Hello great video I really like the way you explained everything. I have a question however I setup everything but when I turn on my Xbox the game volume is really high and I tried adjusting the slider for my channel 2 console but I dosen't do anything to lower the volume. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I was wondering if you know how to solve this problem I'd really appreciate it thank you !
Hey! This video is so awesome! Thank you for making it easy to follow! I do have a question tho, I can’t get my sampler effects to be heard in my stream, my routing table has it checked but it’s not going through! Any suggestions?!
Glad you liked it! So the first thing I would do is exit the GO XLR app and load it back up. When my computer goes to sleep and wakes back up, the only thing that doesn't work on my GOXLR is the sampler. Also, go to the mixer tab in the app and check that the volume of the sampler is turned up. Also with the routing table, make sure your sampler is set to go to your broadcast stream mix and chat mic (if you want your chat to hear them as well.) Hope that one of those helps! If you solve the problem please let me know, I'm interest to see what it is.

So here’s an issue I’m having. I want to hear PC system sounds and ps4 systems sounds at the same time. Now I was able to achieve this by doing optical cable from base station opt in to ps4 opt out. If you run from you A50 opt out to you Optical in on the GoXLR, it will put all your PS4 sounds to the GoXLR. And you will be able to control then through the "console" channel on your GoXLR.

How do I hook it up on my Xbox series x if I don't stream or have a streaming pc? I have a laptop astro a50s and Xbox series x but how do I do it if I don't stream
Use a capture card, capture card software, and streaming software that allows you to record as well. Elgato HD60 is one of the best capture cards and Streamlabs OBS is a good streaming software that also records. The capture card will set you back a couple hundred just like the XLR. Now if you don't make videos then you should be able to just use your laptop only so you won't need any streaming or recording software. But a laptop or PC will most likely be required idk yet.
You don't have to stream to be able to use the sound board. The only things required are a headset, an Xbox, PC/laptop, the XLR and XLR app, and the Xbox Chat bar app on PC.
Good video. Unfortunately, I’m using a PS4. Connected my line out of the GoXLR to a usb-soundcard to route my mic into the console. My Turtle Beach Basestation has a optical passthrough, which I connected to the optical input of the GoXLR. Everything seems to work, but I can’t hear the mates in the party chat. I’ve also tried to plug the GoXLR directly into the console, but it gave me the same result. Do you or anyone else out there, have any suggestions what I can do or what I’ve done wrong!? Haven’t seen any helping video explaining my issue, yet.
So I am not super familiar with PS4, but it sounds like the issue is the way your party chat is routed. In your audio settings on your PS4 you should have an option to change your output device. If your Goxlr is getting your audio through the optical cable, then make sure that is set to the output. This should overlap your party audio and game going into you GoXLR. The downside is that the chat will then be stuck together and cannot be separated into different faders. Let me know if this works and if not I'll see what other problems it could be
@@2guys1controller32 Hey there. Sorry, that it took me so long to answer. I've used a terrible workaround with some 3,5 to 1,8mm headphone cables for a few month. Hey man, great video but I do have a question for you. I stream from my Xbox, but 2/3 guys I play with regularly are Playstation players. Not using game chat isn't an option for me when I play with them, so what options do I have if I'm wanting to use a GoXLR to route all of my audio? If you can't do either of those let me know and ill type up a novel here lol. and Thanks for the kind words about the video, hope it was helpful to you!
On ps4 So I don’t stream but I just wanna use the goxlr to use the faders so I can edit the sounds because sometimes the game chat is to quite, and would the voice change work in party chat/game chat? Plus I have the HyperX quad cast if I’m using the microphone plug for my mic where would I plug in my Corsair HS60s?
I need to look into that headset to see how to make it work, when I get back from work today I'll check it out and comment back with what I find out for you.
So just looked at your headset and it looks like it uses a 3.5 mm jack. So there are one of 2 options. First, I would try plugging it directly into the headphone port on your GOXLR and see if that works. It may it more may, but it is worth a try since it costs nothing. If it doesn't work, or you end up with buzzing or quality issues, you will need to buy a splitter like this taos-na-prod.amazon.com/redirect/asin?jwt=eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9.eyJleHAiOjE2MTA0OTUxOTIsIm9wYXF1ZV91c2VyX2lkIjoiVTExMDkzNTk2NiIsInVzZXJfaWQiOiIxMTA5MzU5NjYiLCJmaXJzdF9wYXJ0eV91c2VyX2lkIjoiMTEwOTM1OTY2IiwiY2hhbm5lbF9pZCI6IjExMDkzNTk2NiIsInJvbGUiOiJicm9hZGNhc3RlciIsImlzX3VubGlua2VkIjpmYWxzZSwicHVic3ViX3Blcm1zIjp7Imxpc3RlbiI6WyJicm9hZGNhc3QiLCJ3aGlzcGVyLVUxMTA5MzU5NjYiLCJnbG9iYWwiXSwic2VuZCI6WyJicm9hZGNhc3QiLCJ3aGlzcGVyLSoiXX19.l34Y7Y5DOcmb_71aEZFURi6ee5LR5tX4ZcaaApde86I&asin=B084V3TRTV&ref_=ta_bs_pm Plug your headset into that and then only plug the headphone (green) portion into the Headphone port on your GOXLR. The mic line will not be used since you are already using a Hyper X QuadCast. I know the Quadcast has a port on it for headphones, but if you use that you wont be able to separate your audio from your GOXLR properly
As for if the voice changer will work with party/gamechat. It will only work if you are using party chat through your PC, by using PS4 Remote play app, discord, or a similar app. I am experimenting to see if I can find a way to get it to work with my xbox game chat, and if I do I will let you know.
2Guys1Controller one more stupid question if my headset is plugged into the goxlr and so is my mic but I’m using party chat on my pc how would I hear the game audio since my headset and goxlr is plugged into my head 😂 they made it way to difficult. Someone should really make a voice change that can just plug straight into a usb like on the front of the ps4/Xbox.
@@FuzPlays not a stupid question at all, audio can be a nightmare when your gaming and streaming, especially from a console. You'll hear your game audio through your GOXLR. Your console should be plugged into your GOXLR through the optical audio cable. You just have to make sure that it is set up that way in your routing table.
Good vid but what if I don’t have a PC? I didn’t watch the whole vid. As of rn I’m kind of buzzed and I don’t know what the big words mean….optical cable and all that. I’d love to see you actually do a stream or a video with steps. I’ll send you $30 for some help after I but it anyone can DM me or whatever. You’ll get the money after I figure everything out
The first thing I would try is clear your routing table going to the headphone port and see if it goes away. Then add things one by one and see if you can isolate what source is doing it. Also, if you have a different aux cable to use try that. Of neither of those work let me know and I'll see if I can think of anything else
That's your biggest problem with PS/XBOX Streaming. The only way to do it is a work around, by using chat on your PC with the PS4 Remote plat app. You can join parties with others on console through that. Then you would set that PS4 Remote play to output through your chat channel. You would hear them through your headset (which would be connected to your PC), and they would hear you through whatever microphone you have hooked up to your GOXLR. It isn't as simple as just using chat organically, but it separate the channels so you can adjust them independently. Also, great channel name lol
So there are a few things it could be. I think this is an issue with your setting on your PlayStation. If it is similar to Xbox, you should have a way to set it so that chat doesn't come through your speakers. This means your optical cable, which should be carrying you game audio to your GOXLR, will only carry the game audio and not chat. Check your settings on your PS4 to see if there is a way to configure it that way. Second, in the PS4 remote app that your using on your PC, make sure it is configured in a way that doesn't put game audio at all, or at least not to the GOXLR. I'm not familiar at all with this app, but if your game audio is coming through the app overlapped with your chat, there must be a way in there settings to just mute the game audio. Which you wont need to have anyway since you'll already have it through your Optical cable. Sorry its tough to troubleshoot without all the exact details. Hopefully that fixes it, if not let me know and I'll rack my brain some more for some solutions
@@2guys1controller32 There's another issue I've been having recently with this setup on xbox. They recently updated the xbox app on pc and ever since that happened, I can't mute myself to the xbox party with the button on the goxlr anymore. Have you heard of this problem?
You’ll get the money after I figure everything out
Long story short can you DM me for some straight up stuff. My money if good
Hey brother, hope your sobered up by now lol. Pop by the stream sometime and I'll gladly help you out, no need for cash bro
When i plug im my aux to the A50 i hear this terrible screeching noise, is there anyway to fix this?
What is the other end of the aux plugged into?
@@2guys1controller32 the headphone port of the goxlr
The first thing I would try is clear your routing table going to the headphone port and see if it goes away. Then add things one by one and see if you can isolate what source is doing it. Also, if you have a different aux cable to use try that. Of neither of those work let me know and I'll see if I can think of anything else
How do u do it on ps4?
With things being set up this way with ps4, how do you separate the game volume from the party chat?
That's your biggest problem with PS/XBOX Streaming. The only way to do it is a work around, by using chat on your PC with the PS4 Remote plat app. You can join parties with others on console through that. Then you would set that PS4 Remote play to output through your chat channel. You would hear them through your headset (which would be connected to your PC), and they would hear you through whatever microphone you have hooked up to your GOXLR. It isn't as simple as just using chat organically, but it separate the channels so you can adjust them independently. Also, great channel name lol
I just did all that and there's still one problem. The console volume is coming through the chat too when I set it that way. Any ideas?
Do you know how I could fix it possibly?
@@section8jedi868 I would check what input you have set in the Xbox app. Probably changed on it's own. You want it to be set to chat mic
Does Anyone Know How to Join Party Chats For Playstation On PC?
