God your voice is so relaxing!!! Your speed speech is perfect, my English is not very good, but I can understand everything because I have the time to translate in my mind, and I don't need to go every time back to video and hear it again!! I believe you are the greatest smartwatch reviewer. With statistics and scientific analysis. If you can compare more data from smartwatch (for example jump rope, is accurate how many jumps you have done, or your weight lift, how many sets you have done, is accurate? For swimming and bicycle you have done etc) that will be dominate for the other reviewers!!! And GPS accuracy, because I believe lots of us we run outside. How accurate is about distance, step counter etc. That will be excellent to! Thank you very very much!
Have you ever thought about testing the Huawei Band 6 pro? they do more marketing on the temperature sensor, as well as the more advanced sleep monitoring that even measures sleep apnea.
Incredible reviews. Would have been so sick and helpful if you had put all the watches on a page and ranked them in all the categories and totals or made a vid a year where you show off the best watches
Do you plan on testing the SPO2 sensors on most or some these devices in the future? For me, I'd actually consider it a big (if not the biggest) part of sleep tracking for apnea events, though I understand that there won't much interesting values to see for healthy users...
Hi! Yes, this is the plan, but testing this is more difficult. I have some ideas, but I would still struggle to artificially/intentionally reduce my SpO2 levels. Have a great day!
Hello, you should also compare the watches to the most accurate watch there is. To see how much worse it is compared to the most accurate watch, then people can decide if the extra money is worth it 🙂
Great work! I have been binge-watching all your fitness trackers in-depth reviews. This one costs about the same with GT2e here in my country. Can you do a comparison video in terms of accuracy in sleep and heart rate monitoring?
It would be interesting if you add a comparison with a oximeter device either the eeg device or other, to smart watches oximeter. As the oxygen level also would be beneficial for sleep stages and people who have sleep apnea granted it only would apply to smart watches with these oximeter with continuous or partial reading during the night
Wonderful channel! First of all, thanks for your videos. I really appreciate them. Could I ask you to suggest me a sleep tracker (about 100/150 €)? Generally they're not so accurated (at least compared with a scientific EEG device), I see. Is it worth to buy one? Thanks again.
I've been looking for a channel like yours for over 5 years! Thanks for the top quality content! Have you done/are planning to do any tests on ballistocardiographic trackers like the Beddit/QS Emfit/Withings Sleep Analyzer?
I have tested my Huawei Watch Fit, when the Huawei True Sleep Mode is DEactivated. To me the result looks way better, but showing only difference between deep sleep, light sleep and awake. So it will not tell the REM, but beside of that, the result looks way better to me. Maybe you want to try it in comparison with your sleep equipment and let us know, what you think about...
Hello! Really enjoy all your videos! I purchased the Inspire 2 thanks to you!!! Just had a quick question in the fitbit dashboard settings for my device, I notice that my fitbit is toggled to have sleep sensitivity to normal, was wondering whether you had it on normal or did you select sensitive when performing the studies that you did for your of your inspire 2 video.
@The Quantified Scientist any idea whether a Strava app is being developed for Harmony OS? The GT3 and Watch Fit New are HarmonyOS based, as will be all Huawei wearables (and phones) going forward. I can't get a straight answer out of Strava ... but it would seem mad not to develop one for a market of hundreds of millions of devices (many old phones will 'upgrade' to HarmonyOS).
I'm a little disappointed that there was no bad joke about the confusion matrix ;-) On a more serious note, I own a Fitbit Charge 3 and a Huawei Watch Fit, and while tracking exercises, I realized that the Fitbit overestimates the amount of calories burnt sometimes by up-to X2.5 compared to the Watchfit! In the past, when I only used the Fitbit to track my calories expenses, I was confused as to why I wasn't losing weight, but since switching to the Watch Fit, I was able to adjust my level of activities for weight loss.
Thanks for sharing this test! I'm not used to wearing smart watches but as a bad sleeper I was looking for a good sleep tracking device and the video really helped me.
depends on what youre going to do. if you want a watch that tracks sleep stages then get fitbit. but realistically most people dont care for tracking sleep stages, i dont see the logic in that, so you would want a watch that track heart rate, or spo2, those seem more reasonable. regarding heart rate it also depends on what youre doing, if youre doing alot of extreme exercises like weight lifting then no watch is perfect, but apple watch is good. but for simple workout like running walking etc most watches do well.
Which smart watch would you recommend between the Huawei Band 6, Huawei Watch Fit and Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite? Love your videos btw, liked and subscribed!
Amazing way of comparison with data... Thanks a lot for your efforts... Is it possible to share your opinion on Coros pace 2 heart monitoring and sleep tracking capability?
Great video. Sleep tracking and awake vs sleep time is very important to me, so it sounds like my Charge 3 is an excellent device for that. I believe that the additional feature that the charge 4 has that my 3 does not is the built in gps the which isn’t useful to me. Do you believe the Charge 3 is as effective for sleep tracking as the Charge 4? Thanks again
Need Samsung Fit 2 review Because it is cheap and I want to know its correct number or not Because the purchase decision depends on you because of your professionalism
Interesting. I had a huawei band 2 prior to my new watch fit mini and at the time it was one of only a few trackers that included REM. Since I have Narcolepsy tracking sleep-onset-REM and my body's favourite REM-deep sleep-REM is pretty important to me. I compared electrodes to the band 2 results twice and it was pretty close for me (my doc was impressed). Idk why it seemed to have better results for me even though it was true sleep 1.0. I don't have something one could call a sleep cycle anyways (too much REM switching), so that's not something I'm looking for ^^ I'll compare results with my watch fit mini when I have my next appointment. Btw, I'm pretty jealous of the eec, last time I had like 9 electrodes all over my face.
Your vids are super informative and awesome! I currently have a Garmin Vivosmart 4 tracker, and now am wondering how this device would perform under your testing lol. Think you might get to that device in the future? Thanks!
I recently bought this watch but I'm having the same problem as my previous smartband, it doesn't detect the awake times. I wake several times during the night and usually I keep turning around in bed until I fall asleep again, I even pressed the button to turn on the screen as suggested in huawei website to tell the watch I'm awake but still it doesn't detect. Also even when I'm still awake on the phone laying in bed it detects as I'm already sleeping. I have Trusleep on. Very upset with this.
I like your video's especially because you actually come with good data...But a minor thing, and I think you said it before: you say you go to bed after 1 p.m. That is in the afternoon... I think you ment 1 a.m. which is in the night (morning).... not a big deal... just letting you know.
I bought a Huawei watch this month and I have noticed it assumes I'm asleep when I'm in bed reading or sth. It counts way more sleep time than I actually slept. :( I feel a bit wronged...
Hello Thanks you for your scientific test. By far, the best objectif channel Thank you I have to ask you something, could you test the amazfit gts 2 mini? It seems to be very accurate, and i wanted to know how it's accurate in front of others product you tested. I wish you a good day

Great review, I hope you're still planning on testing the huawei watch gt2e, it's a great value for money.

Haha, yes, I try to be better now 😊🙈
I would love to see a test for samsung galaxy watch active 2 or samsung galaxy watch 3!

How do you get RAW data? I know Huawei don't allow any API/Exports.
In the privacy center of Huawei Cloud (id7.cloud.huawei.com/CAS/portal/login.html) you can export your data
