I did this in 2 to 2 1/2 hours, got all the loot, went outside, forgot to save, the accidentally crashed my plane car on the way out.
I want to Die.
This game needs a better autosave feature.
my respect to noctis for that it took me a in game week too complete the dungeon meaning he was one week without food or water in a dark places with horror images like the stone faces almost dying hundrets of times just to magicaly escape death the last second. basicly surviving the biggest madhouse isolatet from his friends and he still didnt suffer any psychological damage
That car can turn from a bat mobile to the batwing bruh
Jadin Dixon But, it's only post game u get it bruh
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens: and?
my exact words XD
How the flip did you do that to the cat?!, sweet!!
Cake Baby!.....
Cake Baby! .......
Cake Baby! ........
let me tell you something guys this will not be easy you may think it will take you 40 min but it will take you a few hours the footing in this dungeon is insane .took me nearly 3 hours while i was watching another video it's so tricky .but you get one of the best items in the game black hood which dodge attacks without pressing anything. good luck
amhz007 i literally spent almost all day doing it because i didnt wanna look on the net for help. it was really fun and worth it tho. weird af too.
amhz007 yeah me too the guy i was watching did it in 30 min i did it in 3h30 min shame on me 😢😢
darkrai roxas no way you do it 30 min without prior knowledge or editing bro. its just not possible lol.
Sorry m8 the guy i was watching did it in 30 min whil watching im i did it in 3h and 30 mins
PBG SpazznOut there was one part after the lady statue where i would fall over and over again and the check point was in a bad spot. i wanted toss my ps4 frfr.
You can't get tired of this game. I have never wanted to go back into a game after completing it but FF15 was well worth the wait and there's tons to explore!! It gives you a reason to come back for more because there's so much beauty in this game to see its insanity
I can't wait for future DLC!
Yeah the open world map is great. It's well designed and there are a lot of hidden dungeons to explore. I just have mixed feelings about the side quest. They're alright but some of them feel lazy. Luckily the world itself is interesting so things don't get repetitive. I was actually surprised at this game having great endgame content too. I'm looking forward to the Christmas update.
Sora_X5 wait a Christmas update? Is that the one where it will add new game plus and other things I forgot?
DeathClutch Yeah it's just a bunch of small items and game updates. Here's a link to an article about it: www.dualshockers.com/2016/12/16/final-fantasy-xv-holiday-dlc-content-fully-detailed-item/
Finished the main story last night, very satisfying
Light's Blade me too! 2:00 AM!
Light's Blade same.....ending was too heavy, loved it!
lucas huang I just like how you created a blackhole that kills errvything
WAS THE CREATION OF THIS DUNGEON THE REASON WHY THEY TOOK SO LONG TO MAKE THE GAME?!?!
Now we know why it took 10 years to make this game...
Solo play's gameplay delivered but the storytelling was a bit disappointing. It coulda been better and such a waste of characters
more like 6 years.... we still had heavensward
amazing thing is that this dungeon was designed by only one person named Hiroyuki Nakamura
More like 3 doe
I feel like the main game is just an achievement you have to accomplish to get to these beautiful works of art.
wow This makes Zelda Temples look easy now
OMG ,this dungeon it's freaking big and the amount of death traps and puzzles are outstanding
this dungeon is complete madness , the designer is a hardcore platformer
it took me a few hours, taking breaks here and there to complete the dungeon. i was so ready for it to be over by the end of it, but i strangely kinda want to go back and do it again. as hard as some parts of it were, it was so much fun figuring it all out. square knocked it out of the park with that dungeon.
This game is soo good I recommend you to get it asap. Its like The Witcher 3: Final Fantasy.
cad80 24 True
whats good then ?
in terms of open world, witcher was way more open world.
i was disappointed w/ the driving. you can only drive on a fixed lane its not like u can go off road and crash into monsters.
Alex Matson I’ve played the Witcher 3 with all DLS’s and Final Fantasy 15 and it’s not really the same.
토끼뒷발 they made an update making you be able to go off road in a monster truck, but the mechanics are awful.
Skip to 3:15 for the dungeon.
MistahMOB thanks
MistahMOB thanks, that annoying flying is so boring
you can tell that they are watching a walkthrough to make this walkthrough. they knew where things were already and it seems too noticeable. like they looked confused then immediately turned where to go.
Glad I didn't attempt this dungeon it looks like a pain in the arse
Worth it tho', the stuff u get doing it and the blackhood at the end, for approximately 2 hours of struggling is worth it I would say, well depends.. some ppl do it in an hour , others in 4
Remas S you sure?
CJAdams97 depends how fast u can do it, it can take up from 1 hour (or even less) up to 6 hours, I did it in 3 hours, there's also a speed run where u can get the blackhood but nothing else in one and a half minute
I found that the Costlemark dungeon was the most irritating. Or maybe that was because i finished it at level 40.. lol
Square enix mustve hired someone who worked on Shadow of the colossus and Dark souls for this one
The Sewer Dungeon was already hell for me... I don't know how I'll survive this one
After all of that, you receive this... Good Morning
ChocolateDinosaur94 on this day we become legendary
Haven't played FFXV yet, but even without any battles or encounters, this dungeon is a MASTERPIECE of design! Would they actually make a Metroid-esque Final Fantasy game that really makes you feel lost, letting you find your own way out?
And this is why I'll always be a Final Fantasy fan. So creative, EPIC and full of richness gaming. This maze is like it belongs to the Tomb Raider franchise.
I haven't got to this part - I'm still at "Burden of Expectation". Been doing all the side missions and fishing since the game release. As much as I want to finish the game, I just don't want it to end!! Thank you Square Enix (soft) for being such bosses in the RPG world
A bit of my sanity was left in that dungeon. . .
Guys I give you a warning. When you do all the puzzle and come to the top of the main area do not fall while walking on that beam you will have to do everything again unless you jumped on the down door which I forgot it was there but once you get pass the beams hit the mouth Rock man then go outside and save.
God, it's literally 40 minutes of dungeon. This is unbelievable..
A lot of the endgame dungeons take hours to complete
For those of us who did it blinly it took around 3 hours and the worst part is that you cannot save inside the dungeon (note: i still love this dungeon, the desig was so creative even compared to other plataformes)
Lucas Medina I’m only half way and I have spent 4 hours.
Omg, that dungeon was awesome. It kind of reminded me of how games were on ps1.
What's with the skip with 38:52 in stuck now
To understand and to actually complete the obstacles in this dungeon took a total of 4 hours. Was mostly a lot of fun, but it would've been better if it was split into 3 other dungeons spread out on the map. Maybe completing one would unlock the next because doing all of that in one sitting was getting exhausting.
I couldn't do this after watching a video. It's insane I wouldn't know where to jump next. Haven't played a platformer since sega genesis. You get big props for doing this video game version of hell.
'Fun' is not the word I would use. I've played a lot of platformers over the years but because of the game's jerky controls (which were most certainly not meant for platforming) this level was nine hours of pure torture. Never again.
At least one of us enjoyed it though.
kinda agree, but an easier solution would be to implement some kind of teleporting device to the dungeos entrace after each large section
The way they have made this game is so realistic and so beautiful!!! Definitely my favorite Final Fantasy game with a Devil May Cry twist. Thank you very much for the Pitioss Dungeon Walkthrough IGN!!!
The black hood wasn't worth it imo
Samurai Kingdoms it is if you play on normal and do alot of the end game content. black hood is a life saver in costelmark sealed dungeon.
Bryant Smith It does nothing for me because i time my dodges on time
So do i but sometimesyou can still be hit when dodging if there are to many things coming at u at once and sometimes you dont see projectiles coming from certain angles.
Bryant Smith When you're in the middle of an attack you can't dodge anyways and I've beat the game in it's entirety and got the platinum on normal which is wayyy too easy hopefully God mode will be a challenge.
Yes ive also beat the game and got the plat. I agree the plat was way too easy. Shouldve had actual difficult trophies. I platted the game literally days after got it.
I've seen people take HOURS to get all the way through. It's a very intimidating maze, but I'm gonna give it a shot. You can tell they had a ton of fun creating this dungeon.
*****
If you fall in a pit or if you so much scratch the spikes, you're placed back to a point of safety not far from where you died. I'm not certain how it works, but I can say thankfully you're not reset to the very beginning at least.
every person think its only 40min but you see he skip the fails. so dont think you are 40min in this dungeon
its 3-6 hours. it is a rly hard dungeon
Now that I actually finished it after nearly 5 hours, I’m convinced the concept of this dungeon was to simulate HELL
I honestly feel like I left a part of my soul in there
This game looks like it was extremely expensive to make...
it took like 10 years, they probably had to keep stopping and getting more money
Production proper only started about 4 years ago.
The announced project back in 2006 was canned and restarted with reusing assets like characters and base story. *The director confirmed a while back that the budget didn't match the budget of games like Destiny and GTA V.*
this game blows them away tenfold. I cant wait for the DLCs to drop for this game imagine if they made a co op.
They r it comes with season pass
Multiplayer
Cake Baby
The cut at 38:54 really confused me...did not make it clear where Noctis went after opening that door.
I don't know why people find dungeons fun. I think there the worst aspects of rpgs. You have to be stuck in a dark, shitty cave with terrible camera angles, when their is a luscious (no pun intended) open world outside.
Raymond Regus true. It's can be depressing down there
i don't know how they have the time. I agree with all your points man
You need to play the catacombs of Dark Souls 1
Agreed. There are 2 types of places I hate in RPGs. Swamps and dungeons. Being stuck in these kind of places stresses me out.
Raymond Regus I can relate
lol Crystal Dynamics should take notes.
NotMJJ1427 CDPR take notes.
I mean I thought Rise of the Tomb Raider had some pretty decent tombs, but this dungeon is definitely leagues above any of them.
The Tomb Raider reboot games are grounded in reality and their mechanisms are always justified within our laws of physics and knowledge of the culture that would've created them. This tomb, while awesome design-wise (and omfg so frustrating) couldn't be in the new TR games.
and fighting gods and goddesses in TR is grounded in reality?
The gods and goddesses (and enemies that are 'mystical') are not part of the level design, they are only enemies (and which I agree, are not real). Everything in the design of the maps however is, as I said, justified within our known laws.
I wish everyone would stop comparing every FF game to FFVII they are each individuals. if the only FF game you like is FFVII then you aren't a fan of the series and should save your opinions for FFVII threads.
This dungeon is genuinely the most frustrating thing I've done ever! a maze filled with death traps and puzzles which only have the purpose of making you wanting to jump off a bridge by the end of it.
Reminds me of a super confusing version of the Cave of Wonders in KH1
cake baby
This level design is amazing...
What happened at 38:52 how did you get there?
Steven Donaldson just follow your heart
craziest dungeon ever
Took me like 6 hours to finish this dungeon. And this guy makes it look fairly easy lol
Took them 4 years just to do THIS dungeon
?
secret dungeon? holy f, solely this dungeon has more content than some other full games :o
Damn... That's a crazy dungeon!
Never thought I would live up to a jumping section in a Final Fantasy game
IGN : That one friend that has to spoil everything for the sake of attention.
Jesse Morrison lol
18:45, in the corner are 4 oracle coins, on the stone girl's belly button are ganji gloves
WOW Talk about a shoutout to platforming. I swear the Easter eggs have been great.
"Cake, baby."
Wish this dungeon (along with the menace secret dungeons) were part of the trophy list....
The trophy list was far too easy too grind-related.
This and the menace dungeons were the true challenges of the game.
whats with the cake baby
Incredibly well designed dungeon! Just the wrong character to control through it. This place is more suitably built for jigsaw-chasing bears and star-catching plumbers.
Does Noctis remind anyone of Zack from crisis core?
Benji Price zack was a true hero.
Jamison San "Even if the morrow is barren of promises
Nothing shall forestall my return
To become the dew that quenches the land
To spare the sands, the seas, the skies
I offer thee this silent sacrifice"
-Loveless, Act V
I really got tired of Genesis quoting loveless it drove me nuts
"Infinite in mystery is the gift of the Goddess
We seek it thus, and take to the sky
Ripples form on the water's surface
The wandering soul knows no rest."
- Loveless, Act I
Drives the whole plot as a literal poetic justice, gotta love it.
Takiowns Poker Hmmm... that's very specific lol
Wow, an IGN video with a 30 second advert before it starts?... how rare.
I bet that final fantasy 15 would have sold more on pc I don't know why they didn't focus on that
Prahalad Kangeyan maybe because they had to focus on actually competing the game as much as possible instead of worrying about a pc port that might fail like almost every game this gen
yews but there are ways to counteract piracy like how batman arkham games do they basically dont allow you to glide in the game and eventually in the game where you have to glide you will stop
but the xbox version was unneeded
yes but you could counteract that by requiring an online connection which most pc gamers won't care about
+Prahalad Kangeyan xbox version plays the best tho, framerate issues on ps4
Could you make a video of you flying around the entire map so we can get an idea of the maps size?
This secret dungeon makes/forces Noctis to exhibit his parkour skills...
This is the gamer version of "Hold my beer".
my head hurts watching this. what an insane dungeon !
And here I am, still trying to land the damn car ...
I spent 4h in this hell almost killed someone when it returns me after i fail and need start all over again from checkpoint...especially 2D this was the most frustrating part. That was number 1 hardest thing in ff 15 second hardest for me was dungeon quest a menace sleeps in castlemark about 60 floors i think super hard and you cant use items.
Cloud Strife No items? Potions elixirs and such? How the hell do you do it then I did the one before this and it was 4 hours with items and I almost ran out.
I was 95lvl i think i used ignis regroup to heal everyone and there is camp in every 10 floors to save and heal to.The most hardest thing in there was 2 courels they use blaster and instant death xd, i came in unprepared i sold my safety bits (prevents instant death) somehow i did it...this is a challenge.
I would really like to know the lore about these places. I mean, I'm pretty sure that those are statues of the gods. I guess those wouldn't be uncommon, but I wanna know who built them. I'm betting it's the civilization from thousands of years ago before the countries splintered into their present states, but that still doesn't tell me anything about them and why in Hades these places were built.
So the video is edited poorly... I just completed the last gravity bit at 38.47 but the video skips ahead, i don't know where to go!
I enjoyed getting the thrill of exploring the dungeon and can't wait to play the game on my own :)
can i ask a few things?
- what happens if noctis fell down from the dungeon? do you restart to the last checkpoint, or just die with game over screen?
- how's the dungeon final ultimate loot, is it worth it?
Thankies
nickostrife 1. You will restart at the last checkpoint. No gameover.
2. The item is pretty good. But the dungeon will be worth it if u like to challenge yourself.
1.- You restart instantly at a checkpoint
2.- There are 3 treasure of note in this dungeon: 1: Genji gloves: you will get this near the end of the dungeon, altough they are misseable, they are a a decent defensive accesory. 2: Black hood, it's at the very end of the dungeon, most people think is useless, i think is just ok, it lets you auto-dodge most of the single target attacks. 3: Oracle ascencion coins (around 50) these are found on hard to reach and hidden spots on the dungeon, you can trade these on Altissia for items, the best of wich is a Ribbon that when equipped will make you inmune to all negative status effects such as poison or confuse.
always fell asleep after 5 mins of car driving
Dvo
5 minutes? ever heard of fast traveling?
Dat moment when loading takes 5 minutes xD
29:08 10 years waiting for this.
wtf happened at 38:50? you completely skipped something.
Tom Kubelus lol I was playing the game with the walkthrough and the part that was skipped was just four short jumps which was the hardest part of the whole dungeon
Timmy Davis yep reaching where it skips too is no joke.
Tom Kubelus it’s because he cut out 6 hours of the game.
The character design is truly dreadful in this game I don't think anyone's gunna dispute that
BIGGEST.DUNGEON.EVER.
It took me 4 hours to complete this dungeon. Unless you're a completion junkie or something, it honestly isn't worth it. Just focus on dodging/parrying and you'll be fine. The black hood does the exact same thing as the reflex enhancer.
I've never had a game give me so much anxiety.. untill now.
HOW!!! that Flying CAR how O_O
Zacharias Ersa you get the part from the last fortress you raid. It's a level 46 mission. Afterwards have Cindy install it and you're clear to fly.
guybeleeve I see I'm on the mission of that one. Near hammer head right?, ty
yo, this is unreal, amazing old school dungeon
Is there anything you cant do in this game?
Greg S. let's see you can fight use magic summons drive hunt go fishing explore a dungeon you can even cook in this game?! racing? platformer? RPG! open world?! its Japanese?! a dating sim?! plant some corpses? . . . . . .
Wow. You beat the faster than us.. Bravo..
I do snake thanks
so this is why they cut the story so short. half the game files are all just this dungeon.
Once i beat a game i tend to never pick it up again, im glad these videos exist, i would not have enjoyed this kind of platforming with the controls and camera this game has lol
This game took a lot from dark souls slash bloodborne the campfires are like bonfires in a way the items are "shinys" gameplay is similar to souls, this dungeon reminds me of the defiled dungeon in bloodborne in a way it was hard but persistence pays off
You skipped at 38:00 to god knows where!!! Wtf IGN!!
Landing was a chore enough. Then finding the denguoen is another task. But omg this dungeon is batty.
The only unique items in here are Genji Gloves and Black Hood and they're not worth it. Was really disappointed with Genji Gloves not having Break Damage Limit.
Omegaslashbuster1 wait I missed the genji gloves argh
No boss fight? Bummer
Theres no fighting in this dungeon. Why would there be a boss.
Manage to finish this dungeon and get the black hood in one hour woot
Ez game ez life
what does that last switch on the bottom right that he doesn't touch do? its at about 40:18 and you can see it again at 40:30 on the left when he drops down from the pillar? The elevator switch at the end has 2 nodes that aren't lit up, could that be the reason why? In my play through I had only one node missing.
Two things first where is this dungeon? I must have missed it somewhere and second thing. at 29:23 it makes it look like you are playing some kind of old atari game.
29:08 The weird and funny part of the dungeon started
That's 40 minutes of my life I'm never getting back
Super Mario called... they said they want their level back
32:31 matrix style
That is INSANE haha!
Very souls-y, I did everything else in the game and didn't know this place existed at all!
took me 4 hours, it was the most infuriating thing I've done in a long time.
yep me too
What objects item or other stuff you can get in here? I mean, what is the interesting thing to go and spend hours in this dungeon...
This dungeon is INSANE.
