much but the old DTM cars with extra the Tigra Ice Car would be awesome. The HKS would be fun to see on Route X 🤩😅

That was a fun watch... I have since switched to Xbox (for no other reason than availability to me - I got one free). But I sure do miss Gran Turismo. I would buy a PS3 just to play GT. And those tracks!!! I LOVED Seattle, Rome, and Trial Mountain. And I remember most of those, but it seems either they were monstrously powerful with no control (like the TVR) or too twitchy for this old man (like the Suzuki concept GSRxxxxx). What about the 1000hp Supra or the 1100hp Suzuki?

One of my favourite Gran Turismo (I believe GT2) cars was the Galant VR4. 731bhp fully tuned and I chose it with every race it was compatible in...

Tis a solid list, but for me personally I'd love to see some of the K-cars return & wagons (estates).
Daihatsu Mira/Cuore, Suzuki alto works & the Mazda Autozam of course.
For the wagons...it'd be the usual older GT ones such as Legnums, Legacies, Stageas & the Volvo 240.
Some of the other VVT hatches of the 90's would be cool to see return too like the Mirage Cyborg ZR or the Corolla Levin BZ-R. Not to mention the plethora of great modern cars they're missing, a lot of McLaren's & Ferraris for example...or Koenigsegg. My picks for Aston Martins would have to go the DB7/DB9 & the V12 Vanquish all before the V8 Vantage though...sorry. 😂👍
I want to see the Blitz ER34 sedan Drift car that was in gt5 and gt6. Loved that car.
I would also like to see the toyota chaser JZX100 that is in GT5 and 6 as a TOM's car.

It's super crazy to me how the Lexus LFA, despite being in Japan and had been in their last 3 years, wasn't in GT7 at the start.

I think it safe to see that 80-85 cars in updates will be from the datamine list, still good becouse we are getting Dodge challanger demon, bmw m5 e60, Lexus lfa, Chevrolet chevelle ss 454, Ferrari 812 superfast and more, but some cars added was not on the datamine list, like Corvette c8 and volkswagen idr
Agree with most of this list but what o want is more race types like rival races like rx-7 vs Supra or ford vs Chevy and some more 90’s regular cars wouldn’t hurt either

For my part, the 2 cars I've got the best memories with, actually are in GT7 (I just checked and realised it): the Mitsubishi GTO Twin Turbo from GT1, and the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak from GT2.

add some different cars into the game as well, like an 83 chevy x11. that would be a fun addition to hatchbacks. a 79 elcamino/malibu/monte carlo, fun for muscle car events. how about more trucks and suvs? i can go all day about additions to gt7 that would be alot of fun.
The Diablo GT-1 JGTC was in the lamborghini copyright part but I would like to see how it goes in GT7.
Also for Vector and Venturi, it's almost pain in the arse to license them since Vector was gone but Venturi to my knowledge is up when they are in Formula E, still it would be nice to see them too.
