Well, GT90 was concepted as a gran turismo, GT40 is born for the races. Actually, a racing GT90 would have been infinetely less exotic, because it would had to renounce at turbos. Like Vector MC12: on street had two turbos, for racing would have been, because I'm not sure it really raced, simply a racing tuned Diablo
And the amazing part is that the Panoz GTR-1 actually does sound like that, and is louder than hell. It my dream car when I was eleven watching it in action for the first time. :-)

You are going at 300km/h and it looks as flat as a 50km/h trip on a Fiat Punto... the GT4 sequences in this video are all incredibly boring to watch (not mentioning the ones with the slow cars, those clips look like literal slowmotion...)

The only noises you would hear on the moon mission should be from inside your space suit. It mainly would be listening to yourself breathing and grunting and perhaps the hum of the climate control systems built into your spacesuit or your communications system. Any vibrations (sound is vibrations) made by the lander would be transmitted to your suit only by touch and it would be your suit that would vibrate and make noise. Basically the whole moon mission would sound like a stalker calling you on the phone making heavy breathing noises and grunts that would change in intensity when you made a jump or something.
GT has some fetish for The GTR and Japanese Cars in General For example all the GTR in GT4, where basically are all the same cars but with different year (Like GTR R33 '96 and GTR R33 '97) and with some special editions (We have: N1, V-Spec N1, N1 again, LM limited, Midnight Purple ed., Etc.)
The Furai is underrated as hell. Sure, it burst into flames (just like every other Wankel engine) but when it worked it ran like absolute hell. Beast of a vehicle.
Was utterly broken in GT2. Best car on the road or dirt. It just did everything so well. Great acceleration, great top speed, great handling and traction. It was untouchable. The TVR Speed 12 probably got the closest over-all but you really had to tune it to become driveable while you could just by the Escudo and just dominate races. The drag cars challenged it on a straight line but that's all they could do. Was still really good in GT3 but it kind of fell off in GT4 since it understeered a bit so it couldn't keep up with the LMP cars.
I haven't played a GT game since 4 as I moved to PC but I found myself watching GT videos.... just want to say that motion blur on GT Sport is smooth. Makes it look alot more realistic

Totally agree. The sense of speed in Gran Turismo 2, 3 and 4 is way better than in the later Gran Turismo games. To me personally, it really is a huge deal, like going 250km/h really felt like 250km/h in Gran Turismo 2, 3 and 4, especially in Gran Turismo 4 with the wind noise, oh man, so good. Whereas in newer Gran Turismo games going fast seems very slow in comparison, and once you break 250-300km/h mark, it just looks sped up, it doesn't even look natural. Just plain horrible.
I always hated the Chaparral 2J (7:58) in Gran Turismo 5 Because you could have a Bugatti veyron, have it tuned to the max and this tumble dryer will still pass you
Aaaw Tank Car and Schwimmwagen brought me so much memories. I remember I have tuned my Schwimmwagen in GT6 and it was going over 230 kph :D a lot of potential for a sleeper and very exotic !

Why didn't they put some of them in GT5/ GT6 rather than 55 versions of GTR R34? The Skyline Silhouette and the Venturi would have been pure gold.
