The ev6 is so sexy, i hope more people dont find out about this car until i get my hands on one at an affordable price. I feel like this car is gonna be a winner by 2024

Got the EV6 over Model 3 because of:
Trunk space
Better charging tech
more features for $$$ (GT-Line 2 in Canada)
V2L gives us backup power for home.
Pluses for the M3 - Range, Constant upgrades and enhancements, and Geek Factor
With Tesla hopefully opening up superchargers in Canada, that will just be icing on the cake....

I literally watched every video, and read every review of every EV on the market before I bought out EV6. Best car I have ever owned. Simply a blast to drive and cheap to own. Your videos were part of what pushed us in that direction. If it weren't for the need for a vehicle that is reliable in sub-zero temps, and the charging infrastructure issues, we would ditch our Acura RDX for another EV. Cannot see ever buying an ICE again. Thanks for your honest and insightful videos.

Not sure how you were able to get your EV6.((and at sticker or below))
Dealers in our region say they do NOT have any in stock and every unit coming in is spoken for with a deposit or full order. Just heard from a Canadian dealer website that KIA is not even taking orders for the EV6 and that there is up to a 2 year wait. In the US the dealers I've talked to say 6 months to a year.
Also the dealers are listing the EV6 and other EVs for $5k to $10k over the MSRP if you can even find a stray, unaccounted for EV6.
All this being said, I continued to check regional KIA dealer websites and BAM, a white EV6 GT-LINE AWD showed up ... "unexpectedly" at a dealer near me. They couldn't believe it so I immediately drove to the dealer, made my deal and while I was negotiating, there were 3 other couples waiting in line, in case the deal did not go through.
Have had the car since August 10th, 2022 and I am STILL finding settings in the various menus to customize the car the way I like.
It's an amazing hunk of technology and I really enjoy the features, roominess, ride, handling and performance.
I thank God for this gift since, for weeks I was told there were not going to be any EV6's available for months to come and this one suddenly showed up, dealer didn't know it was coming, had no buyer lined up but did have a list of folks who wanted to be called if one came ... and the rest is history.

Love my EV6 (also Wind AWD with tech), however with Kia no longer qualifying for the $7500 federal credit, and the Tesla will in 2023, I think it changes the value conversation a bit unless Kia can bring the prices of the upper trims down a bit
We bought ours in May, so we got the federal tax credit. That really sucks that it is no longer available.
@@michaeldevitt7506 Yep now only US final assembly and in January battery restrictions kick in. The list of qualifying vehicles just got really short. I hope Kia does some price adjustment to make up for it.
I bet you miss your EV6, Shannon. Well… maybe the Rivian will lessen your nostalgia for it. I'd prefer the Ioniq 5 more, but simply because I like side-by-side cupholders. With time, as the DCFC networks expand and improve, and when Tesla opens up Superchargers to other EVs (like in Europe), the EV6 and Ioniq 5 will truly give Tesla a run for the money. Literally!
Model Y LR is 85K and Ev6 gt-line 2 is 65K, Tesla do not worth 20K more to be honest.
Is that European or Canadian pricing?

Genesis EVs are a lot more fancy in the Hyundai family.
Most trims are above $60k though.
Kia has been outdoing anything remotely in its class, for a good while now. That old KIA stigma needs to die already, they have fantastic vehicles.
