Why are some people in the comments saying he is getting paid? If true so what!! This man takes time out to walk around these stores and give out valuable information about what to put in your body. He has helped me lose like 20 pounds from eating right and staying away from ultra processed foods and I haven't done a single pushup. Show some class, don't be rude. If you don't like the videos don't watch them.
Good for you, but go do some pushups! Being skinny isn't healthy either. Yes it's better than being obese, but without some muscle mass you're still on the road to increasingly declining health outcomes.
He should absolutely be paid. After all, we are paying the salaries of the FDA and so many other supposedly regulating companies that are responsible for misleading us in the first place. I appreciate what he is providing. The stores he visits should be happy. He's not criticizing the store- but the product. If the manufacturer is mad- they should get mad enough to stop harming us. I hope he keeps going!!!!
Kirkland butter is from New Zealand, which has the best dairy practices in the world. Still wary of Italian EVOO and usually buy Californian. The Tunisian makes me curious... Kind of surprised you skipped right over that Bella Vitano Cabernet Sauvignon cheese. If you haven't tried it, you MUST! It's a tastegasm, truly! Thanks for the info! I'll be looking for your honorable mentions.
Watching these videos always makes me so sad that Canada doesn't have most of this stuff! We often have some of the packaged food, but we have no grass-fed butter option at Costco at all! Many of our items are different and more expensive. However, Costco's still the best bang for your buck regardless of your country
This is great information. I’m going to become a Costco member. Right now my daughter buys me what I need… the organic coffee and the organic frozen vegetables, both of which I love. I’m about to expand my Costco purchases. Thank you so much!!
Valuable info for your viewers especially if you're diabetic. Have gluten sensitivities, etc ...or have heart and immune deficiencies! Gotta show love for anyone who promotes actual well Ness and health to the masses who are sometimes unaware!
I'm very aware. Sick people relying on Bobby Parrish for diet advice, is like listening to an affable, lean custodian at the hospital when they were on the way to see a cardiologist. There's a number of dieticians who post here, who are better. Otherwise healthy people avoiding gluten (and the nutrients that used to be in the food) is a huge problem; the marketing people have created this fear about something that only affects a small part of the population. Just about anything has a "gluten free" label on it at the supermarket. Potato chips, tortilla chips, and sweet snacks, are never valuable for diabetics. Try telling my pancreas, intestines, and liver, that those are easier to deal with, just because they're "Bobby approved". The sugar they have to process is all organic now? They don't care. Butter and sausages can increase insulin resistance (but, I suppose, he would say, those things are safe in moderation). Highly cured meats had been classified as class 1 carcinogens. Lots of pro inflammatory foods were presented (and it's not the ones that contain "Highly processed seed oils"). Had he tried to claim that grass fed butter is healthier? There's still seven grams of saturated fat in one tablespoon. Other foods are better choices to get omega 3s, omega 6s, reduce saturated fats, and lower inflammation.
From California ( now in Colorado ). I have noticed that all the Costcos next to the ocean have a lot more of the healthier stuff. Hopefully they start adding a lot more stuff here in NoCo.
No question. We lived in So. Cal for many years an since have lived in several states that don’t have many of the healthy items that were all on our standing list.
Would love to see A2 grass fed yogurt, but they are all low fat. Want the highest fat possible, so continue to buy Fage 5% fat. Wish Costco would realize that many of us are finding out the benefits of high fat rather than low fat. Most of your recommendations are solid, so thanks for your videos!
they are carrying A2 whole milk organic yogurt at my costco in vegas. don't be afraid to write and leave a note to management at the box near the exit. they read them and bring in products based on what customers ask for!
If you have an instant pot, you can make yogurt at home so easily and ferment it for longer than what’s in the store. Just buy a two whole milk and ferment yogurt with even better probiotics like l reuteri!
Amazing you review new follower, amazing how u talk, compared the prices, count de sugar, ingredients 🎉❤amazing guy! The best for you and u job here in RUclips
Hi Bobby! First and foremost thanks for all the valuable information you provide to your viewers. I had a look through the comments and didn’t see any mention on sodium contents on reviewed products, which is ok. I was wondering if you would put your vast knowledge to work on doing a video on healthy low sodium foods to buy at Costco? So many people including myself are completely bewildered when it comes to being informed about the foods we eat, and the sodium contents, especially when it comes to prepackaged foods. Many people have to eat lower sodium because of health conditions, others realize what a burden to our health insidious amounts of sugar and salt are in our diets. I do hope you will be kind enough to at least consider it as I’m sure it would be appreciated by many. Cheers!
Great video Bobby. Thank you for the quick and straight to the point information. No gimmicks, no annoying background music, no weird editing or stylistic choices. You’ve shown the general public better, healthier options for food with really science backed reasoning. I like that you don’t use scare tactics like some other “influencers” do to terrify people into thinking they’re going to get cancer if they eat a certain food.
I can’t believe I just watched an entire video on shopping at Costco but this was so great I can’t get over it. Subscribed and liked and have my iPad out putting together a shopping list. This is exactly what I needed as I just joined Costco because of the expense of a heavy carnivore type diet. Only carnivore because it so hard to shop and eat healthy. You just showed me the way. Well done.
Almonds grown in California contain roundup herbicide. It's used for grass and weed control in the rows. Walnuts ,grapes ,and pistachios too. It's absorbed through the roots.
Heads up on the Kirkland Bari Olive Oil, it goes down like Turpentine. I've never had a more harsh tasting olive oil. The Seven Sundays Cocoa cereal takes some getting used to. You can pour the milk and wait 5 minutes for it to soften a bit, otherwise it's like rocks and the sweetener is pretty slim. Add some bananas and let it soften and it's much improved.
Thanks for sharing the Costco info.....it would be great if you listed the items in the description? And kept the Thrive items for your Thrive videos......
B/S - the extravirgin "Italian" olive oil has a label that says it's made with olives from Greece, Italy, and Tunisia. This means it needs to be heated to blend, therefore making it a NON extravirgin. B/S again on butter! European butter has cultured enzymes (i.e. is fermented and NOT pasteurized) resulting in a healthier product for your gut, higher fat content, and high d-butyrate content, it's not only the fat percentage that matter. Otherwise, thanks for the tips!
I think you've watched Nutrition Made Simple's video about fake olive oil (which had validated a claim that I had found silly at first). Without that, I might not have noticed Bobby contradicting his own advice! I agree with the fermented foods comment: all saturated fats aren't created equal. Bobby had talked about Greek yogurt and cheese in this video, and not fluid milk (which I agree with). But again, he seemed to have contradicted himself.
P.S. Recently bought Carbones Pasta Sauce at Costco. It is not organic, but the 8ngredients looked clean. But obviously don’t know the beak ground on those ingredients. Could you check and let us know. It is absolutely delicious. Tastes so fresh.
Thank you, thank you for all of your information on clean eating! I still do alot of cooking at home but have to watch those awful potato chips! Very interesting about Rao sauce and will look for Paesana sauce when I go grocery shopping either at Walmart or Schnucks. Don't know of a Cosco's here yet! Hope all is GREAT with you,Rosie, & Desi. My sister-in-law just bought a home in Ormond Beach,Florida so didn't decide to downsize! Have a wonderful evening,& thanks again!
thanks Bobby, I get tired walking and standing at costco, especially since i have agoraphobia. this makes it easier to run in and grab and go. (pay first of course).
Guys, WHENEVER it says “olive oil” in an ingredient list it is ALWAYS refined and processed like a seed oil! There is a night & day difference between olive oil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil! Do not be deceived.
Compared to avocado oil, seed oils typically undergo a more extensive processing procedure, often involving high heat, chemical solvents like hexane to extract the oil from the seeds, and further refinement steps like bleaching and deodorizing, while avocado oil is usually extracted through a more mechanical cold-press method, with minimal processing to preserve its nutritional qualities; essentially, seed oils are considered more highly processed than avocado oil. But the biggest issue is that seed oils are unstable and oxidize extremely easily. That oxidation causes inflammation (that can actually cascade through the cells in your gut). That's really why he always suggests steering clear of seed oils.
@@marktaylor9751 wait a minute would that mean black seed oil is bad? That's done wonders for me when I take it consistently, however it taste disgusting 😝
Refined olive oil is still better than refined seed oil. The deception here is your ignorance of hearing the difference to what Bobby always repeats. He's always says if you going to put in garbage into your body at least put less crappy garbage made from higher quality sources. Obviously, you have no distinction and not listening.
I was at Costco and they were giving samples of the “Cocoa Puffs” and she mentioned they were Bobby approved 😊 I've been a long time follower of yours so I knew what she was talking about.
Bobby, do us a favor. Can you please include a product list in the description when you do these videos? I was in Costco today trying to watch your video and shop at the same time and nearly ran into people! Not recommended. Lol. Thank you!
Can you do a video on multivitamins similar to the one you did 4 years ago. This time actually ranking them 1-5 or 1-10. Would be great to throw your multivitamin in the rankings.
Your videos are helpful because I frequent Costco, Aldi, and Walmart. However, I'm cautious of your info after checking one particular item during my Costco visit today. The Seven Sundays Raspberry Chip Granola was 9.59/lb or $11.99 for a 20oz bag. Way too pricey for me. You reviewed the Cocoa version, so I'll remain optimistic that the considerable price difference is due to the price of raspberries-- perhaps???
Kirkland Organic Peanut Butter - Is the ONLY one I can eat, that doesn't bother my stomach. And I found out why. It's not just organic (I've tried many organic brands.) I think it's because made from the cleanest and most mold resistant peanut - The Valencia variety.
That’s between you and your doctor. If you have borderline high cholesterol, lower saturated fat choices are generally better. If that’s not a problem for you I imagine the full fat versions are more filling and provide great energy conversion.
I am so happy I found you!! I'm on disability, stroke victim ,diabetic, heart condition, high b/p & cholesterol at 56 yrs old. I am going to figure my finances to start buying healthier. It's a shame the junk is cheaper then healthy
@suzettepadilla9538 thank you for the advice but I would fail miserably. I only eat boneless, skinless chicken & turkey breast & some seafood. I do appreciate your comment though.
I agree with European butter vs American butter quality. I am a baker and when I tried using American butter for my pie crusts, it turned mushy/soggy. The moment I changed to New zealand/Iris butter, they are so buttery and flaky.
I love that new Zealand butter so much I cannot use anything else. I use for everything but holendaze sauce and shortbread are so up a notch with worth any price but a deal worth the membership all alone.
Bobby, I haven't commented much, but I really want to say how much you help me choose wisely when I shop. Thanks for the information and explanations you give us so we save time, sometimes money, and we can check ingredient lists ourselves because you taught us how. Thanks for what you do.
I noticed him standing in front of the open door also. Letting all that cold air out is not being very nice. If someone from Costco notices, Bobby may be the cause of people getting banned from making videos at Costco. It only takes one person to ruin it for all the others who are more considerate in their video-making. Also, put the products back the way you found them.... a couple times you just dropped/tossed them back without placing them like they were when you picked them up. It's rude.
My question about pesticides, doesn't the pesticide get watered and runs off into the soils and gets drank up by the plants? So even like a banana or almond would have pesticide inside the plant? Tell me if that's not how it works? 🤔
Bobby, I started to like your channel far better now than before. You are not doing the comparison between the good, the bad, and the ugly in a lengthy consuming time anymore. You are right to the point, ready to get right to the point making my shopping list much easier and faster. Please keep up the great work and definitely I will share your channel with more friends. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
First time I’ve viewed Bobby’s site but unsure if he’s discussing Costco in the United States or Canada as the product lines and of course prices can vary significantly between the two countries. Thanks for your feedback
Products vary at each Costco. Products carried depend on the buying habits of the area. Some items are at all Costcos, some items are tailored to the area.
Can you speak to the fact that cassava contains cyanide? There is no safe amount of cyanide for humans to consume. How is this prepared (and how do you know these fun facts?) that you trust it is safe? I want it to be true that it's safe! Thank you!
Hey bobby.. I am a big fan of you. Is costco selling the avacado oil good quality because I scanned it from your app and it is bobby approved but here you didn’t mention it. I think the brand name is ottivia. Please reply
Sauerkraut with olive oil, black pepper and sweet paprika. Mix together after straining the brine out of sauerkraut. Delicious !!! Brine is also very good to drink like that or put 2-3 tbsp in a bowl of soup, especially a dry bean soup.
Solid video, & good to know I was in the right track overall already. Good to hear about the single source Olive Oils. Nice to hear about the good butter options & cheeses. The next section you could video at Costco could be the nut section.
Great video Bobby! Most of it we are already using . Thank you for feedback on tuna. Definitely will buy. As for coconut rolls, we don't have to eat all 9 of them. maybe 3 will be enough, and sugar content will be much less. I think
OMG, Bobby, I have to join Costco just to be able to buy the Yellow Fin Tuna, the Niacin is cardiovascular gold and add pomegranate for desert and it is a total cardio grand slam.
I actually went to Costco‘s to get that cereal seven Sundays where I live in the 831 area in Central California and they don’t have it anywhere so I would have to go to Whole Foods and it’s not as much cereal for the price.. I love cereal and it being made so much better. It just makes me want that much more and they don’t have itbut I’ll get it.
I live in the Midwest St. Louis area in Missouri, and sadly our prices are more expensive than what is listed in this video. Also, they discontinued the raw organic sauerkraut. I have written in the suggestion box to bring it back but they continue to not restock it. They don’t even have a different option.
I vowed to make my Costco membership worth the money this year. I always found the store to be overwhelming. Thank you for making this @joeyswoll approved video! The way you navigate around the store, giving info while kindly ushering people through the aisles is informative and heartwarming. P.S. Love Landman!!!
Tried Chosen brand mayonnaise at three different times, from three different stores, and all were returned because right out of the bottle each time, the product had a rancid taste. Wonder what gives?
I respectful have to disagree in regard nuts (don't need to be organic) I think there is a tremendous difference between organic and non, the flavor is sweeter and fresh testing and also lighter in color at list with walnuts.
You want everything you can possibly eat to be organic. If you're accustomed to tastes that are better to you than organic, it's because the food is being processed with other non-organic, or foreign matter. Read the definition of organic below. 1. relating to or derived from living matter. I.e, "organic soils" Similar: 2. (of food or farming methods) produced or involving production without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial agents. "organic farming."
I would also go for New Zealand butter but it has salt, and where I’m from we are not used to salted butter. So unfortunately it’s a no. Why if there’s only one option of butter available it’s always salted? Same thing at Aldi. You can add salt to any butter, but you can’t remove it. It’s just such a struggle here in US
I am a black Italian born in Italy and a Tunisian father. Have you tested these olive oils. I have a suggestion if you want to know if they are pure. You could test them. We Italians love olive oil maybe because I say this as an Italian we are not considered white, hence we get our dark olive skin from olives. 😂
Why in the heck do you watch if you don’t like or trust..watch something else. I like to watch and use his app. Bobby saves me a lot of time..and I trust, very informative..
No, they weren't bought out by anyone, according to Google. They're still family owned. They did recently partner with a regional grocery store to carry their brand.
@ yes, thank you i remember now. We get bombarded with all the food recalls and trying to purchases. It’s hard to keep them straight. I do believe now I heard it was boars head that China bought and then soon after that they had all the stereo recall or something. Thanks again. Have a good day.
I picked up the almond butter and finished the entire jar in like a week it was so good. On the lookout for macadamia nut butter if Costco ever sells it.
I have second hand anxiety watching Bobby open the freezer / fridge door and just stand there talking 😅 he’s also the reason I grab my food from way in the back.
And here I thought I was the only one! 😂 I also wonder about items that are returned to the freezer/fridge after who knows how long! Surely they’re dropping them in front.
@@BobRooney290, when the package says it is what it is, it had better be! If an inspection uncovers different ingredients than what is noted there are heavy fines involved, not to mention what bad press does to sales. The product can also be reverse engineered.

I'm on disability, stroke victim ,diabetic, heart condition, high b/p & cholesterol at 56 yrs old.
I am going to figure my finances to start buying healthier. It's a shame the junk is cheaper then healthy
Try carnivore diet. Listen to Ben Kerry. Shaun Baker, Antonio Chaffee, Mikhaela Peterson.
Use lard, it's far better than any butter.
@ unfortunately we cant use lard or pork products
Picked up the Tunisian EVOO yesterday. Almost 2-for-1!
I love that new Zealand butter so much I cannot use anything else. I use for everything but holendaze sauce and shortbread are so up a notch with worth any price but a deal worth the membership all alone.
When touting an item can you make sure they are available in ALL warehouses… the Paisano sauce is not available in the west
Bobby, I haven't commented much, but I really want to say how much you help me choose wisely when I shop. Thanks for the information and explanations you give us so we save time, sometimes money, and we can check ingredient lists ourselves because you taught us how. Thanks for what you do.

Can you close the fridge’s door when you introduce the cheese products?
I noticed him standing in front of the open door also. Letting all that cold air out is not being very nice. If someone from Costco notices, Bobby may be the cause of people getting banned from making videos at Costco. It only takes one person to ruin it for all the others who are more considerate in their video-making. Also, put the products back the way you found them.... a couple times you just dropped/tossed them back without placing them like they were when you picked them up. It's rude.
Love this video! Only thing I would say about prepared foods is be careful of the sodium content. Might be worth highlighting!
My question about pesticides, doesn't the pesticide get watered and runs off into the soils and gets drank up by the plants? So even like a banana or almond would have pesticide inside the plant? Tell me if that's not how it works? 🤔
Can you please talk about the taste of the chosen mayo too. I got one from Costco and it tasted very sour
Well said
😂 u need to PRAY 4 patience 🙏 he's helping u
Thank you for let us know right products, it's useful information.
Paesana tomato sauce is amazing! ❤
Thanks for showing the label on the Teton Sausage. I had no idea they are from Loveland, CO. That’s where I live!
Yes- but are those chips fried in the “real” avocado oil.. or “fake” avocado oil?
Thank you for the video I’m in Canada 🇨🇦 and I never saw those product except for the oils and the yogourt
I’m also from Canada, Ottawa and never saw those butters or this chips! Why we didn’t have those products?
Let us know if you see them next time you're there. I'm wondering if they were just overlooked.
@@nouzhaidrissi7592would love to get some Kerrygold butter but I’ve read that it’s not allowed in because our dairy industry is protected.
Sauerkraut goes very well with sprinkled paprika on top as a salad with any meal especially during winter time.
Thank-you for all your great information.
Love the Kirkland GF Butter, tastes amazing I can eat it by itself.
I placed my EVOO I purchased in a SANSONE stainless steel container from Italy. You’ll love it… 👍🏼
Can you speak to the fact that cassava contains cyanide? There is no safe amount of cyanide for humans to consume. How is this prepared (and how do you know these fun facts?) that you trust it is safe? I want it to be true that it's safe! Thank you!
I didn't know that! I love coconut rolls :(
Caribbean and African people have been eating cassava forever! After peeling and removing the core waxy stick, you boil it and it’s fine.
Thanks!
Hey bobby.. I am a big fan of you. Is costco selling the avacado oil good quality because I scanned it from your app and it is bobby approved but here you didn’t mention it. I think the brand name is ottivia. Please reply
Thanks! I learned a lot, and I am happy that some of the products I bought were good ones you agreed to.
I love your videos! You are teaching me so much!! Thank you Bobby!!
Great video Bobby!
Most of it we are already using .
Thank you for feedback on tuna.
Definitely will buy.
As for coconut rolls, we don't have to eat all 9 of them. maybe 3 will be enough, and sugar content will be much less.
I think
This was awesome! Thank you. Just a quick question ...is tapioca fiber ok? What exactly is it?
Thanks for the info. I like to smart shop so this is in addition to my own research.
OMG, Bobby, I have to join Costco just to be able to buy the Yellow Fin Tuna, the Niacin is cardiovascular gold and add pomegranate for desert and it is a total cardio grand slam.
Tell me about dessert. Mmm
Almonds are heavily sprayed and should be organic.
to be organic not sprayed.
Those coconut rolls aren’t available online or at the warehouse nearest to me unfortunately
Google tracks slow n busy times for places. Check it out. I don't like crowds and will go when it's not busy. 🫶
Go on weekdays-an hr before closing. Empty.
Tried Chosen brand mayonnaise at three different times, from three different stores, and all were returned because right out of the bottle each time, the product had a rancid taste. Wonder what gives?
That’s my favorite one ❤
I don't know what it is but nearly every type of avocado mayo I have tried has tasted rancid, and one batch I got on sale was Rancid Rancid 🤢
Make your own
Bought mine today , tasted perfectly fine!😊
I respectful have to disagree in regard nuts (don't need to be organic) I think there is a tremendous difference between organic and non, the flavor is sweeter and fresh testing and also lighter in color at list with walnuts.
You want everything you can possibly eat to be organic. If you're accustomed to tastes that are better to you than organic, it's because the food is being processed with other non-organic, or foreign matter. Read the definition of organic below.
1. relating to or derived from living matter. I.e, "organic soils"
Similar:
It’s just such a struggle here in US
I use only single source cold pressed Greek evoo.
Watch to get suggestions. Comment to spread awareness to others. Don’t be so sensitive ❤.
@ Haha! Okay, maybe your right 😊
@ CORRECT👍I HAVE NOT.
Try his app it’s terrific 👋
Costco's in Canada - don't have nearly the options seen here. Very unfortunate
My Costco in Laguna Niguel does not have many of those items you mentioned!
Almond butter is roasted. Is that okay in your opinion ?
Bobby, I am so thankful that you exist!
Yes he saves me time on grocery shopping....
Wasn’t dietz and watson purchased by china? They’ve had a recent recall. I’m Leary of that brand.
Good to know. Thank you!
No, they weren't bought out by anyone, according to Google. They're still family owned. They did recently partner with a regional grocery store to carry their brand.
Boars Head had a listeria outbreak. Thinking of that?
@ yes, thank you i remember now. We get bombarded with all the food recalls and trying to purchases. It’s hard to keep them straight. I do believe now I heard it was boars head that China bought and then soon after that they had all the stereo recall or something. Thanks again. Have a good day.
@@donscottmacdonaldI am scared of buying Boars Head now, because of the recall…
I picked up the almond butter and finished the entire jar in like a week it was so good. On the lookout for macadamia nut butter if Costco ever sells it.
Land Man is a great show. Thank you for all the great tips!
Bobby, have you ever done Krogers they have a lot of organic and what Meijers
3:45 My wife and I used to grab the Kirkland Butter until we realized it has natural flavors added. Kerry Gold is our goto now.
Source??
LOVE . LOVE THE ZOOM IN. I SCREENSHOT AND MAKE MY SHOPING LIST. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Bobby what do you think about black rice?
We don’t have those things in the Manteca Costco. Hope they will put it in the shelves
Bobby, Can you do a review of products from Azure Standard. Its an online shopping store.
I have second hand anxiety watching Bobby open the freezer / fridge door and just stand there talking 😅 he’s also the reason I grab my food from way in the back.
And here I thought I was the only one! 😂 I also wonder about items that are returned to the freezer/fridge after who knows how long! Surely they’re dropping them in front.
i have first hand anxiety believing that all those products are organic just because someone put a sticker that said it was.
@@BobRooney290 that’s exactly what my mom used to say… how do we really know?
I don’t understand why would you feel anxious?..
@@BobRooney290, when the package says it is what it is, it had better be! If an inspection uncovers different ingredients than what is noted there are heavy fines involved, not to mention what bad press does to sales. The product can also be reverse engineered.
The video editing and transitions here deserve a shoutout! Great info as always :)
I don’t care what they say about you Bobby Approved, you alright with me. I learned a lot over the past 5 years watching you on RUclips. Thanks big bro
