I love making and receiving homemade GIFTS. My favorites from this video are the pretzel candy in the beautiful covered candy dishes, the bookmark, and the decorated hats!
Liz, these ideas are fabulous! As a grandmother of kids that are getting older your money gift ideas are fabulous. Thanks so much for sharing. Everything was great.
On the money tree you could use the round tipped push pins with the colored balls on them. You can get them at Walmart or Staples, they will look like ornaments on the tree and you could add a string of battery operated mini lights and just melt a small hole in the base bowl with a metal pin with a lighter you can make the hole so you can glue the lights battery box in the bowl under the tree... it would be so much more decorative for a money tree gift
Great gift ideas. My favorite was the money tree and the one with the iron on patches. I've done some of the candy items. They came out great. The word of the day is GIFTS.
I love the gift card tree. The candy dishes together. The sleigh. The money wreath.but hard to take it somewhere without wrecking it ???The jewelry dish too. Great ideas! 🎄🎄🎄
I *just* posted a secondhand gift idea video & the algorithm suggested this one for me to watch. I *love* how you mixed/matched thrifted items with new stuff to make them special. My fav idea was the one you shaped like candy. Inexpensive but the presentation makes it really special. I'm gonna try the shower steamers for some gift basket additions!
O my. I'm not sure I can pick a favorite. I loved the pretzel candy with the thrifted candy jars. I also loved the candy sleighs. But the money tree was awesome too. I have a 13yr old grandson that would really get a kick out of the money tree and the gift card tree.
A neighbor once gave us a tree filled with lottery scratchoffs. We won less than she paid for them, but it was a fun activity as we waited for my married daughter to arrive.
I really liked you idea for the vintage jewelry. I have several boxes of vintage jewelry from my mom. Most of what's in the boxes is jewelry from my mom's two sisters and the rest was my mom's.
For the sleds….these are cute. I also make less expensive ones….smaller candy canes and chocolate bars like Kit Kat or Aero. I wrap the bars in plain tissue paper, then tie a ribbon around. For a lot of children, these are more affordable….
gifts - omg . . i love the bead bow . .. finally something to do with all the beads from when I used to make jewelry. Now to find the time to create this. I love the gifts using thrifted items. Now I will be on a mission to find some glass items to use in gift giving. Thanks Liz!!
I love the giant candy in cellophane, the money tree, and the pretzel bark. I'll be using them, since my teenage grandchildren want their fav candy and cash! Thanks for the great ideas!
Loved the homemade candy with thrift store candy dishes!! Too cute!! Also, loved the homemade bookmark with a book to give as a gift. The gift card tree reminds me of a lottery scratch off tree. Like the idea of doing a tea tree, if you can find them in the colorful packets. The candy sleigh is cute. The hostess basket is neat from thrifted items. Gifts. T4S!! 🤶❤🎅🎄🎀🎄🌲⛄❄🌲⛄❄🎆🎆🎆
GIFTS IS THE WORD OF THE DAY! 🩵 Love your channel Liz and love these fun and affordable gifts and the home made ones. The bath on a I would’ve added color and glitter but I get trying to stay under ten minutes!
I've been wanting to make my daughter a bookmark! Im a candle maker & make wildflower candles so I already have the flowers & my boss owns printing company that makes beautiful paper. What a perfect stocking stuffer.
Love all of the projects! I used to sell Paparazzi jewelry and ended up not enjoying it after a few weeks. With that said, I had already purchased a huge amount of the various types of jewelry still in their packaging in a huge container, so I will try to create individual gifts using some of your ideas. Possibly jewelry trees that allow individuals to choose on a "first come, first serve" basis.
The Dollar Bill tree (w/Wreath opt)! But honestly, they were ALL great ideas. The Pretzel Bark in a thrifted crystal dish, bath bombs, candy sleigh, they were all simple yet sophisticated. Win-Win! Merry Christmas Liz! L
GIFTS, I saw some great ideas for my sisters-in-law! The thrift store presents and candy in the wrapper and the sled made with candy were my favorites!❤
I made some bookmarks using flower stickers on card stock and covered with packing tape on both sides. They looked great. Several years ago I made a “log” truck, printing out a truck with a trailer and rolled up dollar bills for the logs. It was a big hit with my young grandson. Glue dots should work to attach.
"LIZ if you don't mind if I make a suggestion" If the people have a pet ( like a Dog) I wouldn't use the straight pins to hold the money on the form cone ...my Dog ended up having a needle stuck inside her paw and everytime she jumped up on my robe would she would cry. I looked at her paws and saw the needle there embedded in her paw poor girl! My husband removed it with his pliers.. Ever since that happen I use clips to hold my patterns in place when I'm cutting. Oh but everything you created for us was wonderful, so festive, and inspiring (as usual) The hats with the iron on decals was so sweet!! Your idea for the vintage ring and dish you painted was wrapped so cute in that Christmas with SNOW BALL for filler!!! Thank you Liz another great Video to glean from!!
All of your ideas were so cute. I will keep them in mind for presents. But the chocolate pretzels will be easy to make with my 5 year old. Thank you for all the ideas!
I loved the chocolate covered pretzels and the candy sled. Also, the money tree with the pins on the foam cone is a DIY I'm going to use this Holiday 2024.
I love the chocolate on the pretzels- and the thrifted candy dish !!. Suggestion. The snowballs with the jewelry dish in the middle. i might add some greenery to not just see cardboard around the snowballs. or even dollar store wrapping paper crumpled up. my favorite is deep blue and silver ( i might end up making the jewelry tray silver. Your ideas are the best . The basket with the hostess gift was amazing too. i probably wont have the money for that, but i would probably do something about half cost in a small basket - some of which you showed. Peppermont tea might be fu in the tea box.
The gift card and money tree caught my eye bc I have young adult children (18 &20) and they basically want/need money! Thanks for the ideas!!!
Liz, I’m a huge advocate of reading. So young or old most of my gift recipients get books. The bookmark is a really nice idea.
I love making and receiving homemade GIFTS. My favorites from this video are the pretzel candy in the beautiful covered candy dishes, the bookmark, and the decorated hats!
I love the tea gift basket with one exception - polish the silver please!
I kind of like the tarnish though
Some like the patina. It gives it a warmer look when used as decor.
@ patina was the word I was looking for lol. Tarnish works but patina sounds better. It’s not so fancy then
Agreed.
Patina is fine just not for me. Like I said I do love the tea basket idea.
Antique candy dish with homemade candy is really cool 😊
So many great ideas! Thanks for the inspo! Love the candy jar idea with the beaded detail & the hats at the end!❤❤❤
I have that same candy dish from my mom,, RIP MOMA. I think it would be a great gift with candy for my only surviving sibling. Thx❤❤❤

So smart and a wonderful way to re-purpose and reduce waste! ❤
I’m always looking for vintage oval dishes/plates to give christmas cookies to my neighbors. Now I’m on the look for candy dishes.❤cute ideas
I always look all year for containers for homemade chocolates.
I make homemade candy every year to gift. I’m going to look for candy jars at thrift stores. What a great idea!
The candy in those thrifted jars ! Wow looks so pretty and tasty !!
Omgoodness, the pretzel candy is perfect. I was thinking of doing some sort of it, the pretzel candy bark is just the key. Thank you kindly.

Lots of great ideas! I will definately make the pretzel candy for my next cards night with my friends! Thank you
A neighbor once gave us a tree filled with lottery scratchoffs. We won less than she paid for them, but it was a fun activity as we waited for my married daughter to arrive.
I put $2 lottery scratch offs in each one of my gifts one year. Nobody won but I told everybody that they owed me $2 if they won😂
Yeah lottery scratch offs are like throwing your money away. I would never give those as gifts.
Gifts😊
Omg I wish I could see a picture. So fun!
