You did a great job of adapting the Clapton version. Now I have to work on adapting your version! First step is to convince my wife that I need a resonator . . .
Thanks Gabriel. You should definitely buy a resonator. Every guitar player should have one. And besides, how are you supposed to learn to play "Walking Blues" properly without one? (Thus justifying the need...)
@MrSouthpaw55 thank you for stopping by and for commenting. I really love my MM Lightning and I think it punches well above its weight. It plays well and sounds even better :) I get loads of compliments on it at gigs.
Thanks, I appreciate it. I love playing this song and the singing kinda comes as an after thought so it's nice to have some positive feedback on the vocals!
I've got my action set up quite high and use Michael's Newtone Strings .016-.059 so the action is quite heavy. That's mainly to make fretting behind the bar a bit easier for me.
chargerdoc I started with open D when I first got into alternative tunings. A lot of the chord voicings from open D can be used in open G. Just move them one string down and play from the 5th string as that becomes the root.
Just wanted to say that I'm humbled by all the positive comments! I really appreciate each and every one!
Nice. I like it, the singing and the playing. Oh, and nice resonator too. Jam On Dude.
I honestly don't know how I've managed to live without one! Thanks for the kind words.
Very nice .... I bought one a couple of years ago ... absolutely love it
Thanks for sharing! I love it!

I love you...really.
What is the action like, especially at the first five frets?
I've got my action set up quite high and use Michael's Newtone Strings .016-.059 so the action is quite heavy. That's mainly to make fretting behind the bar a bit easier for me.

Thanks Cuan! I'll just stick to Open D for a while now, I'm just starting with alternative tunings... :)
