Excellent information from Dr. Frank Jackson. I came to similar conclusions in my journey which began in 1980. After medical treatment, I suffered for 20 more years with periodic flareups. I'm happy to tell you I've been symptom free since 2001. Answers for you, I believe, are out there. I wish all of you well!

Hello, does your product Prebiotin Regularity contain gluten? One of its ingredients is wheat bran powder, is that safe for someone with gluten intolerance?

Sorry Prof. Your approach is completely wrong! Acidifying the large intestines (if correct) means 5-ASA tablets will no longer work, worsening the inflammation. Most of these tablets are enteric coated, means their coat ONLY opens in an alkali environment which is found normally in the large intestines.

A health care friend who works with Chinese medicine has told me that the large intestine is naturally acidic. The small intestine is naturally alkaline.

    Dr Jackson,
I've have ulcerative colitis since 2004. I've only had one very minor flare up since originally being diagnosed. I watched your video this afternoon and went out and bought Prebiotic powder. I didn't get prebiotin, I got another brand. It's Organic Inulin. It says, "(company name here) Organic Inulin is a fructooligosaccharide that acts as a prebiotic, stimulating the growth of friendly and healthy intestinal bacteria.." The ingredients listed are, Organic Inulin (FOS). That's it.
This differs from your product because yours is Oligofructose enriched Inulin, I guess. What's the difference? I want to buy your product but I'd like to use this one up first. Should I get yors right away and get rid of this? Thanks.
