- The fastest cars from all 7 main titles in history of Gran Turismo. Starting with the 20 years old Gran Turismo 1 up to the latest part GT Sport.
I know it´s possible to go even faster in some games using slipstream, a hack, hybride cars or by leaving the track with a glitch. To make it a fair comparison I did all speeds on the test track and in machine test when available. The only trick I used was a wheelie setup as this is a part of the series since GT2 and belongs to the game in my opinion. :D

i put unrelated comments on everything the cars aren’t really meant to leave the ground, response to steering is pretty good, great break reddening, accurate interior views with functional rear view mirror and wing mirrors, sounds from turbo cars can be better, but overall aren’t all that bad, this is a simulation of track racing, not a physics arcade simulator
@@Rook_RenoYeah I fully agree. I don't blame Granturismo series, it's great game. Anyway this cars are just breaking game physics, so it's extreme funny to see that kind of things under franchise called "real driving symulator". In other case Forza put Lego cars into their game, so sometimes it's fun to see that kind of wierd cars in the "real racing" games.
@@Rook_Reno it's a driving Simulator sure but not "The Real Driving Simulator" because that's the thing. If it was simulating real driving they WOULD have to get the physics right because real driving is dependent on physics. I love GT the way it is but it certainly gives you a chuckle when you see "Real Driving Simulator", and on screen an Escudo is pulling a wheelie at almost 1000mph 😁
GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4, GT5, GTS sounds: broom, nyoom, braam, etc.

The Escudo's front wheels act as a turbo compressor, creating a massive vaccuum at the front of the car & a jet stream out the back, thereby eliminating all aero drag & adding a jet engine. 😁

This is some quality content. I popped in GT3 with my brother Bout 4 years ago, within the same week as posting a top speed on Test Circuit, a total of 15 years ago. Original top speed was like 523mph in Escudo Pikes Peak(we called it Big Red) and then, 9 years later we went back and set it at like 700mph lol, same week lol

The Escudo in GT3 can cause an Integer overflow and crash the game
The speed is actually a floating point, but the speedometer only shows a signed 32-bit integer so it stops at 2147483647…
Don't forget the Toyota GT-ONE. Once you glitch outside the Seattle race track in... I think GT1, or GT3 i forget. It also can max out at the same speed.

When u hit more than 1000kmh in gt5 or 6 with moded cars the sound cuts off.. And in replays it Sounds like Woooschhhh poof when passing a stationary cam.

The speed of sound is 1,236 kilometers per hour at sea level, and the Suzuki Escudo is capable of breaking the sound barrier in-game, thus my disappointment at the lack of a mach cone and/or sonic boom.
Idk if this was a joke comment or I’m taking this too seriously but... that Escudo was for sure glitched. It can never reach that speed and so the programmers never worried about affects for breaking sound barrier.

@@zocker1990 fastest ive ever hit in the 180sx was 277 its hard to keep it up some good speed around the turns. fastest ive got the escudo to go was 250 260 without wheeling.
I can swear I hit 300 with the 180 drag and the escudo but I can't for the life of me remember how. I was also fucking around programing cheat codes a bunch back in the day with game shark so it could have been using it.

It's true, i have reached about 512km/h (318mph) with the 180SX Dragster. The car doesn't need a glitch to reach this speed but it needs a track glitch to get the space for acceleration!
Go to Motorland Track (the little kart track) and cut/hit the inside wall of the last corner at a specific angle. If done correctly, you can drive through the track barrier at the end of the main straight (start/finish straight) to get out of the track limits. Now you have endless room to accelerate the 180SX to the max.
@@V8Roehrldrifter yeah once I found out about that glitch I hit 302 without downforce with some downforce on the rear to lift the front tires I can hit around what you hit Put the downforce all the way down it can hit like 627 or around there then the game stops counting

dude just go onto Seattle circuit GT3 and glitch out of the map, you can break the game with the Escudo by going too fast.

@@kangarojack3814 You think I didn't know a 15,000RPM fuel cut off was unrealistic outside of motorcycles I've been obsessed with cars for all of the 17 years I've been alive and I love the Corvette because it's cheap and it's fast I mean look at the new C8 with the Z51 performance package it can go from 0-60mph in 2.9 seconds and only costs 60,000 USD while the Ford GT does the same but it has more power and it costs 500,000 USD so calling the Corvette slow is about as idiodic as say a bone stock '89 Camry is fast and I respect all cars except for the Prius and minivans I just prefer a Corvette

Man I have countless hours of memories of playing the whole campaign of gt5 and gt6 after my dad got me hooked on gt2 even though I couldn’t save anything just have amazing gt5 memories of the Minolta Toyota and the 1969 Camaro race car can’t remember if it was gt5 or 6 but either way doing a 24 hour race and winning with my dad is one of the fondest memories we took shifts even though it was against cpu in the rain in a Lexus isf race car I think it was all black but I hope may more of these games can come out so more kids can have this expierience

I remember in gran turismo 6, before all the vision gt updates, the fastest car was the 2003 dodge viper convertible. It could go over 300 mph
how much mph exactly? and i think the bugatti veyron would crush that car ez in speed because it could reach 580km/h with a good enough transmission (573km/h if you're too lazy to fully 100% tune it like i am), especially if you're using nos, the bugatti veyron can go nearly 400mph with and without help from the hill
