Knott's Berry Farm B&M Hyper Coaster | Nolimits 2 Prediction

- NOTE: This ride should only be taken as a prediction, the drawing the ride is based on is very likely not final.
Based on a leaked overhead drawing of the ride from the same source that leaked the Giga drawings, this is a 200 foot tall hyper coaster starting near Ghost Rider and crossing underneath Beach Boulevard to a picnic area near Soak City. The ride would be 3,480 feet long and reach a maximum speed of 73 mph.

I kind of hate how this would make the front entrance so cluttered... one thing I liked about the old giga was that it gave the new attraction some space away from everything else. Also, RIP to that corner of the park on a Haunt night. Ghost Rider, four mazes, AND a brand new hyper???
I think a full 540 degree helix at the turnaround would be fitting
I hope Knott’s does get a roller coasters like this
Its getting one just like this, the blueprints were leaked
@@EntityCS_ Its not for sure
As thier northward neighbor SFMM says, "Go Big or Go Home". If they are truly going to go across the parking lot they have potential to make something a bit taller and longer than this. And to handle the crowds coming in for a big coaster, they need to expand the park with a new area.
This I think was why the giga never happened - the residential areas. Expanding towards Western Ave. adds an issue with noise, and people already had complained about Pony Express being added. It's been rumored CF had this as the original plans, but wanted a giga. They presented the giga to the city, but it was declined, so this is the compromise.
I honestly would like this. If anyone could add a B&M hyper to the west coast, it's Knott's. A good floater machine is something California is truly lacking, and no Goliath is NOT a good substitute.
I love the compact layout.
The track absolutely needs to be boysenberry purple.
it most likely wont be though. the ride will be in ghost town so it will have a western theme. And purple will most likely not match that theme
@@thecoastergnome8603 Yeah that’s possible. I’m just hoping it gets built.
@@thecoastergnome8603 Why? They put boysenberry colored banners, bunting and decor all over Ghost Town during Boysenberry Festival and it looks just fine!!!
@@gregg5958 but If the theme of the ride is western, that color wont fit with the theme. plus some banners are one thing put a massive purple coaster would honestly not look good in that area of the park.
@@thecoastergnome8603 I totally disagree. Looking at the video above it would look fantastic. Also, a coaster that is basically the gateway to the park definitely should be boysenberry color.
Using your theming criteria, then a coaster outside the front gate could NEVER be boysenberry color as any station for it would be logically in Ghost Town. So basically you are saying that a coaster could only be that color if it was in the boardwalk? I just don’t agree.
First off, excellent video. Very well made.
But Knotts doesn’t need a coaster like this. They need a show stopper. The giga made sense for that reason. The GP isn’t gonna be able to differentiate between this and a taller, and faster hyper at SFMM
And this is where issues with noise come into play. Most likely Knott's presented the giga concept to the city but it was declined. While ETR made a great video on how it could be avoided, it might've only solved the issue muffling the B&M roar. Most likely residents were worried about screaming riders, so the city rejected the idea.
I came here from william_coasters, great job! This looks great!
Even though it’s not a Giga, Knotts could use a high capacity, reliable ride like this. Would be a good addition to their lineup (as well as for California in general).
Needs to be longer. Should do way more across the street. Even if they need a launch to do it. It’s not a bad idea, it just needs more.
Great concept! Also what’s the song lol
How did you import Google Earth terrain?
How did you overlay the coaster onto google earth?
Make it a wing coaster instead. If 300 ft is out of the question I dont think this version is worth the money and effort. But a knotts version of gate keeper would be neat
Nah. We're starved of airtime machines. Adding another looping coaster isn't a very good fit, but it might be a cool gimmick. Plus, 2 hours North there's already a wing coaster, just with rotating seats.
@@hellacia8151 x2 is a terrifying experience. Gatekeeper is not.
oh hell no. mid-tier hyper is fine but keep the entrance the hell away from ghost town
It looks bad but weirdly I think it could work. Could take away crowds from the ghostrider line, and get it into the new high capacity B&M.
give me a M give me an E give me a H
this is a very diffrent layout to the leaked Gigga blueprints
its a new leak

yes
I have not seen this layout anywhere and can not find it when looking it up.

Isn't this going to be a Gigga not a hyper?
New plans got leaked
@@thecoastercredit8000 where though wand when I cant find them any where
Gonna be real, if this is what they have planned instead of that Giga honestly, just axe the idea entirely. The new leaked layout looks like a real snooze fest. They need to find another manufacturer to handle this because I don't see a ride like this drawing anyone out to Knotts especially when there B&M Hypers and Giga's already liter the country.
How many B&M hypers are in California? The answer is ZERO so that's one. I don't think anyone is in favor of the hyper over the Giga, it's possible the Giga just isn't in the cards. Remember Knotts is a mid tier cedar fair park. They're not gonna give them something crazy like the axis coaster. But I do think they should look at Mack or vekoma and see what they have
@@Lloyd00 knotts is a top tier earner for them, not mid tier at all.
@@cliffordjeffrey8775 it may be a top earner but that's got a lot to do with being open year round. It's not a top 5 cedar fair park. It is #6 so it's either the bottom of the top tier or top of the mid tier
@@Lloyd00 your mixing up opinions with objective facts. Its a top earner. They will invest heavily into top earners. Your opinion on its rank is massively irrelevant in the context we are talking about.
@@cliffordjeffrey8775 my rank is based on their biggest parks which get the most attention. Just because Knotts is a top earner doesn't make it a top park. Knotts would not be a top earner if it wasn't open year round. That's what you are failing to understand. The 5 parks I have ahead of it would all make more money if they were open all year and they all are heavily invested in by cedar fair
looks mid. yawn. great work tho
First, thank you for the video. You did an excellent job and I really enjoyed it. However, this video is as close to this ride I ever want to get. I'll take the horrible Goliath up the 5 over this.
Meh.
Nice coaster but the music loop drove me insane, and no, I don't want to watch coaster POV's in complete silence.. I want the coaster sound. I have no idea why you would ruin your creation like this.
