- With over thirty five years experience of playing, collecting & reviewing resonator guitars, I have been working with a small guitar workshop to create what I believe are the most authentic & playable 1930s style resonator guitars at affordable and realistic prices.
The body dimensions, neck profile, headstock, spun aluminium cone & set-up will give the player the classic tone, volume & feel of a 1930s metal-bodied resonator guitar. I believe these are the only budget priced resonator guitars available that can boast these features.

don't they just sound good. some of the best music on this planet. as a guitar player i have always wanted to try one. think i will before i go back home.
Now this is real music. I played a 1932 National and it sounded just like this one. The guy would not sell it to me for any price and I loved it. I gotta get me one of these.
My pleasure! Thanks for your very kind words about your MM Lightning. Best wishes....Michael
Thanks for the reply, i'll give this style a try. I couldn't be happier with my Lighting, thanks for making them!
These are some great guitars i have 5 of them.......
i really recommend them i
Just awesome!
good sound !
Excellent, thanks Al.
I agree about the mic, but sometimes I find myself in situations when playing on stage or in a room with other musicians, it can get bit feedbacky, so a plug into an amp can be a solution. I was thinking of something like a nice quality lipstick pup might be quite sweet.
Cheers
Gary

Hello 4192362, It is based on Mississippi Fred McDowell's open D tuning style of playing. Shine On, Michael
Great sound! Could you please help a newbie and identify, with video timestamp, which guitar model is playing? Trying to identify which model that I like the best.
Well its a matter of taste what works for you etc. but i have pickups in two of my resos that work well not piezo style but mounted on the body i avoid at all times using the pickups unless i have to,i use at all time a shure sm 57 as its natural
hope this is of interest
al
interested in buying one of your resonators. dont have money for a dobro or national
What is the song beginning at 0.41?
Nice guitars.. what song is this? Are the tabs avaliable?
Hi, I'm watching one on ebay.
What would be the best way to make it electro acoustic? I was thinking either a lipstick pickup mounted by the neck or a piezo under the bridge? Have you adapted any of yours to electro?
Cheers Gary
ps: If you click on my youtube name, I have a few vids of a lovely old Harmony guitar I saved from the tip and converted to a laptop slide with a brass nut riser and fitted with a single coil in the soundhole. See what you think?
