Brotha my dad used to tell me that life is a series of growth, pain, success and challenges. All in 20 seconds of bursts. Movement and change is what keeps us going forward in life. All this you will overcome! Long time follower, dude, and I will always stick with you...... and Greg. Always enjoy your adventures! SEEK what makes you happy in life and ride it hard and long.
Lots going on in life these days. Honestly, sometimes it feels like I'm attempting to live 3 people's lives at the same time. But... onwards and upwards!
Brendan, it seems to be you're not only a lovely guy but someone that has succeeded and not failed. You've achieved so much and you're doing a brilliant job. Just take a moment and see what you've achieved. It's pretty amazing.
As a long time follower I had noticed the change in you videos. While part of me wanted to reach out and see if everything was okay I also recognized that it is totally your choice to share how much or how little in your videos. Wishing you all the best and hopefully the best days are right ahead.
I wholeheartedly agree 😊 Brendan has been an inspiration to me and my photography, I opened two businesses around photography. I've always said that he owns the road and that there is no end to his growth 😊
I'd say you've built a pretty solid community here and it's a pleasure to be a part of it. You've built something that is inspiring and when times were tough you stuck with it. We watched every video during the pandemic and there was the great 2021 Dolomites trip, even with its quirky mid-pandemic issues. Keep it up man!!!
The breakdown of any relationship is tough no matter what the cause, but the fact that you’ve come out of that dark period in your life can be taken as a huge POSITIVE. You’ve clearly analysed where you’ve been, where the challenges lay, and now where you want to go in life going forwards. All strength to you Brendan, you’re an inspiration to so many, so keep hanging in there. We all support you 👊
A hint of the old Brendan is back. So sorry that you’ve suffered over the last 4 years and that you and Jodie have gone your separate ways. You both inspired us to visit Canada in 2019 - we followed the itinerary that you took Jodie on her first visit to Alberta. It was wonderful. You are ace at travel photography. Already excited about seeing your next coffee shop develop.
I’ve been following you for years. I meet you and Jodi in Lagos the week you opened the bubble tea shop. I would have never known you were separated. Coming out of the pandemic you’re not a lone feeling depressed. I’ve been fighting my way out of some type of depression also. Keep doing what you’re doing. I’ll be looking forward to what ever type of videos you put out.
I have to go working now, so I can’t watch the whole video now, but today later I will. My friend, I am passing through a deep patch of depression, scarcity and lack of creativity. Lost all my photo gear and haven’t take photos for a while, which make me happy and full of joy. I’m not young like you, I’m 54 but I also use to take photographers with me to explore and do workshops, specially whales and Milky Way. Today I felt sad at morning thinking how to be myself again and just looked for your last video and this one appears. I fell so happy because what you just shared, and I don’t know how yet, but the inspiration you gave me today, will push me up again. Thank you very much for being a great guy, an awesome photographer (one of my top photographers in life) and such a real world person. Hope one day I can share a shooting with you and meet. Have a great life Master !
I’ll always tune in! Glad you’re getting back on your feet, life’s tough but things get better! Stay positive man and looking forward to following along. 😎
I'm happy for you, you seemed to be excited about the new place in Funchal and the future. So take care, good luck and I'm happy to jump on the next adventure - wherever you decide to take us with these videos.
Brendon I watched you for a very long time now. Your positive attitude and travel adventures helped me enjoy a crap time in my life with bad health. Thomas was another so to see you work together was a bonus. So From me to you - Thanks for whatever you do . Always remember we your viewers hopefully give you as much as you give us.All success going forward in whatever you do.
Sorry to hear about you and Jody, lucky your still good friends. Sometimes things happen for a reason. I hope both of you will find love, somewhere else in the future. It's great to see your passion for coffee, i'm sure this will give you the newborn energy you missed the last few years. It's a shame I was on Madeira only one week before the opening of the coffee studio, loved to pay you a visit over there!! I'm looking forward to your upcoming videos. Always enjoy your content, great mix of travel and photography!!!
I'm sorry to hear that things weren't going that well behind-the-scenes in the past few years which I'll admit that it hit me as well especially 3 years ago. I'm also sorry to hear about you and Jodie! I'm glad that both of you are still friends and running the coffee shops together. I'm also glad to hear that you are feeling much better now. I feel that looking deep down into oneself is a great way to heal yourself, and I feel you have done that recently and have come out stronger. I'm really excited to see this new style of vlogging too. It reminds me of the old days of your uploads where you would tell the story of your day or week, take some photos, and have fun. I'm looking forward to seeing your next chapter - it is going to be awesome!
I have been following you for years and just wanted to say thank you for the inspiration and helping me lift my photography game and strive on improving and getting out in the wilderness more often and exploring our amazing planet!! Thank you Sir!! And gutted to hear about you and Jodie separating! Wishing you all the best mate hopefully some day I'll be able to join one of your photography workshops in the future!!
You ,young man, are not a failure you’re an amazing man and I enjoy your vlogs I’m 63 and recovering from a severe Stroke for 2 years now , was married for 35 years have two amazing son and 3 grandchildren, finally came out at age 56 🌈✌️never take life for granted , you don’t know what the next moment will bring 💕Ciao ❤
Thanks for sharing more with us when you felt comfortable to do so. You don't owe anything to strangers on the internet, but following your journey has been an inspiration for many. It was especially a delight to see Monkey again! Excited about the coffee location in Madeira - when I visited in the spring it seemed like there was a huge void for real fresh-roasted coffee.
From an old twitter homie, glad to hear you’re making some positive changes. The pandemic changed so much for so many. You’ve shown tremendous resilience, and as much as an internet stranger can be proud of someone, I’m proud of you man.
So glad to have you back 😊 We always follow your travel photography and you’ve given us so much inspiration over the years 🙏🏻 just subscribed to the Coffee Shop channel and was the 1000th subscriber 🙊
Since a couple of years I following your channel and you are one of my favorite photographers who inspires me most. Good to hear you are back on track and much more we share our love for the Madeira island which I will visit in March 2024. I was thrilled to hear that you are opening a café in Funchal. When is the opening? I hope we can have a coffee with you in March and maybe you'll be there too. That would be the crowning glory of our photography trip! Keep on and best wishes Peter
Good to see you back in the groove Brendon, sorry to hear things did not work out as planned, but well done on keeping a friendship connection with Jodie. Keep doing what you enjoy and look after yourself.
No worries Brendan, never gave up on you and your amazing skills! I remember all the videos when it was 2020 and how depressed you were because you couldn't get out there and do your thing. Then when things started to get better I saw the passion for what you love to do the most, shine through. Happy to hear about your new adventures in the coffee business. Sad about you and Jodi but happy that you still have a working relationship and share your little critters together. As always, I'm very excited about your future videos from my favorite pro photographer!
Haven’t been following you long enough to realise what you have gone through Brendan, only took up photography after COVID. One thing is for sure, you’re a fighter m8 and hard work is paying off. Good that you and Jodie can still be in a relationship and friends, I wish you both all the best going forward. Keep fighting Brendan, you’re a man of many talents and if I need a plasterer I know who to tap up 😉 just don’t ask me for any photography tips in return, it would put you back ten years 😂 x
Have to say, very sorry to hear this. I’m catching up on several channels. Living in Japan from US and been incredibly busy. I believe you were in Tokyo recently? Life’s f’n tough! I lost my first wife of 25 years. The absence (relational routine) and not being able to change final results hurts tremendously. But… tough people overcome tough times. Life gets better. Shit happens for a reason! The older I get the more I see it. Be prepared, know yourself! Know your limitations and enjoy life! Best wishes! BTW, you and Greg were the first photographers I started following on RUclips 5 years ago. Your passion for photography shows and motivated me to enjoy photography again! Safe travels!
Wow! What an update video. It would be great to see you and Jodie back together in a relationship, you were such a lovely couple. Great to see the coffee business going well and with a new shop, I would love to visit a Coffee Studio and sample your coffee, maybe one day. You are still bang on with your photography such great images recently.
Sorry to hear you had a rough patch but so good to see you Brendan! Looking forward to anything you post. Coffee, bunnies, photography or how to rock flip flops in December I'm here for it. Oh and if you are ever in PHX again, Mike and I have a guest room now 😎You might have a couple of cats walking over your face at night but you are always welcome 🤣Peace my friend.
You have always been one of my favorite photographers and I have missed that personal touch you always added. That said, even the 'fighting for his life' guy that we have been watching has been great. I'm amazed that things were so bad and you still could do videos. I love everything you do because of your passion. Whatever the future holds, your viewers will be with you.
I love photography/travel vlogs that include personal stuff so thank you for your honesty. The purely educational ones can get pretty boring! I believe things happen for a reason and keeping busy is the best approach - you have that down! We will continue to follow your adventures for sure!
Hi Brendan, good that you are back and my heart goes out to you for the hardships you have endured. Your adoring viewers will stick with you. Just make the videos on this photography based channel about you going on photo missions and the challenges you face. I don't watch you for coffee production.
Brandon, thank you for the update, glad you're on the upswing - I'm excited for the things you do even though I found you because of photography - I've followed you for years because of Photography along with Greg Snell - you guys were quiet the DUO - always rooting for you!! What coffee roasting machine is it that you use??
Just because you fail at something in life doesn't make you a failure as a person Brendan. I look at what you shared in this video and think crap this guy has some serious cahones and courage. Mistakes are OK as long as you learn from them. Keep your head up and keep pushing forward man!
... when we watch someone's videos on RUclips on a regular basis, a totally random person from the different part of the world can also feel like a family, an elder brother who inspires to become more through his photographic passion and his nomadic way of living. I first remember watching your videos of Scotland way back in 2018 and then subscribing you then and there, from that moment to hitting the subscriber bell to watching each and every videos. For someone who has known you via your videos, it felt really hard and emotionally moving for me to hear what you just said in the video, I remember watching your Annapurna series video multiple times during lockdown 2020 time and I remember how you said 'you missed Jodie a lot' when you were heading to Manang from Nwagal on that cloudy cold evening at the mountains, that line hit me hard now to know about the current update, but I wish as a Nepalese who loves the mountains, that beautiful feeling of missing somone you manifested here in my home country would work as a prayer to get you guys back together or atleast help you emotionally and mentally. I have watched each and every video of you guys travelling and I hope I am not speaking much, but you guys were truly my dream couple in this platform, from seeing the video you proposed her to just about everything, I still wish you guys can get back together if that is possible, because the same love never comes twice. I wish with all my heart that may the memories, struggles, learnings and all the hard work you have devoted come back to you in better and rewarding ways. Wishing you a better and most importantly happy and fulfilling life, from here on maybe the same old boy BVS we know of, but this time as a better and stronger man. Cheers man !
I don’t know if anyone else has mentioned it but you ( & a few guys like you) are the only reason many of us stayed sane through lockdown. Your videos kept us wanting to get through it so we could go out & shoot. You should be really proud of that, you definitely didn’t fail. I was in a similar position with my business crashing around my ears & like you, I’m only just getting past it. So a massive thank you from many of us for just being you. Having had my life fall apart in the past, I can honestly say it gets easier with time &as you remember who you are again. Stay strong man , we’re all with you.
Nice update Brendan and as someone else has already mentioned here, "A hint of the old Brendan is back." We discovered your channel way back in 2015 upon returning home from our first world bike tour and watched every previous video you had and many more that followed. It helped us sort of scratch that travel bug we had by living through your travels, but yeah something did change on the channel. Looking forward to seeing what you have next and we wish you all the best. Cheers ~Ron & Petra
Hey Brendan, sorry to hear that you've been through such a long dark period since I was on an incredibly enjoyable trip with you to Ecuador in 2019. Happy to see that you seem to be finding your happy self again!
Dude, wow, that was an update. Glad to see your doing okay and keeping busy, really busy. The Italy trip was fantastic and you and Greg did an excellent job. Looking forward to the next adventure with BvS. Dam those rabbits are cute 👍😍
Love the revised format/content Brendan and appreciate the vulnerability. I didn't even know I was interested in coffee - but after seeing your passion, maybe I am 😊
Absolutely loved this video Brendan. A mix of travel, personality and inspiring business talk is simply brilliant! Cannot wait for the next video. Do you mind if I ask a boring gear question? What tripod are you currently travelling with? Many thanks. Ross
Sorry to hear how turbulent your life has been and I am glad you seem.to be coming through the other side, stronger. I admire what you have achieved , several businesses including the photography one and kept them all afloat during a world wide pandemic , it's no easy feet . So looking at all the other positive comments here , you should be proud of what you have achieved and I wish you, happiness, whatever that looks like for you ! I am sure you have but I hope you have some true friends around you that you can lean on when you need to. All the best mate , sure you will make a success of whatever you set out to do. Also hope Jodie is OK and happy in her new ventures .
Brendan, you're super brave and courageous to have shared so much of your personal life to the world. I found your channel when looking at travelling to Japan and you inspired me. I've been in also been in a tough place last few years, and watching your content helped me. Thank you for the update and sharing, and continuing to share. Its fantastic to hear you're now super energised and motivated. Looking forward to tour Dolomites videos so much! Continue to be brave and show us the world through your perspective. ✌🏽
I have been following you since 2016. Crazy journey you had. Would like to meet you one day. Keep up the good work. Cheering for you as always! Nice to hear that you will share more videos from now on. Kind regards! Peter (Slovenia)
Brendan, you have the ability to tell a good story, and we all love your absolute honesty about your feelings. It goes way beyond photography, and the storytelling of your life is incredibly interesting. We just love the intimate details of your coffee shop and studio, and are really excited about your new turn of storytelling. I'm old enough to understand the crap that happens in relationships, and wish you the best. We're really looking forward to watching your future series. Thanks for your superb effort, we all appreciate it tremendously.
Love your work Brendan I’ve followed you for several years . Sorry to hear you’ve had it bit tough. You’ve become one my favourite photography RUclipsrs keep up the great content. hopefully you make it to Australia one day
I have watched your videos for years and always enjoyed your entertaining and educational videos. Focus on all the great achievements you have made, you are an inspiration for travellers and photographers! You passion and creativity shines through. Wish you all the best for the future!
Hugs to you, man. Also as a long-time follower (and someone who has had the great pleasure of your company), and perhaps as someone who has also gone through separation himself, I had strongly suspected the change in your personal circumstances. But you have survived. You endure. All the best.
Dude...I have always loved your channel. I honestly was curious of how things were with you and Jodie. You're both awesome people and I wish both of you success and happiness. I love where you 're taking the channel. Cool. I can see where the coffee and photography are similar. And I saved the best for last....the bunnies. So glad to see them again. Keep them part of this!!!
Thanks for the update. I have enjoyed your Chanel for years. I think it’s your self-deprecating humor along with your video and still image skills. I can’t get too much Brendon but will be happy with what I get. By the way, I love the stone streets in Lisbon. I was there a few years back.
I know exactly how you feel buddie, I,ve been there, trust me, look inside yourself, your internal power will make you put on the right path . You have all you need to be a successful person, so just take it easy and one step at the time. I will be in Portugal next year and promise I will go to your coffe shop in Madeira just to giveit a try to one of your coffes. Cheers from Spain.
I've always enjoyed your videos. No matter how much we get knocked down, you gotta keep pushing forward. Good that you have pushed on and keep doing what you do. Thank you for what you do.
It's okay, you don't own anyone here anything about your personal life. And I totally get the feeling of failure when a relationship ends. Hope you're doing fine 🤍
It’s ok if you’re never the same person you were again. There grief in that for sure, and we lose the people we once vibed with. But the right people always, always find you. And you find you. Thanks for sharing, Brendan. 🖤
I have been following for tons of years and had even planned a photography tour with you but couldn’t make it. I think the pandemic messed with a lot of lives and many are still trying to find their footing. I’m looking forward to you sharing more about your life along with the photography/coffee side. Wishing you only the very best….
Sorry to hear you had a rough patch. But I'm very happy you're vloging again 🥳 I love photography but I really enjoy you're vlogs no matter the content, and have done so for many years now. You're a great story teller. I especially enjoyed your episode from Trondheim, Norway 😉 Maybe our paths will cross again someday. Until then I'll be sure to watch you're vlogs. Welcome back Brendan 🎉
Brendan, man you are strong, having watched all your vlog, there was so much personal issues in your life.is there any plans to come to uk,like national photography and video show at NEC,Birmingham in middle of march.
The pandemic hit us very hard, I feel you pain, but you are a warrior, it's great that you share this and that's a great start, I'm sure you'll rebound, sorry about Jody, good luck and have faith
been subbed since before the 30000 mark I think and enjoy your content whatever you've put out. always an entertaining watch 🙂 sorry to hear about Jodie and you - always sad when people break up but it happens. don't feel like a failure - it takes two to make a relationship work.
Hello Brendan, I had the best cappuccino I've ever had in your coffee shop in Lagos this August. You were also in the shop and I paid you. Everything there was very harmonious and relaxed. You yourself are even more likeable and friendly in person than you come across in your videos. You almost didn't accept my tip, which was a bit too high. Which shows very nicely what a fine trait you must have. The pandemic has placed great demands on all of us, but it has also made us stronger and perhaps more flexible. Another little anecdote. When I was taking photos on the Seiser Alm in October, I met another photographer who was in Patagonia with you and Greg. He also meant very fine people, the two. So falling down also means getting up again. I'm excited about the new video formats.
Thanks so much for your kind words. And I'm glad you got into the coffee shop for one of the cappuccinos. We're very lucky to have a good team at our shops. :D
Is for videos like that one that I appreciate you, BVS. A real man, a real person, a real human being with feelings, problems, doubt and all the crap that affect many of us. I feel you under many aspects. I take you an inspiration to keep it hard and carry on working harder and harder. If Ironman would be tral, probably he would be you. Unstoppable! Come Bro, you are doing everything extremely good!
All the best Brendan, Glad you back, and on your own terms. Much love to you both, and I wish you both all the happiness going forward. I’ve had a break from watching any photography videos and miss yours, and the others, and keep wanting to get back to it. Glad I started a couple of days ago again, and starting to feel old self again. 😊
First of all, thank you Brendan! I am following you since years, but you are right. The last months your videos felt a bit different - almost some kind of a disconnection. Now that you are back on track, all the best for you. Enjoy life and just stay authentic! Cheers
Loved your video, your honesty and putting yourself out there was very brave, I hope your future brings your great happiness and great success. Look forward to continuing to watch your videos
I went through a bout of clinical depression 13 years ago, and the worst symptom is not wanting to get help! ComIng out and telling people about it is a good sign! Now, as a real coffee lover, can I order some coffee or do I need to go to Portugal? I’m ok either way! Hope to meet you on a photo expedition in the next year or so! You have great talent behind and in front of the camera!
Hi! Glad to hear you pushed through it as well. And, yeah, you can order coffee online. Although the shipping is a bit expensive to the us: www.thestudio.coffee Of course, going to Portugal is never a bad idea either.
Hi Brendan I hope this comment finds you well. Allways found it impressive what you managed to achieve with what the life gave you over the last few years. Still having the drive to creat. I don't want to have to experience what you had in the pandemic. All the best to you and your business partner Jody. Glad you still have a great work relation- and friendship. If live gives you lemons, make coffee. Also: classic Venice! Composition set, lights off😂
Not that many artisan coffee shops in central Funchal so hopefully you will do well. I was really impressed by Madeira when I went for the first time in September
Good to finally see some more Brendan, I didn't know I missed this side. Feels raw'er, more connected with people on this side. Also, I'm happy you are now in a better place than before when you were in a dark time 🎉
Cheers mate. As a visually impaired person I love to see the way you work and the photographs that you produce, Can’t believe you make it look so easy. Sorry to hear about all the things that have happened to you and Jody you’re such a nice guy but as they say in England s**t happens. Even though my wife and I have only visited Portugal twice once on honeymoon once 25 years later We adore Portugal, if I ever find myself in your vicinity I will try and find your coffee shop, I love a good cup of coffee. Take care mate and we will all see you around.
Good job Brendan it can’t be easy spilling your guts to the world. But hopefully it makes you feel better. They say what doesn’t kill you will only make you stronger. “Every problem has a gift for you in its hands” (Richard Bach). And if not every problem, then just about every one. Even spectacular sunsets are not possible without cloudy skies. Good luck in all you do going forward 😉
I prefer the life journey videos with a smattering of photography. Best of luck on all your business ventures, and fulfillment on your personal life and journey!
Cool! My office/edit suite has sound treatment, and all of it is covered in green bean coffee bags from a friend's roastery. Cerrado, Segova, Rwanda Peaberry :). Also, Madeira is totally a bucket list for me. Negotiating with a client of mine to see if we can travel there for a shoot this year.... MUST come have some of your coffee. On the more serious notes of your video - man... 2020 nearly buried me. I can totally relate with so much you shared.
First of all sorry to hear about u & Jody, you have been through a lot these last few years.. I’ve followed & watched your videos for years & selfishly enjoyed the daily vlogs, you more than anyone else gave me the motivation to be a better photographer & I’ll always be grateful for that. I sincerely wish you every happiness going forward & like many others are glad to see you back. Go get em Brendan ✊
I should also mention, my coffee company has a RUclips Channel: www.youtube.com/@thestudio.coffee

Thanks for thinking of me! It's always a tightrope deciding how much to share.
Couldn't have said it better...my sentiments exactly.
I wholeheartedly agree 😊 Brendan has been an inspiration to me and my photography, I opened two businesses around photography. I've always said that he owns the road and that there is no end to his growth 😊

Thanks Darren.
Good to see this update video dude 🙌 Keep the new style going strong ❤️
Thanks buddy.

Keep on and best wishes
Peter
The shop is open already Peter! Hopefully we cross paths :D
Good to see you back in the groove Brendon, sorry to hear things did not work out as planned, but well done on keeping a friendship connection with Jodie. Keep doing what you enjoy and look after yourself.
That's life. It wouldn't be fun if it was predicatable.
It was definitely trying times back in the lockdown days. I think it affected me much more than I had realized.
Long time follower here and great to see you back again. We missed you. Best of luck with your new adventures
I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your wife. My deepest condolences.
Wow! What an update video. It would be great to see you and Jodie back together in a relationship, you were such a lovely couple. Great to see the coffee business going well and with a new shop, I would love to visit a Coffee Studio and sample your coffee, maybe one day. You are still bang on with your photography such great images recently.
That ship has sailed, I'm afraid Paul. But we're still in a very good friend relationship, and I'm grateful for that.
Thanks for the kind words!
I've heard stories of your cat people ways hahaha. I'll get back down there to see you guys at some point. I hope all is well.
Thanks for following!
Thanks for following! It's a Typhoon 2.5kg roaster
Let us in mate. Sharing helps. And you're no failure, not by a long shot. You've doing some fantastic stuff, so keep going!
Just because you fail at something in life doesn't make you a failure as a person Brendan. I look at what you shared in this video and think crap this guy has some serious cahones and courage. Mistakes are OK as long as you learn from them. Keep your head up and keep pushing forward man!
Brendan, happy your back, missed all your videos and teaching. Can't wait to see what comes next for you and your businesses. Best of luck to you!
I appreciate that!
... when we watch someone's videos on RUclips on a regular basis, a totally random person from the different part of the world can also feel like a family, an elder brother who inspires to become more through his photographic passion and his nomadic way of living.
Been following you for years. Love your journeys and videos and you and Jodie are in our prayers.
Thank you Ken, hope you are well.
Thank you guys, appreciate all the support.
Hey Brendan, sorry to hear that you've been through such a long dark period since I was on an incredibly enjoyable trip with you to Ecuador in 2019. Happy to see that you seem to be finding your happy self again!
Thanks Lars, ironically, I'm literally back in Ecuador right now!
Not to worry. I've been following you for years and have no reason not to going forward. Get out there and grab the world! Cheers.
Dude, wow, that was an update. Glad to see your doing okay and keeping busy, really busy. The Italy trip was fantastic and you and Greg did an excellent job. Looking forward to the next adventure with BvS. Dam those rabbits are cute 👍😍
Thanks dude. Yeah, Italy was fun! Hope you're not freezing to death back in the GTA.
Love the revised format/content Brendan and appreciate the vulnerability. I didn't even know I was interested in coffee - but after seeing your passion, maybe I am 😊
Good luck with the new style of videos. I look forward to seeing them.
Hi Brendan, thank you for the update, I visited your coffee shop in April this year and loved the food and coffee and your pictures on the wall
Thank you. And I'm glad my content could offer some support and encouragement for you, that's always been this channel's goal.
This life is not easy. Glad you're adjusting with it.
I have been following you since 2016. Crazy journey you had. Would like to meet you one day. Keep up the good work. Cheering for you as always! Nice to hear that you will share more videos from now on. Kind regards!
Peter (Slovenia)
Welcome back, glad you're getting your act together!
welcome back, Brendan. We have missed you!
Thank you very much 😊
Love your work Brendan I’ve followed you for several years . Sorry to hear you’ve had it bit tough. You’ve become one my favourite photography RUclipsrs keep up the great content. hopefully you make it to Australia one day
Welcome back bro, don't forget you are a great person and we can see that through the screen..... and it can't rain all the time!! hugs!!
thanks Mauricio
I have watched your videos for years and always enjoyed your entertaining and educational videos. Focus on all the great achievements you have made, you are an inspiration for travellers and photographers! You passion and creativity shines through. Wish you all the best for the future!
Hugs to you, man. Also as a long-time follower (and someone who has had the great pleasure of your company), and perhaps as someone who has also gone through separation himself, I had strongly suspected the change in your personal circumstances. But you have survived. You endure. All the best.
Thanks!! Appreciate it.
Nice to see the old Brendan back, life can be hard sometimes but it sounds like you're winning again, looking forward to the new (old) style videos
Thanks for the update. I have enjoyed your Chanel for years. I think it’s your self-deprecating humor along with your video and still image skills. I can’t get too much Brendon but will be happy with what I get. By the way, I love the stone streets in Lisbon. I was there a few years back.
haha, I'm glad you enjoy my self-depricating nature haha
I know exactly how you feel buddie, I,ve been there, trust me, look inside yourself, your internal power will make you put on the right path . You have all you need to be a successful person, so just take it easy and one step at the time. I will be in Portugal next year and promise I will go to your coffe shop in Madeira just to giveit a try to one of your coffes. Cheers from Spain.
Sorry to hear you have been struggling. One step at a time. Sending much love.
I've always enjoyed your videos. No matter how much we get knocked down, you gotta keep pushing forward. Good that you have pushed on and keep doing what you do. Thank you for what you do.
Thanks for the kind words, David.
Good to see you're in a good place. I like the new video format, looking forward to watching the next ones !
Much appreciated!
I wish you the best, Brendan!
Just do what makes you feel better
Good luck with the new ventures and new adventures.
So glad you came back! You're such an inspiration :)
I have been following for tons of years and had even planned a photography tour with you but couldn’t make it. I think the pandemic messed with a lot of lives and many are still trying to find their footing. I’m looking forward to you sharing more about your life along with the photography/coffee side. Wishing you only the very best….
Yeah, we're all still coming out of the pandemic, even a couple years later. Thanks for the kind words, Peggy.
Thanks so much, man! I still appreciate the giant bag of candy you brought me way back when!
Brendan, man you are strong, having watched all your vlog, there was so much personal issues in your life.is there any plans to come to uk,like national photography and video show at NEC,Birmingham in middle of march.
This video makes me glad I stayed subscribed through the lull! Looking forward to your new content!
Cheers mate!
crazy to see you still wearing your hat despite of heavy rain in Funchal streets :D :D. Keep your head up!
HAHAHA. I needed the hat to protect my head! haha
The pandemic hit us very hard, I feel you pain, but you are a warrior, it's great that you share this and that's a great start, I'm sure you'll rebound, sorry about Jody, good luck and have faith
been subbed since before the 30000 mark I think and enjoy your content whatever you've put out. always an entertaining watch 🙂
sorry to hear about Jodie and you - always sad when people break up but it happens. don't feel like a failure - it takes two to make a relationship work.
Thanks for the support, mate.
Glad to hear that you fought your battles and finally you are feeling back as yourself. Welcome back
Cheers, Felix.
Holy shit 😢 was not expecting the breakup. best wishes for both !
Thanks man for the life update. Big changes, you handle it very well! Looking forward seeing you in Bolivia. 😀
Thanks buddy!!
Thanks mate!
Thanks so much Shannon! Hope you're well.
First of all, thank you Brendan! I am following you since years, but you are right. The last months your videos felt a bit different - almost some kind of a disconnection. Now that you are back on track, all the best for you. Enjoy life and just stay authentic! Cheers
Glad for your support, thanks!
That was some update. No failures Brendan, only lessons. Hope to see you again one day in Peru soon 😊
Thanks Mike, hope you're well.
@@BrendanvanSon all good here in Cusco thanks 😊
Loved your video, your honesty and putting yourself out there was very brave, I hope your future brings your great happiness and great success. Look forward to continuing to watch your videos
Your vulnerability is brave ✨ thanks for sharing Brendan 😊 so cool all that you have been doing 🎉
Sorry to hear about you & Jodie. I remember meeting you two here in Arizona. So to both of you. Stay safe.
Hey Chance! We remember you too. Hope you're well, man!
I’m doing well. Thank you.
Although the shipping is a bit expensive to the us: www.thestudio.coffee
Of course, going to Portugal is never a bad idea either.
Hi Brendan
I hope this comment finds you well.
Composition set, lights off😂
Thanks Daniel. Hope all is well, buddy!
Not that many artisan coffee shops in central Funchal so hopefully you will do well. I was really impressed by Madeira when I went for the first time in September
Good to finally see some more Brendan, I didn't know I missed this side. Feels raw'er, more connected with people on this side.
Also, I'm happy you are now in a better place than before when you were in a dark time 🎉
Yeah, here's to better connections again!
Thanks so much, mate!
This video is worth the watch for the coffee education alone. I love good coffee. Thanks, Brendan.
Rooting for you. Glad things are looking up. BTW, what’s up with that SUV you had…Land Rover I think? Haven’t seen it in a video in quite a while.
It's in the shop. It'll be back very soon!
Great words David, definitely some Irish to those words :D
I prefer the life journey videos with a smattering of photography. Best of luck on all your business ventures, and fulfillment on your personal life and journey!
Thank you!
Glad to hear you got through 2020 as well man. It was tough for a lot of us. And, you definitely need to get to Madeira!
Thank you Billy, appreciate all the support over the years.
