All we had was nature and good, good food that Daddy grew and Mama’s ideas of decorating with what was available. They’re all gone now and so is the farm, but happy, wonderful memories. Tracy, I think the name of the pine that has those lovely elongated pine cones is a “loblolly”pine. Such a beautiful tree!!! I have a leylandi tree in my back border near our golf course in DeBary, FL, (near Orlando) but we call them Leyland cypress trees. I use it at Christmas also to bring indoors for decor. I love using it - it’s such a vibrant green and so “lacy.” I adore your style.
How fortunate to have those growing in your garden, they really are so versatile to decorate with🌲The big pine with the cigar like cones I have been told is called an Oriental but I love your name’Loblolly’!! Either way it’s a beautiful interesting tree!🌲♥️

I thought at first Bertie was not going to forgive you, but he cannot stay mad at you too long. He knows he is very loved. 🥰 No one believes me when I say I am doing Tracy Christmas decor. Growing up in Europe but having lived in Australia for over 30 yrs i still miss this feeling i used to get at Christmas time. Sadly i live in the northern part of Australia so i don’t use many natural branches as most carry spiders and ants and other insects. We use a lot of faux but it’s just not the same. While watching you decorate i live my best life just imagining the aroma of all the fresh stems. I have always loved your porch. Once again all the bits of nature are perfection out there. Love the antique sleds and the green shelves are gorgeous along with the basket of pinecones. The copper piece with the greenery is another beautiful piece. It’s a magical place at night with all the lights on. This is a favorite video of yours for sure. Love and blessings ❤️💚❤️
