The stitches of the Dura at the start of the video is so scary.

I had my fusion a month ago. My grabber has been the best thing I’ve purchased. You really should be careful with those lunges.

Thank you for your video. My dura was nicked, too, but I am on my third day of laying flat as the headache is still there. Getting better, though.

That was great info. Thank you for making the video. I’ve watched about 40 videos and everybody has a couple tips here and there but you answered pretty much every question I had. The only question I would have would be will it be OK to walk upstairs to go to bed and then go downstairs to go to the bathroom because the bathroom downstairs has a really tall toilet. Most of the things you are doing I’ve been doing for a while anyways because my back has hurt for a year and a half so It shouldn’t be to much different. I’m having the surgery January 4 and I’m kind of stuck because I am closing my business and moving out of state so I only have 6 to 8 weeks to be out of my business and have it all packed so I hope I will be able to do that within about two or three weeks. Also, I will have to be driving across country at about two months after the surgery. I will be following you to see how much you can do in a week or two. Thanks again for the video.

Nice video, I am PT and having a diskectomy L3 in the next month. I live alone and having a friend spend a couple of nights to ensure the first 48 hours goes as planned. I have never had so much joy while watching your video, buying a 3 in 1 commode. 42 dollars! Again, great video. Take stoole softener the day before surgery and continue till you get off of pain meds.

      How did surgery go?

@@angiegray3128 7 weeks post op. Surgery went well, still healing in the back as far as feeling a knot and then tights up with activity. Shin still numb. Not sure how much you want to know, but thank you for asking. Left quads are still not responding at this time. So not sure how to make a living yet with one leg. Worried I guess. But I am not in pain in the back as it was prior to surgery.

Thank You for this....I will be getting my microdiscectomy done in a few weeks (Aug.16.23) on my L5-S1 (right-side). And was looking for tips / tricks to do to prepare for recovery. I'm going to start the arms & legs exercises that you suggested. As well as start practicing getting in and out of bed. Again, I appreciate this info. Continue to be blessed.🙌🏾😊✌🏾

      How is your recovery going?

@@jennifermoore8178 >>> Peace Jennifer, I can honestly say that I'm doing well 🙌🏾. My 7wk post-op following was last Thursday (from today). And I will start PT soon, to strengthen my right ankle....(unable to tip-toe walk...So, I'm going to work on that in PT). I'm still experiencing some numbness in the outer side of my right foot...(But, that is still expected....from what my Dr. told 6months to a 1yr.). My scar healed up beautiful...no pain. And I'm able to walk for longer distance now. It's a process to progress for sure. Have a good one.
(Sn: I vlogged about on my channel "Some People Call Me Cri" I'm late right now on updating 😏 About to do so now.😊✌🏾)

Thank you for the tips! I wish I watch you before my surgery, but I’m glad I’m doing most of the things you recommended without even knowing, I guess was creative with getting around and I was right. It was nice to confirm though. I hope you had a full recovery 👍
