I’m thrift shopping tomorrow so getting ideas. I just got a divorce and had to vacate my house quickly for my safety so I didn’t get to bring a lot of my decor so your ideas are going to help me make new decor for my new home!!! Thanks Liz!
Very inspiring. I love the way you put a side by side picture of the original item and your diy dupe. Many channels fail to do that and you are always rewinding it. Your dupes are very convincing and attractive
OMG! You absolutely hit a home run! In my opinion this is your best thrift store video! I love thrift stores anyway, and everyone of these is a winner. The simple lampshade riser is brilliant!
I am up at 12:30AM watching this and loving it!!! I went to my garage to hunt for something to craft and the lights are all out! So I finished the video. Also I am placing an Amazon order to get some items you use and recommend!!!
I love your thrift flip's!!!❤❤❤ I know this is a compilation video but it's inspiration and I think you do a marvelous job on them. I believe my favorite is how you took that light fixture and made that beautiful bowl for your coffee table, it's stunning!!!
I'm freaking obsessed with your channel - I can't stop thinking about baskets, jars, and the dollar store and thrift store now!! Why am I wasting money on Amazon???
Li z - I love watching your videos. You have an ability to see beauty in the ordinary. Your demos of how you turn thrifted or stash items into current, beautiful items. Thank you for sharing!!
I ❤ everything about this makeover. I wouldn't change a thing! It's just perfect. From the wall color, to the carpet, to the panel molding, the new sofa and chair, the unit under the tv (what a great idea!!) and all those styled bookshelves. Sit back now and enjoy the finished results!!!
What super projects Liz! I so enjoyed this video! I love the humongous lamp , the glass mushrooms and the basket with the leather handles - infact, I love them all! You have some amazing ideas ! Thank you for sharing! Ann x 😊😊😊
Since I found you I watch all of your videos. I don’t do DIY myself, but just love what you do, and sometimes get tips that I CAN use! I was wondering with those two vases at 53:10 whether a synthetic sponge would have given much more of the pattern than the spray bottle. I actually thought that’s what you’d use, but I’m not very practical, so I could be wrong.
Just started watching your vids as im redoing my whole house and wanted some ideas and you definitely provided me with lots of inspiration, so my gift to you is… if you hate removing labels, the easiest, quickest and cleanest way to remove sticky labels, is to use a hairdryer, blast the sticker for a min and it will heat the glue and remove the labels 😘
Hey Liz…here’s a tip to make those faux “leather” trays to make it look more like real leather. Use wax for chalk paint once the paint is dry. When you buff the wax after drying, it looks like real leather!
I would love to see a full house tour! Your house must be fairly big I don’t have that many spaces to decorate in my house. I wonder what you do with all the extra stuff that you rotate through?
This was a very inspiring Dup video. I loved the way you showed the thrift item, then immediately went into your DIY. Very great ideas, and loved the time spent on this. Loved it!! 😃❤️
Liz,can you tell me please, where do you find all those different techniques? Painting, and textures, with us!!!.all these wonderful ideas? Love you, for all of your ideas and sharing them with us!!!
Good Tuesday morning Liz. Excellent video as always. Your thrifting skills are absolutely impeccable. Thanks for sharing a a look at all the items you scored. 😉😊
I love it! The mixture using paint and baking soda...what does it do for the consistency of the paint. Thanks for all of these beautiful home decor ideas!
Liz, I love baskets! I really loved the thrifted one “as is” when you purchased it. I also like the color much better than Pottery Barn’s baskets. I looked at it again and I think the hardware and leather straps would have needed some makeover work. Anyway, I just LOVE the square basket and it’s way prettier than the Pottery Barn’s. ❤👍
Anytime you buy any type of fabric...loose or already on a item do you wash it!.? I find fabric items all the time, but i pass on them because I always worry about what might be harboring inside or on them.
Liz I loved these. I’ve been watching you for so long and I’ve kinda slowed down in dollar tree diys cuz they’re usually so small. I live for the thrift ones though! Maybe it’s due to it being the last one but my favorite is that lamp! It’s spectacular and I’ve wondered about printing lamp shades for a very long time. I wasn’t able to find much about it. I’m wondering about it cracking over time but it’s thrifted. What do you have to lose I guess.. lol!
Love and will be trying many! Off topic question that I must know! Your hair style while you’re wearing the yellow smiley face shirt, what technique or tool do you use to get those waves? It’s gorge! 😍
Hi Liz. As many price tags as you remove you might want to invest in a heat tool, they work great at melting the glue of the price tags and they come right off. A little hint from me to you. Patti ( A blow drier works too)
I love you. Show ,thank you for showing how you can make amazing thing s cheaply ,cause all the other ones I have watch are unafordable.so ty you do a,amazing job .
When you repurposed the light shade for the succulents, I thought Sure you would line it with a coffee filter first, to keep the soil from sifting through those big holes on the bottom!!! They're porous enough to let water drain, but they hold the dirt in the pot!!!
I love how the old become new again. They look great. I have a 32 year old brass floor lamp that the bottom base, half of it looks corroded. Can I spray painted? Or what do you suggest I can do to make it brassy and shiny again? Thank you.
Liz, these are awesome! I always wonder though: why don’t you use a Clorox type wipe rather than a wet paper towel to clean your thrifted items off? Am I going overboard or is it just personal preference? Thanks!
Omgoodness your Re-Store is soooo nice! Im in Cincinnati and ours is overpriced stuff that even a Goodwill wouldn't even try to sell. Looks more like a salvage scrap yard. 😩 and our Goodwills are just as overpriced as well.
I’m thrift shopping tomorrow so getting ideas. I just got a divorce and had to vacate my house quickly for my safety so I didn’t get to bring a lot of my decor so your ideas are going to help me make new decor for my new home!!! Thanks Liz!
You can have the police to escort you to get your things out. God bless you for safety & better life. 🙏❤️💐

I like the things that the characteristics weren’t destroy. Thank you for not destroying the books. I help my breath.
The last lamp came out better looking than the Pottery Barns, how surprisinly wonderful! Thank you, Liz

As usual beautiful ideas from a great lady. Your diy's are very unique & beautiful. Love them
The wood bowl in the beginning would be cute if it was half painted like an angle. For a different use but love this ❤

Crafty you are, thank you for sharing
Other than making sure the seams edges and colors blend well, everything else is great…
Your black lamp looks better than the pottery barn one!
Maravilloso trabajo, eres una gran artista, felicidades 🎊
Love your ideas ❤
I love how the old become new again. They look great. I have a 32 year old brass floor lamp that the bottom base, half of it looks corroded. Can I spray painted? Or what do you suggest I can do to make it brassy and shiny again? Thank you.
Have you tried polishing it with Brasso? I would try that before painting it.
@@stephaniknutson5530 Thank you for you recommendation. I will try Brasso and hope the base of the floor lamp can be restored.
I love it all but I love the $10 lamps
Liz, these are awesome! I always wonder though: why don’t you use a Clorox type wipe rather than a wet paper towel to clean your thrifted items off? Am I going overboard or is it just personal preference?

Hi Liz,
What color of rub n buff did you use on those 2 lamps?
I love your projects
It is truly beautiful ❤😊
What does the painted shade look like when turned on in the evening?
I really enjoyed this video.
I'm so glad!
