Keep the dark stain on the side table I love the items you found too! Oh Wow I love the pretty plates you made a tiered tray that was beautiful ,I like how you shop your house first ! That’s me too ! great ideas and inspirations 😃
The sea glass paint on the candy dish looks so beautiful. You seem to really enjoy crafting, and to pull amazing ideas out of a very creative imagination.
Simply amazing I love the way your mind thinks. I've been watching your videos for 3 hours now oh, now I think I am addicted. If you had a TV show I would watch it every single day. Thank you so much for the ideas you have.
I just crack up when you go like, "$4.00... or $6.00 is it worth it?" And I'm looking at the thing thinking, "uh, nooooo." And then you paint or simply style it and I am in complete awe. The salt and pepper shakers on sticks looked so ridiculous when you asked if they were worth $6.00, but hanging with your cutting boards I can see they are the coolest thing ever! You are such an inspiration. I'm loving this video.
It would have really popped if you'd added a little bit of gold and black to the abstract wall art to match the frame a bit. But all in all, it's cute. I think that I am going to try it. Thanks for the idea.
omgoodness your hubby is adorable! I think he did good, I like that lamp shade or candle holder! You could probably put a little tea light holder and tea light in it and just set it on a table. You're awesome at diys...he has total confidence in you making something great!!
I have one tip, if you are going to buy glassware, don’t buy flimsy stuff. Pop it through the dishwasher ( if not a very hot wash) so you know if it’s got any “invisible” cracks or damage. THEN make stuff with it.
So true, bought a glass jar from dollar tree before and when i put hot water in it, it literally exploded/shattered EVERYWHERE. It was actually a frightening experience. I learnt my lesson then and there.
Thank you for something other than Dollar Tree items. You have such great ideas but the Dollar Tree items are a little cheap looking. Thrift shops sometimes have such high quality items, you can really get some good finds. Thank you for the ideas.
You are so talented! I love watching your videos especially observing how your mind works. You ccome up with incredible ideas that wouldn't even occur to most people. Thank you for sharing all your wonderful ideas with us. 😊
It is seen in ALL of your videos; you are truly a sincere woman of God. Your listening to and following the leading of the Holy Spirit has not only blessed you and and your family; it has caused many, many others to come into spiritual and financial blessings. I prayed for clarity to start my business and I was led to you. Your video popped up without me putting in a search one day right after prayer. I was apprehensive and somewhat afraid to start a business at my age. After watching your video for the first time, I was given an incredibly strong confidence to pursue my dream. I have now started my gift basket business to include my handmade unique earrings. You have helped me step up, step out, and move forward to use the many creative crafting abilities God has given me to financially sustain myself and help others while having fun and blessing others. I am excited to hit the streets for the first time. It is amazing to me that God would inspire me at this late age in my life to start a new business through a person from socialedia that I've never met. A talented, creative, annointed woman of God. Thank you for all you do. I will continue to "like/comment" and support your channel. Maybe even visit your boutique one day soon. 😊 You and your support team are so appreciated. You have helped me set up, organize, purchase, color coordinate, wrap my boxes, get my bows made professionally, now Im filling my baskets and going to made my money, honey!
Liz, you have a fantastic eye for creating really upscale looking results. One little suggestion I hope you'll consider: Please use a ruler with the rotary cutter. It is extremely easy to do serious harm to your fingers. Never, ever have any body part on in the line you're going to cut, and please, as an influencer of others, demonstrate safe techniques in your videos. Otherwise, you're doing great!
Liz I am very upset that you don't give proper credit to your inspection manager--your doggy is so cute as he was checking things out and posing!! I love the fabric in the frame. I am a quilter and I have a beautiful African fabric that I cannot bring myself to cut. This will be perfect. I almost fainted when you spray-painted that globe black. Yes, I am from that era 🤣. Thanks for your ideas and enthusiasm.
I to was saying to you don't do anything to the world globe. Then you did! I wasn't happy 😕. I've wanted one for a very long time. I don't know how old your kids are but that is an excellent teaching tool. It's good for kids and adults alike. I do like all your creative ways of making stuff look better than it was to begin with. I wish I had your creativity!! Keep up the good work Liz 😃
@lisalang6071 I have always wanted one too as the world globes are so nostalgic. I love to learn myself. I want to be able to flag every place I have visited or worked. Many many years ago I found a company (I think it was in Germany) that still made them by hand. It was extremely expensive, of course that was based on a soldiers salary 🙃.
I think I wouldn't have been able to resist using that white and yellow fabric to make some sort of summer shawl or cardigan! It seems so summery and cheery and makes me want to frolic in a field of daisies!
You're so creative and skilled ! On the galvanized metal feed scoop - I'm betting that it was made for decor. I have never seen a feed scoop with feet on it before, or a handle quite like that - not just style but how it's positioned.. . I grew up on a dairy farm and have been on several other's farms. While it's been mostly just plastic scoops around for the past 30 years, I have seen several old metal ones, back in the 80s & 90s, and a few new ones in stores or catalogues since. I probably would have used it as is, on a porch table as a vase &/or centerpiece of sorts, but I also love what you did with it, esp. color and font choices :). On that little wood dish you put the row of Xs on, and then added more rows of shapes... I think it ended up to busy and... unsophisticated. JUST giving you my perspective, in case it helps you in some way. NOT trying to be a heckler OR make you see what I see and then feel bad ! I myself am 43 and STILL just learning the "less is more* and to self edit better. (Probably as evidenced by this long comment !) PS - I love all your earrings and I'm not usually a fan of lipstick and don't wear it myself but yours looks nice and you pair it so well with your earrings :) !!
I hope You keep brown table with doors and didnt sanded it, in Sweden antiqes should not be transformed they are beautiful as they are, aspecially very old items 🤗
Clamping the straight edge timber board you used to make the pencil line at each end, makes a great guide for your circular saw. No pencil line required and a super quick straight saw cut..
Liz, I love your stuff! You always have the cutest ideas. 1 complaint though, please finish the back...that shawl picture was cute, but just a little more butcher paper on the back would have finished it. But the cutting board tray, if that is used as a tray, the back will be seen...it should have been treated the same as the front...
You guys have the best dollar tree shops. The stuff you make and for the prices is brilliant. I do be amazed at the prices. Here in Ireland they are called euro shops but nothing is a euro lol so I save things I think I could re purpose and end up with loads of junk because i dont know what to do with it lol. Unfortunately, creativity doesn't come naturally to me,hence watching your videos, ha. BTW you're a natural on TV. I watch alot of RUclips stuff and I also turn off alot of it. There can be a lot of fast talking, talking constantly without speeding up some parts, not taking a breath, etc. Anyway, thanks for all your work. It can't be easy x
The metal scooper thing is a coal scuttle, for picking up coal and storing it for coal fires that they used in the old days and the frame that was in pieces, I have one and I used to use it when I was doing a silk painting course and this is a frame that you can put together on the spot when you are doing a silk painting session, There are little flat push pins that you then secure the oil with along the frame as the wood is very soft!
Framed wood filler art project, once it was on the wall it looked really amazing. I think itloooks like an oak leaf or a bit like a stylized tornado. I am going with the leaf. I’m an artist myself & I like the dimensional work you do. I am inspired to get out a project and getting to work (more like playing for me)😊😎❤️🐶🐾🇨🇦👩🏻🎨
Lol...at 1:28:17.... That little silver "tool" your using is actually a kitchen tool called a metal bench scraper... They're used for scraping your counters, cutting boards off when using dough products...they are also used for cutting dough. You'll find them in the kitchen gadgets like sharp knives., Strainers, measuring cups, etc... You can find similar ones in plastic ( hard to find in stores, but can be found on Amazon) those are BOWL scrapers...really handy also ..you can also use them for crafting techniques. It's really amazing the everyday things you actually have around your house that can be incorporated into crafting tools instead of buying expensive " tools"
Your dog is so cute sniffing around like he's going to help you with the project! Chair was probably exposed to some animal(s) in its past life. Thx fir all the decorating ideas. I just live your sebse if style and ease with your creativity.
You’re imagination, and talent, are amazing! I absolutely love watching you. Incidentally, you have a beautiful home! You have a real gift at decorating!
I love the chair and vase! But your sweet little puppy makes it even cuter. 🐶❤️ I am so glad I subscribed to your RUclips channel. You have great ideas
First of all, somehow you did all your projects (except stain) without gloves. And you had a very nice manicure throughout. No paint on your hands!!! I would have been covered after project one. I like your projects and will try some of them depending on what materials are available It would be great to have some of these projects have some color, everything was neutral. I would like to see wall art with color, etc.
Sand added to your paint gives a great texture to any project! I enjoy your channel! So many of the items you find are retro... so retro to me, as l will be 75 2/6....the Lord willing! Jan 😊
Girl! Is there nothing you can’t do? Is there a tool you are lacking? I really like this compilation you’ve put together from all your adventures to the thrift stores. You have an incredible imagination and I’ve enjoyed watching you use it. Looking forward to more creativity from you!
Love all your flips. I live in a small town in southwest Texas with no thrift stores. I have to drive 120 miles to SA to go thrifting. Keep up the good work.👍💕
Love all your DIYs however the framed large paintings, if you could redo them like something more abstract and mysterious. Anyway I am getting so many ideas in my head from your DIYs.
The frame using the wood filler would be cute with children or grandchildren hand prints or maybe dog paw prints. I’m new to your channel and so happy I did because you explain everything as you go. I’m seriously looking to create something new out of some of my ‘stuff’ first and go from there. Seems using my accounting office’s 2nd room needs organized and the space to repurpose. I started Christmas this year DIYing and family and friends love what I personally made for them. Surely, you’ve done hand prints before and there’s probably a better product to use but I got the need to do this for me, first. This video is going to be my ‘go to’ for a list of items I need. Not sure how I’ll do with the saws, etc 😅 I just got started with the 6000 glue and a hot glue gun! Oh my I need a cricket too! Thanks for the inspiration~it’s definitely a pro and not a con on my list!
Your way of staining the chair then sanding it in places to give it the worn look, was exactly the trick I needed to do with a chair I have and love, but was unhappy with after I had restored it.
I really like the way you use power tools…a girl after my own heart! I took a woodworking course for women a few years ago, and I’ve made lots of things since that…so, when you spray paint…is this on your deck? Balcony? Do you get paint all over the bricks etc?
I love your ideas and how quickly you go from one to another. Not to sound strange, but I have to say your eyes are stunning and your husband? who finds you things is hilarious.
Oh my gosh the cabinet doors were so awesome and you are so amazing. I love love love what you do. I’m a farm girl / beaching on the weekends. So thanks for all your shares.
U are a genius Liz u give so much, ideas all the time I watch yr show 🙌 I am from South Africa u are my mentor u taught me not to throw away things and to think, I like nice things thank u very much 👌❤️
Some really neat ideas ! I have to admit, the Walnut burl box painted white made me want to cry though.
I love your projects. Even if something isn't my thing, I always enjoy watching the process.
Another wall art is gluing texture wall paper &then paint it whether framed or not
I am obsessed with these DIY's. Yours are the best. They don't look cheap.
Keep the dark stain on the side table I love the items you found too! Oh Wow I love the pretty plates you made a tiered tray that was beautiful ,I like how you shop your house first ! That’s me too ! great ideas and inspirations 😃
I am so impressed ❤. Good job. You’ve inspired me to do this myself. Thank you for posting this. ❤️❤️❤️
great ideas and i love your fuzzy helper
I cannot tell you how much I love your ideas. It's taken my crafting to a whole other level. Especially love the thrifting videos. 🥰🥰🥰
The sea glass paint on the candy dish looks so beautiful. You seem to really enjoy crafting, and to pull amazing ideas out of a very creative imagination.
It
I think people buy more when they have a visual of how it all goes together/staging. OMG $2 coffee bags!! Would have bought them all
I have alot of those coffee bean bags I'd like to sell...
Simply amazing I love the way your mind thinks. I've been watching your videos for 3 hours now oh, now I think I am addicted. If you had a TV show I would watch it every single day. Thank you so much for the ideas you have.
I sure would watch Liz every day!!!❤😊
The little stand table looks great in your room just as it is!! I love the style!!
Would love to see how you STORE-ORGANIZE all your DIY supplies, paints, stems, etc….
Yes thrifting has gotten expensive.
⁰
You have made some fantastic projects. Your husband is hilarious with a brilliant sense of humour! You are a great couple 😍
@44:40 just use toothpicks to push into holes for plaque mount holes, quicker than wood filler.
LOVE the dark stain! What a cute cabinet that you can actually hide things in!
Thanks Melinda!
You could have had a peice of glass cut to cover protect the fabric
on your tray! 😊
That cutting board turned into a tray is beautiful
WOOOOOOW. I LOVE ❤️ THIS VIDEO. A BIG THANK YOU FOR THE GREAT IDEAS
I'm obsessed with these videos! Working at a Thrift Store makes it even more interesting for sure!!
Thank you so much Crystal!
@@lizfenwickdiy, I got a weird message on one of my comments. You may have been compromised again, Ms. Liz.
Love chairs like that...have several around the house as decor pieces with pillows and afghans and I only buy sturdy ones....looks 😃
I believe your cute little table is also meant to slide under the front of the couch/sofa as a tray table :)
Yes
I think the scoop was a fire place scoop. You use it to scoop out the ashes. I loved it as a mail container.
I enjoy your narration style :) So natural but also easy to understand and chill :)
It would have really popped if you'd added a little bit of gold and black to the abstract wall art to match the frame a bit. But all in all, it's cute. I think that I am going to try it. Thanks for the idea.

The nightstand don’t change it leave it the way it is pretty cute like it the way it’s is,👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I absolutely loved the beads you removed on diy #30. I personally thought it gave it more character and looked high end. Overall you do great work
Came here to say that myself. That's what gave it its great character
I totally agree. When she removed the beads I was like NOOOOOOOOOOO lol.
It is seen in ALL of your videos; you are truly a sincere woman of God. You have helped me set up, organize, purchase, color coordinate, wrap my boxes, get my bows made professionally, now Im filling my baskets and going to made my money, honey!
I love your content! FYI, try using a hair dryer on the price stickers, it works wonders to peel them right off with no left over residue.
Hi puppy! Adorable!! I can't believe you are so creative & artistic! Jeez girl. Awesome channel 👏
YOU ARE GREAT.SO TALENTED.
Goo gone works but you must go do something else and let it sit follow the instructions.
Dough Bench Scraper?
I would have never thought to have used that for Measuring or Marking! WOW! THANX!
A ruler works, too. But i do Horror DIY, so maybe not.
Moose on the chair...adorable!!! Love the large picture! I really enjoy your thrift makeover videos. Amazing transformations.
Thank you!
The table is awesome and I wouldn’t do anything to it
OMG, the *metal* container you put plaster of Paris on was COPPER! Never paint over copper! Enjoyed most of your video, but that made my heart hurt.
And totally ruined 3 nice cabinet doors that could have been put to better use.
This lady LOVES black!!
Reminiscent of the Rolling Stones song: "I Want it Painted Black!"
Im cracking up when your hubby was suggesting how to use his thrift store findings!!🤣🤣🤣🤣
unbelievable! takes tackey to a whole new level=in the cellar!
That plywood wall art...not!
I love your little fur baby! I used to have a shitzu just like yours her name was Emma. We had her for 11 years. Such a sweetheart ❤
I also like your creativity…looking at an old something and making it into a modern home accent. You inspire me!
Lots of great ideas in this video.
I have not seen a clock like this. It's interesting that you cleaned the galvanized "scoop" but the stickers were still on it.
Haha yes my dog Moose loves to help out!
Great idea!
Keep the side table as is. Great video 😊
You're so creative and skilled ! On the galvanized metal feed scoop - I'm betting that it was made for decor. (Probably as evidenced by this long comment !)
PS - I love all your earrings and I'm not usually a fan of lipstick and don't wear it myself but yours looks nice and you pair it so well with your earrings :) !!
I love your little assistant that shows up in your videos!
I hope You keep brown table with doors and didnt sanded it, in Sweden antiqes should not be transformed they are beautiful as they are, aspecially very old items 🤗
She apparently doesn't know antiques from 'vintage'
Clamping the straight edge timber board you used to make the pencil line at each end, makes a great guide for your circular saw. No pencil line required and a super quick straight saw cut..
Liz, I love your stuff! You always have the cutest ideas. 1 complaint though, please finish the back...that shawl picture was cute, but just a little more butcher paper on the back would have finished it. But the cutting board tray, if that is used as a tray, the back will be seen...it should have been treated the same as the front...
And the wood should have been waxed, oil rubbed, something...left porous like that, anything that spills on it is going to get soaked right up!
Oh I checked the pictures again & saw icecream!!
I love watching your little baby helping and supervising you
Lol...at 1:28:17.... That little silver "tool" your using is actually a kitchen tool called a metal bench scraper... They're used for scraping your counters, cutting boards off when using dough products...they are also used for cutting dough.

Your dog is so cute sniffing around like he's going to help you with the project! Chair was probably exposed to some animal(s) in its past life. Thx fir all the decorating ideas. I just live your sebse if style and ease with your creativity.
I had seen a few of of the items that you DIY but not all of them. I really really love the one that you made into a mail holder that was pretty cool.
You’re imagination, and talent, are amazing! I absolutely love watching you. Incidentally, you have a beautiful home! You have a real gift at decorating!
Having all the proper tools help as well…
I love the chair and vase! But your sweet little puppy makes it even cuter. 🐶❤️
I am so glad I subscribed to your RUclips channel. You have great ideas
Thank you Liz, you are the best DIY'r and art creator❤ Like your style.
Thank you for the Before & After shots. I love that simple feature so much!
Thanks for watching Donna!
First of all, somehow you did all your projects (except stain) without gloves. And you had a very nice manicure throughout. No paint on your hands!!! I would have been covered after project one. @LizfenwickDIY1 Stop your bull$hit no one believes you. I just keep reporting you.
Thank you so much!
I'm a new watcher. Great hacks! Where did you get your pinky drills, etc?
I mentioned pink 💗
I meant to say Pink.
You should check out the hardware at the thrift stores. They have some amazing finds there too.
Thanks from İstanbul Türkiye. You are a talented designer.
Hmm. Apparently you can do a lot with a coat of paint. I'm already sewing and crocheting projects for around the house.
You are a very creative woman with a clear vision for everything you see . .
Love all your creations Liz, you are very versatile.
Omg you two are so cute. I just teared up seeing you and your husband 😍
The 2 “picture frames” you bought with the lampshade are actually stretchers for canvases
I think the dish you painted with amber sea glass looks like depression era glass. Beautiful.
Love all your flips. I live in a small town in southwest Texas with no thrift stores. I have to drive 120 miles to SA to go thrifting. Keep up the good work.👍💕
I love your style and creative brain, Liz. Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you!
Love all your DIYs however the framed large paintings, if you could redo them like something more abstract and mysterious. Anyway I am getting so many ideas in my head from your DIYs.
Wall decor is special! The salt and pepper look great!!
The large wall art DIY is Oh so perfect. I love making my own wall art. It is so fun and yours…. No one else’s will have it. Good job!
Dog is the best decoration of all! 😁♥️
The frame using the wood filler would be cute with children or grandchildren hand prints or maybe dog paw prints. I’m new to your channel and so happy I did because you explain everything as you go. You wonderful art work that wa a nice my favorite but trying a different pattern its a great idea
You spray painting with the white sneakers on made me so anxious! 😱😩🤪😵😳😵💫
I love how involved your dog is in these projects 😅
Your way of staining the chair then sanding it in places to give it the worn look, was exactly the trick I needed to do with a chair I have and love, but was unhappy with after I had restored it.
Round side table looks great as original!
Love the way your dog is helping
He’s the best!
Keep the table the way it is
I really like the way you use power tools…a girl after my own heart!
I. LOVE. all you DIY projects ❤❤ Your ideas are so do-able and your home decor must look like it costs a fortune !!!
Oh my God I love the way that black glue came out that's a very great idea
I love the black frame that you did with the tan putty and then you painted it white I love that it came out nice
