Add vinegar to towels in the wash--they are so full and fluffy. Add vinegar to red clothing for 1st time wash--they will never bleed again. Add vinegar and water inside clothes iron to remove rust. My mother taught me these essential hacks. Also, there are no vinegar smells after washing.
I live in NYS jyst between Rochester and Syracuse and have been to 20 or more Dollar Tree stores and no way do they have any of the items that I see on this channel...
@@natipena2677 funny you say that I haven’t used news paper in years and that’s because we don’t subscribe to them any more. News is online internet etc now days lol!
Cleaning vinegar is more acidic, so better for cleaning, and some weed killing. Depending on where I'm using the cleaning vinegar I sometimes add scented or essential oil not just as a pleasant smell but to repel insects (mint is great for that).
A spray bottle of vinager and add 1 capful of your favorite fabric softner. Works great, leaves a great shine, helps repell dust and you can use on anything!
Those surefresh reusable seals seemed great at first but didn’t even last long enough to finish up my leftovers before it tore and wasn’t usable anymore!
@@ABonilla262 Fabric Softener is horrible for your machines, as it coats them. If you use fabric softener I would definitely wash your lint trap. Air can't flow very well when it is coated. I learned this at age seven when I had to do laurndry.
Thanks for sharing all the comparables and hacks from DT, Liz. I really appreciate this video. I'm liking some of the shared hacks in the comment section, also.
A lot of things that are sold at Dollar Tree are more expensive on Amazon because of resellers. When I worked at Dollar Tree there were people that would come in and clear the shelves and they would be scanning things with their phones.

I love your videos! This one for $Tree is great! I love mostly how you try name brands against $Tree items. Wonderful info!! ♥️
Cleaning vinegar and backing soda in your clothes when you wash is amazing. Not only does it get out stains but it also brightens your whites and helps your clothes detergent work harder and go further. So you don’t need as much.
I have the olay dupe from dollar tree. I have the entire line(facial cleanser, day cream, night cream and eye serum) I think they work well. I'd definitely recommend.
These hacks are all Great! Thank You for sharing these with Us, Liz. I hope that You had a wonderful Christmas and have a Fantastic New Year! ✝️🙏🏽❤️😊👍🏼🎅🏼🤶🏻👋🏼
My boys are older. I got all of their stocking stuffers at DT this year. And, not everything from the Christmas section. Their small cans and packages of food items are great for such a thing. Salsa, hot mustard, pringles, velveta cheese sauce, a single serve bottle of sparkling cider, etc. they loved all of the food items they got in single serve sizes. 😂. I never used to go to DT but these kinds of videos really opened my eyes to all the great finds. Our store is small and doesn’t have half of what I see online but I still find some good items. I just have to make going more of a routine before I go to Walmart or Aldi.
HACKS. I use the Olay dupe and it's fantastic! I'm almost 64 and my skin is so soft. The EOS dupe works great! The Vaseline dupe moisturizers but it's sticky.
You forgot to mention the fabric softener aroma booster beads thingys. The name brands like gain downy etc can be so expensive. $1.25 @ dollar tree and work wonderfully. Laundry stays smelling great for a long time. Oh i loves pulling a great smelling towel out of the cupboard after a refreshing shower.
I just watched a video by a professional nail tech and she said don't be fooled by nail polish that says gel on the bottle. It's not a true gel polish if the bottle is clear and you can see the polish. If you notice, the ones that you showed in this video said gel strong but those are definitely not actual gel polish. She said true gel polish has to be in containers that prevent light out UV light because gel polish hardens from uv light. Made so much sense but I've been duped by brands that put the word gel but they're just regular polish that they're trying to say is as long-lasting as real gel polish. Love your channel
I like you’re videos & informative tips but most of the scented products featured my family & I cannot use as we are highly sensitive/allergic to synthetic fragrances.
I only use vinegar to clean with for years. However, if you've been using chemical cleaning products, it may take a bit more effort the first couple of times - because you are removing build-up. After that, it is a wonderful cleaner. My glass looks great!
Hacks! I bought the coconut wipes and the toasted coconut hand soap! OMG! you found more Twist! I hope they come my way!!! The products are amazing! The cup holder tissues work well in a tote bag ,they don't crush easily! Dollar Tree also has a shoe cleaner pad that cleans sneakers. It works very well.
Mox cleaning vinegar and alcohol sdd a couple of drops of essential oil. You can use it to clean everything. Countertops, windows, mirrors, floors. I use it throughout my house. Replaced my other cleaners.
Love your videos and i always appreciate a good cleaning hack. Maybe you can spray your meat smashet - or whatever you call it - with cooking spray so meat won't stick. I like rosemary mint scent in summer and cinnamon clove around Christmas time
In a 32oz spray bottle add 4oz vinegar, 4oz ammonia, two drops dish soap and fill with water. I use it to clean everything plus it also a disinfectant.
@ I really don’t know, may become sticky or slimy but it really works. Saw this on a TV program about the Biltmore House about 30 years ago and have been using it ever since. Even when I drove a school bus I used it and never got sick and was complemented on how clean it was.
So w the cleaning vinegar. I add a whole bottle of Dawn dish soap from Dollar Tree and walla! All your fixtures and bath tub and shower look like new!!
The olive oil shampoo at Dollar Tree is so good. They typically only store it in the African American section but it doesn’t matter what your race is, it’s done wonders for my hair. When it comes to magic erasers I buy them on Temu. I got 10 of them for $2 and it’s the exact same as the Dollar Tree ones. Another great buy I bought a few days ago is a dupe to Hello Unicorn deodorant which retails for $7. Mine from B Pure was just $1.25
Thank you for sharing. I do go over there to the store and grab a few items when I see these. I do use the washing machine cleaner, and I bought some for all my children (grown children)
Vinegar is my go to. I purchased an 80% industrial strength vinegar and mix with water in different proporions, according to the job. It work great on pet stains. It nuterlizes any soap residue and breaks down stain enzymes. Removes soap scum, and kills weeds. Nothing is better at removing urine out of carpet, and neutralizing the odor.
I also mix in fakes and change my bags every day when I go out. I previously bought a WOC Caviar dupe on the kislux and I loved it, but I wasn't going to pay $3500 + tax for such a small bag/SLG.
I use 90% isopropyl alcohol with hot water and 5 drops of Dawn in a spray bottle. I tend to do a half and half mixture of alcohol to water. It works well on glass and counters while drying quickly leaving no smell or residue. 😊 Got that one from a professional cleaner.
I've been trying the revitalizing face cream and it's texture is really good and I've been using it the last month and I can't tell if it's doing anything compared to Olay. It does smell really nice too.

I use vinegar in all my clothing 🎉

white vinegar or regular vinegar? how much? and if I have a front loader with dispensers, when/where do I put it?
Just a Tip******* I have the Dollar Tree meat chopper. I spray it with a little cooking spray b4 using and my hamburger doesn’t stick.
That’s a great idea
I was going to comment the same thing.
Hacks, use coffee filters with your vinegar to clean glass and mirrors, the filters don't leave lint.
I am going to try
Newspaper also works f or drying with no streaks or dust. Have used for drying (vinegar/water) cleaned windows and mirrors
I live in the Deep South. I swear that my DT doesn’t have even 1/3 of the items that you typically mention. It’s so discouraging.
Same.

I agree! There are so many cool items in Liz’s videos. But, I think the inventory is all deposited “up north.”
I'm in Northern California and my town's DT has no where near any of these items. Our's is low stocked, dirty and sells a lot of junk.
I live in Western Washington State and our DT's don't have
I wish I had a hack for being able to find a DT Store that is half as well stocked as those in your videos!
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Brillo spray as a dupe for Dawn. It's works just as good if not better!

It seems strange to say this but newspapers we have had on hand most of my life are becoming a thing of the past.

I like using lime or grapefruit essential oils for my bottles. At Christmas time I use frankincense essential oil.
Not this one. It is only 2% acidic.

A spray bottle of vinager and add 1 capful of your favorite fabric softner. Works great, leaves a great shine, helps repell dust and you can use on anything!
Be careful and always read the manufacturers instructions most fabric softeners are flammable! Definitely dangerous!
Those surefresh reusable seals seemed great at first but didn’t even last long enough to finish up my leftovers before it tore and wasn’t usable anymore!
I put vinegar in the bleach dispenser of my washing machine for every single load I do. The vinegar removes any lingering odours.
Same! 😂 thank you! I thought I was the only one that did this!
How much vinegar? No fabric softener after? I will try this. Thank you!

When cleaning you don’t spray anything but the rag or sponge. Spraying the mirror allows the vinegar to go all over the top of the furniture.
Cleaning vinegar and backing soda in your clothes when you wash is amazing. Not only does it get out stains but it also brightens your whites and helps your clothes detergent work harder and go further. So you don’t need as much.

I’m still on the hunt for the toucans hand sanitizer dupe….here in Las Vegas our stores are always so bare. Great finds!
I use that vinegar cleaning all the time. When I dog sit for my friend, I clean her house with it. It works fabulously happy new year.
If the cleaning vinegar has more acidity people use to kill weeds often mixed with epson salts
