    Note: The POV will be released later. We are still rendering frames for the final video presentation. Everything you see was modeled and rendered in Blender Cycles using ray tracing.
    Let us know what you think of this new style video. This project took over 87 hours.

    Absolutely beautiful, I loved how you fit it in perfectly with the land and I think it would work out great, it’s far away from the neighborhoods and assuming they sand it it will be quite. Fits it perfectly where it doesn’t have to remove anything. Doesn’t interfere with ghost town, and probably the best entrance to a them park. Really hope that Knott’s does something like this

    It’s beautiful. Why does it hurt so much that we will probably never get anything close to this at Knotts

    If Knott’s ever got a ride like that and remodeled the park entrance to look anywhere near that, then it would be my favorite Theme Park in Southern California!!!

    Thought knots had a height limit?

    • @tahjo7
      @tahjo7 Год назад +8

      The only height permit/limit thats known from past permits and projects is Xcelerator, which was built on the old permit of the coaster that it replaced, Wind Jammer Surf Racers.
      It had a height permit of 210ft tall, Xcelerator is 205ft tall.
      I'm guessing the logic is that xcelerator is about 550ft away from the closest homes, and Supreme scream which is 315ft tall, is roughly 1100ft from the closest homes in the area, and it was approved to be built.
      If you apply that same logic of height vs space, the lift hill of this concept ride is roughly 1200 ft away from the closest homes behind the motel on crescent Ave, and it faces east away from homes, and it's turnaround is under 200ft tall and is just under 600ft away from nearby homes, similar to xcelerator at the opposite corner of the park.

    This Coaster would be a great fit for Knotts! The layout, theming, and the ride name is all perfect. Also the entrance redesign, this would all be a great investment for Knotts. I would love to see this happen. I hope someone at knotts is looking at this video. I wonder what the stats would be for this ride. Good job on this video... well designed and done.

    I want to start off by saying that NOBODY wants this to happen more than I do, but I live in reality. It NEVER WILL! I talked with the GM of Knott's Berry Farm once; he told me that even fit in a B&M Hyper like Diamondback at Kings Island, they would have to remove Ghost Town entirely. It will NEVER happen; the park does NOT have room for it! The best we can EVER hope for is if Seaworld builds a mini B&M Hyper which is very doubtful at best!

      Thanks for your response! Theme park Predictions will be making an in-depth analysis of all of the details of this project. We put a lot of thought into the architectural design as well as the engineering. Stay tuned!

    Cool concept! Upon looking at this very closely I see some supports/sections in places where there is parking spots currently and/or being placed around TGIF area.. not saying it's impossible to place those there, just that it would be difficult and ambitious to make happen. The biggest issue I see is about half of the layout falls in the backstage area which on first thought, I didn't think was a good idea at all (seeing all the backstage for a majority of the coaster) but after thinking about it a little more, I could see it happening if they built a tunnel around the coaster for those potions and added some cool effects.. I think building in the current place of the Scramber/Surfside Gliders and going above/around Beary Tales, Knott Theater, Bumper Cars, and maybe even across to the overflow parking across the street might be more feasible... idk lol

      We apologize for the delay. We have more frames being rendered as the days go on. It is nearing completion. This project will be finished. Next time we will use Unreal Engine 5 to speed up the process and remove any denoiser artifacts. Atrocicoaster will be the next megaproject. This project is experimental so we will only improve from here on out.

    Good work with the 3Ds and shots, but for the love of god up the samples and actually take your time with the renders in blender, the grain and noise makes this very bad... which is a shame as it could look really great

      @crv_stormtrooper4167 They have another top thrill dragster animation to make or smth? If blender is going to be used, it should he used properly. Otherwise it ends up looking way worse than NL2 while taking way longer. And seeing as apparently time is a issue, they should stick to NL2 :)

      Hello Lance! Nice to see you here. Thanks for your feedback! I completely agree with you which is why we are moving to Unreal Engine for future mega projects like Atrocicoaster. We have tried everything from changing the noise threshold to raising the samples to 500. We are not sure why this is happening. We rendered this on an RTX 3080 TI. We are still rendering some clips so if you have any suggestions feel free to let us know.

    • @lancehutch
      @lancehutch Год назад

      @@Escape_Designs Good idea! that or Unity would be a better choice, Blender is great but for renders on this size and scale, I don't think it's the best option (also from my own attempts, it's hard to make it look as real as NL2 funnily enough). If you are planning to carry on with blender tho, I could only really recommend using the denoise tool in the render settings or switching to Eevee instead honestly. Once again great work with the 3Ds tho, just a shame I can't appreciate them all with all the noise :D
