Hi Liz, great video and tips and tricks. For candles… I burn my candles. My home is for me and my family, it is lived in and use all my things. In certain situations not burning candles might be applicable, for instance staging a home. But even then, I have lit my candles 😊
I used to burn candles, however, when I had a professional come clean my air ducts, he showed me the vents - they had wax and dirt built up on them and he said it was in the air ducts also. so I stopped burning any candles and switched to a warmer.
My favorite hack for the use of the Lysol containers is to store extra salt in. I bleach them out and air dry open for a couple of days. When I buy extra Morton salt (or any brand) I take and put about a half inch of rice into the bottom of the Lysol container, sit the container of salt into the rice and then add a little rice around the sides. Store in my pantry. As I use the salt, I leave the rice inside the container for the next extra salt I buy.. I usually buy 4 at a time.. I always love your hacks.. Many thanks.
To get your labels off your glasses or plates or anything like that you can use 70-91% alcohol to spray on there or put it on there and it will come off too. It’s also good if you’ve been in the hospital and you need to get that adhesive off for any kind of Band-Aid, heart monitor tabs or Tape alcohol is good to get that sticky residue off your body.
Yay I’m finally a first comment! You’re amazing Liz! And I so appreciate your lighthearted vids, creative ideas, and entertainment! You’re amazing, charismatic, and talented! Love your channel 🩵 Angelica from Miami Beach
I'm 31 years old. $18,700 weekly, and I'm retired. This video has inspired me greatly in many ways that I remember my past of how I struggled with many things in life to be where I am today!!!!
@@mi2boiz when I worked at Home Depot we were not allowed to spray Goo Gone & they gave us the Pure Citrus &/or Febreeze to use. We had to change the price tags on items REGULARLY & it worked so great, I never went back to Goo Gone even at home.
For the sauce, one is pricier but it’s bigger. So it would be a better comparison to show the price per ounce. I’m sure it is cheaper in the long run but just to really show the difference.
I use acetone go clean of the tip of the E 6000 . Just like you would use go take of your fing nail polish. I used a toothpaste so Alex with it to clean the cap out. I do not have a problem anymore.
You should not burn candles because their scents are not good for us. Lots of us are allergic to anything scented. So excited to find fragrance free Dawn..
So creative, so budget friendly, especially in this economy! Thank you, Liz!! Now we can all laugh hysterically at Meghan Markle making pretentious rich people sponge cake in her mansion! FYI, there is a GREAT Dollar Tree hack for that huge Stanley mug... I think it's about $5. It works great.
Rubbing alcohol removes that tacky leftover from price stickers and doesn't leave the greasy residue. Of course you still wash it but are less likely to drop it if you get any on the sides vs goo be gone
So many good tips! I buy candles to burn them. To me, the Stanley-type ice cube rounds are overrated. I bought one and find that it’s not worth the fight to get them out of the silicone. I enjoy your channel!
I have designated candles that I will burn. However my decorative tapers I just light them just to color the wick and blow them out right away. I prefer the “burned” look to the brand new white wick.
Rubbing alcohol works on sticky surfaces and greasy surfaces. A rubbing alcohol pad works great or pour a little on a paper towel and wipe. Must try! (If you get a greasy film on any of your glassware or nick knacks from it sitting over time,, this is a must have)!!
Liz, if you put a piece of duct tape on the bottom of the mug, then place it in the water like you did for some reason I have much better luck with it not breaking when you hit it with a nail to make the hole. I use the same idea when I want to put in a drainage hole on other things that I want to use as a planter. Never had success with glass though.
Candles: If I weren’t going to burn my candles, I wouldn’t need to buy candles, since that’s their purpose. That said, I have a candle warmer at work, since I can’t really burn candles in my office. This allows me to melt the candle and enjoy the scent without burning the candle down.
Same. I burn them at home and I put them on a warmer at work. People say they aren’t good for us but people have been burning candles for ages so I’m going to keep on doing it. That’s what they are for and agree if I wasn’t going to actually use them I wouldn’t buy them.
I bought a 4 or 6 pack of tea spoons. They had a tape around the bundle of spoons. I couldn’t for the life of me get that tape off. I tried everything I soaked them I did everything. I just took them back. But what is up with that tape.

Some really great ideas!! I’m always saving containers to organize but never knew how to make them look upgraded!
Love your content! Great videos, just a note though, the karate chop pillows are so over! But I love the fuller pillow idea...

Great home hacks, Liz! I have to try the dupe chicken dipping sauce. Hope you have a great week. 🙂
The Walmart double of the Raising Cane sauce is delicious taste just like the original 😁 We use it all the time at my house.
50 Home hacks it makes a good video
Yea I burn my candles or I put them under a candle warmer. I really prefer burning them myself.
I love the lunch boxes.
Dollar tree has acrylic wine bottle holders that work well for organizing water bottles for a steal in saving money ❤

Pure Citrus Orange Air Freshener or Febreeze will also remove sticky residue and not smell like Goo Gone.
Tfs
Haven't thought of using these two hacks. I will try this next time. I've always used Goo Gone.
@@mi2boiz when I worked at Home Depot we were not allowed to spray Goo Gone & they gave us the Pure Citrus &/or Febreeze to use. We had to change the price tags on items REGULARLY & it worked so great, I never went back to Goo Gone even at home.

Great ideas. Sharpies should be stored cap down
Hello Liz, where did you purchase the black backpack that is insulated? I always enjoy watching your videos. Take care, your friend in Indiana.
I use acetone go clean of the tip of the E 6000 . Just like you would use go take of your fing nail polish. I used a toothpaste so Alex with it to clean the cap out. I do not have a problem anymore.
For removing labels, if you don’t have goo gone, use mayonnaise!
I like the button idea❤❤❤
You should not burn candles because their scents are not good for us. Lots of us are allergic to anything scented. So excited to find fragrance free Dawn..
I put my scented candles on a warmer or under a candle lamp. They seem to last forever.
Chicken dipping sauce is 2$ at general dollar store
Definitely the water bottle separater.

I'm not understanding how those pillows fit into the smaller cases??
How can you get E6000 off your skin? I'm always getting it on my fingers, which then stick together.
👍
❤❤
Yes burn candles it makes you home look live in and cozy. New candles look new and boring.
I just light them and blow them out.
Thanks for all the good hacks!
I burn my candles that aren't tall ones. I love to smell them and once all burned I make new ones

Oil mixed with baking soda left 10 minutes removes glue easy.misedmised
I absolutly say burn candles.

Should call it storage ideas
Really? Because a pillow doesn’t “crease”, it’s not good? Oh geeze!!!
I have designated candles that I will burn. However my decorative tapers I just light them just to color the wick and blow them out right away. I prefer the “burned” look to the brand new white wick.
Liz, it is bad luck to have candles in your house that have not been used
Love your id😮eas greetings from PIKEVILLE KENTUCKY 💫 watch all new videos and old too
I have cats so I don’t burn candles indoors.
I use my blender.
.don't want anymore stuff around!

I use that also😊
Why is everything a "hack"? It's NOT! Putting a pillow into a case is NOT A HACK
Not cups, they are glasses.

My house has to be both practical and pretty!
High end? Big deal!!!
No I would never waste money on having two beverages in one cup. Stupidest thing I've seen in a long time!

I hate packaging!!! 😂
I use Goo Gone. It works great to get the residue off!

Use a blow dryer on high heat
If you put cooking oil on any label….let it sit overnight or several hours….it will peel right off…no gooo😂🫠
Really? Because a pillow doesn’t “crease”, it’s not good? Oh geeze!!!
